Grammy nomination December 8, 2005The 45th Annual Grammy Awards will be held on February 23 in New York City. Rammstein have be nominated for "Mein Teil" in the category of "Best Metal Performance". Others nominated include Ministry, Mudvayne, Shadows Fall, and Slipknot. This category will most likely not be broadcast. It's not the 45th, but the 48th Annual Grammy nomination, it will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8, at Staples Center in Los Angeles, and it will be broadcasted live in high-definition TV and 5.1 surround sound on CBS from 8 - 11:30 p.m. (ET/PT).

But WTC? WHY would they not broadcast it??? Just 'cuz they have to fit in all of the standard English-speaking groups? Geez, it's a freaking popularity contest... stare

I'm very happy that Rammstein has been nominated for the Grammys. And out of them music videos, they're defiantely going to win.
But what I don't get is why would they not broadcast it. Just because they don't speak English that well... It's definately not fair.
What the ********. This is America. We're supposed to be made up of different cultures. If the people can't ******** understand German, then put some damn translation.
Sometimes I hate this country. -___-;

I'm not sure, but it may be just because the genre's not as huge as your standard mainstream pop and rap... it's not popular amongst the masses...
