She has much respect for her higher ups, but usually doesnt show that. She doesnt use honorifics for her higher ups unless it's with the Captain Commander, and even then, she doesnt use them often. Instead, she gives them annoying pet names.
Her temper is extremely short, though when it is set off, most people cant tell because she becomes somewhat comical. She resorts to "thwacking" people with her staff instead of actually fighting them. When genuinely pissed at someone, she tends to leak out a dark reiatsu somewhat similar to Hei's, though her's seems like it's trying to goad an opponent into fighting by teasing them.
Fighting isnt really her thing because of her zanpakutou spirit. She's deathly afraid of him, refusing to even call him by his real name.
Overall, she is a very happy person. She prefers to look at the good in someone before seeing them for what they really are.
After Hei's death, she becomes more of a quiet person, and her temper becomes less comical. Also becomes more determined to get along with Odo. (this works to an extent, he no longer tries to hurt her mentally)
Bio:
Mochi's human life was short lived. She was raised by a carnival owner, a mean man who forced her to perform in the shows he did twice a week. She worked as an acrobat for much of her young life, and now incorporates that into her fighting style. She ran away from the circus/carnival thing after being touched by one of the Freak Show workers. He later found her and killed her. During her time of being alive, she would hang out with many of the other orphan kid things. There was one girl that she was particularly fond of. They did everything together, and spent every minute they werent working together. One night, after Mochi had declared to herself and the other girl that she loved her, her companion left her. She said she was weird that a girl loved another girl. After that, Mochi didnt associate herself with her ex-companion. This sort of shook her up, and made her think that she wasnt good enough for someone. She soon got over it though.
After arriving at Rukongai, she joined a group of orphans that stole from shops to feed each other. She snuck into one of the royal families houses after about 100 years of doing the same thing. When she got in, she was arrested by a few shinigami that were helping out the family. They later told her she might be a good candidate for the ranks, which led her to joining the Soul Society.

Mochi has bags underneath her eyes, revealing her lack of sleep on a regular basis. She usually covers the bags with make up though, so no one asks questions.
After the death of Hei, she cut her hair so that it no longer reaches her hips, instead stopping right at her shoulders.

Sealed Form Appearance:
In it's sealed state, Odokemonoshi is a long staff that is always strapped to Mochi's back. It is about as long as she is tall, and though it looks weak and wooden, it's still a Zanpakutou. It's a black color, with a stripe of white at the very top. The very bottom of the staff is spiked, though if it's purposely like that or not is unknown. Because there is no known blade in its sealed form, Mochi has learned to be able to take someone out simply using her hands.

Odokemonoshi is a demented clown/jester. His colors are purple, cerulean, and black, the three colors that Mochi wears all the time. He wears a jester hat, but also carries a top hat with him at all times. He's always smiling, though his smile is never happy; it's always demented and sadistic looking. He's always looking forward to the death of his next victim.
If he's ever giving Mochi advice, it's always on how to kill her opponent.
Shikai Appearance:
By pulling out her staff and twirling it a few times, Odokemonoshi begins to blaze a bright demonic purple color before she stops its twirling. Instead of just being a staff, it now has a head on it, like so, only the red is replaced by cerulean, and the staff is now purple in color. Her appearance doesnt change at all.

Shikai Abilities:
As her reiatsu is released, an aura of fear and despair begins to surround the immediate area. Even captain ranks will feel the effect, though to a lesser degree than someone weaker. Her normal fighting style of feigns and parries and random spinny acrobatic attacks becomes more pronounced during this stage. Being hit with the staff does not cut the opponent, but it will do much damage, especially if hit with the head or the spiked end.
Teguchi Kou: Trick Box
Mochi waves the staff in front of her and three 8'8 boxes appear in front of her. Each box spins around her twice before disappearing. Each one is a different color, and each one does a different thing. They reaper when an attack is near Mochi though.
*The cerulean one can absorb energy based attacks three times before it explodes.
*The black one also absorbs energy based attacks, but instead of holding them, it teleports to a random area around the opponent and shoots the attack back.
*The purple one blocks physical attacks by unfolding itself and moving to protect whatever area is being attacked. Mochi can direct this box to protect anything she wants. (captain level physical attacks can break through this box though)
Nouzui Arashi: Brain Storm
By spinning her staff around and catching the opponents eye , she can capture them in a trance and force them to see their worst fears/nightmares. The only drawback is that Mochi is forced see what the opponent is seeing. Also, both Mochi and the opponent are completely vulnerable when this attack is being used.
Karuto Tatsumaki: Card Tornado
It looks like a Getsuga Tenshou, but instead of being made solely of spiritual energy, it's made of razor sharp cards. She can control the cards perfectly up to a 20 yards radius, but after that the cards go with the current of the wind until they finally spin out of control. On the back of all the cards is her zanpakutou spirit, smiling dementedly.

Bankai Appearance:
Mochi's bankai has four different appearances. They're all the same size, and also inescapable by both Mochi and whoever (or whatever) is within a 120 yard radius of her (120 yards high as well). Nothing can come in, or out of the surrounding area once it is brought up. There are two ways to leave: if Mochi is knocked out, or killed. Only someone of Captain Commander strength could possibly break free, or enter the bankai once it is activated.
Mochi's outfit also changes. She takes on this appearance, and now has two blades, both red in color. The blades only purpose is cutting and directing certain attacks, they have no special powers and are not zanpakutou. (The bow on her chest can double as a facial shield when Kira-Suna is activated.)
Circus Tent: Kyokuba Tento--
A large tent surrounds the area. Inside, clowns and acrobats swing from the top of the tent, jugglers move around juggling dangerous things. It's your normal circus, except the music is scary, and no one is laughing. Everything is dead.
Outside perimeter looks exactly like a circus tent.
Death Prison : Sendo Kangoku--
Exactly what it sounds like.
This surrounding is a large prison chamber. Clowns in striped convict outfits shlup around moaning and groaning about their lost lives.
Outside perimeter looks like cell bars spaced about an inch apart from each other. (nothing can get in or out though)
Black Forest: Kuroi Mori--
Looks almost like the Forest of Menos all in all. Large, leafless trees surround the area, and the dirt is hard and rocky, unkind to all. Dark beasts slumber in this area, and are liable to attack anything with a heartbeat. (Mochi included)
Outside perimeter looks like dead trees with branches splaying everywhere. There are gaps between the large trunks, but again, nothing can get in or out.
Killer Sands: Kira-Suna--
A vast desert surrounds Mochi and her opponent. It is hot, dry, and extremely sunny. A few random cacti pop up, but they look as dead as the sand.
Outside perimeter looks wavy, making it seem as if the desert goes on forever.

Circus Tent: Kyokuba Tento--
- Rasen Kaji-- Spiral(ing) Fire
Simple attack that varies in size depending on who's on fire. The acrobats and clowns that swing from the ceiling catch fire and fall; right onto the opponent. As they're falling, they spin to increase speed and impact strength. An enhanced form of this move involves the clowns and acrobats linking hands above the opponent, and when they get close enough, they pull themselves together, burning said opponent from all sides.
Naifu Tounyuu-- Knife Throw(er)
A small clown wearing all white runs out and hands Mochi a box of knives in which she proceeds to throw in multiple different ways. Some knives are burning hot, while others are cold as ice and shatter upon impact. There are a total of 100 knives, and when they run out, they cant be replaced until the next time this surrounding is brought out.
Prison Death: Kangoku Sendo--
- Tetsu Otome-- Iron Maiden
Iron maidens' appear all around the enemy, all of them open. Clowns clad in black outfits appear next to them and attack the enemy with Mochi's strength, speed, and skills, all trying to get the opponent to get closer to the open Maidens. Once inside, the opponent is trapped with no way out until Mochi opens one of the doors and releases them. There are spikes everywhere except in the head area, and none of them are located in vital places. This is meant to torture and subdue the opponent.
Genbutsu--Stocks
This isnt really an attack, it's more so a way to capture and make useless of the opponent. Only when provoked will Mochi attack someone or something in the stocks.
Knife Throw(er) also exists in this surrounding.
Black Forest: Kuroi Mori--
- Kuroi Inu Soshaku-- Black Dog(s) Bite (Tatsujin Inu)
By calling out Tatsujin Inu, Mochi can call out a pack of demon wolves from the forest trees. There are about 20 of them. Their bite is lethal and will poison anything bitten. The poison attacks the opponents senses, starting with hearing, then touch and feeling in the body, then smell, sight, and then finally the sense of where they are (e.g, going up or down, spinning or standing still etc). This attack is the only one that remains during and after the surrounding area has changed. The poison will leave the body through sweat glands and urine after 24 hours, and is not fatal in any way.

Touch goes out during the sixth post, feeling begins to go out during the seventh.
**8-10 Posts--
Feeling in the body (this includes feeling pain) is completely gone by the eighth post, and smell begins to fade out during the tenth post.
**11-15 Posts--
Sense of smell is completely gone, and sight begins to fade. First the opponent's vision just becomes rather blurred, but by the thirteenth post, it is completely gone. By the fifteenth post, the opponent will no long be able to stand without stumbling like a drunkard or worse.
Karasu Hane-- Raven(s) Wing (Tatsujin Karasu)
By calling out Tatsujin Karasu several large ravens (7) appear and begin spinning around the opponent rapidly, creating large currents of razor sharp wind. The ravens can be guided by Mochi's blades.
Killer Sands: Kira-Suna--
- Kobura Dageki-- Cobra Strike
A large cobra made of sand appears. It is hardened sand, so if the opponent is hit by any part of the cobra, they will be damaged. The cobra can be controlled by Mochi's blades.
Kinjitou Kangoku-- Pyramid Death
Large pyramids shoot up from the sand, each one with a base of 30 feet and pointed spears at the points of them. There can only a max of 20 pyramids that appear at a time. Their main purpose is to impale the target, but they can also be used to get rid of persisting attacks of the opponents.
Suna Toburai-- Sand Burial
Large holes of sand start appearing under and around the opponent, taking anything on top of its surface down with it. Each pit is about 20 yards deep, and once the opponent is inside, sand covers the top, burying them alive. After using this attack, Mochi usually seals the opponent in the pit but jumping into the air and letting out all of her reiatsu so that it compresses the sand.

Specialized Point System
Master Hand to Hand Combatant: Having a rather unorthodox Zanpakutou sealed form, Mochi has had to train even harder in unarmed combat. Is able to stand toe to toe against an armed opponent. Is also ambidextrous in this and Zanjutsu.
Immense Spiritual Pressure: Even before becoming a captain, Mochi held an unusual amount of spiritual pressure. Now, as a captain, it is higher than most others would first assume. Is able to stay in Shikai using all of the attacks, while still using the kido she knows without suffering fatigue for long amounts of time.
Enhanced Endurance: Though near fatal injuries can slow her down, she is able to brush off anything else and continue fighting for long periods of time.
Sewing: She makes all of her own outfits.
Style: Style is a mix between Rock Lee and Ty Lee. Strong punches and kicks with odd movements put in the middle. Hard to keep up with.
