It's the holiday season. As which, many new, awesome titles are out, for many equally awesome systems. Which do you like? What are YOUR favs? What went above and beyond, and what just failed?
I'd love to hear!
(Plus, the guild needs more activity than just the RC thread). sweatdrop

Oh my god. Oh my GOD. gonk I haven't been keen to gaming news/releases because of school. What's coming out this holiday season? I'm particularly interested in what's new for the Wii and DS.

I mostly played on my 360 this year. So I guess that it wins this year. I really need to get back to my DS gaming.

Nostalgia is that Steampunk RPG, right? I liked the idea, but not so much the sprites. *shrug*
Looked interesting, though. No clue about the other title. xD

OMG! You HAVE to play Atelier Annie! It's part of the Atelier series (Mana Khemia, Atelier Iris etc.) and unlike the others, it's not pure RPG but more of a time management game. Ala Harvest Moon. Meets Phoenix Wright since you don't actually explore your surroundings that much. It's really fun and funny, and it doesn't feel like it's imposing anything on you because EVERYTHING is optional. Even winning. XD There exist character side quests and horrifically hard sub bosses (normal monsters are easy >.>) but you really have to work at those to see the story of the characters. The game won't remind you that you missed that month or whatever. (and with the alchemy system meaning it takes days to synthesise objects, it's easy to miss your deadline ;_ wink
Nostalgia is that Steampunk RPG, yes. The airship fighting is amazing although mostly because of the cannon >.> Yes I like controlling cannons >.> The sprites are OK. I agree, they are kind of blocky. Apparently the story isn't amazing but I'm a sucker for those lone ranger orphan looking for parents types (ala Pad) so I'm slowly playing it >.> This is the person who hasn't finished TWEWY and FFTA2 yet so... I may be at it for a while rofl
