Barak traveled back home from sheer memory alone. She didn't want to mess with anymore animals. She had a few scars on her hide from a few male lions she'd met and a sour heart from a cheetah who cracked her heart in two.

Thunder. It had sounded loudly when she'd roared and she'd taken its name. She was no longer Kanoni, the 'little bird' of her youth. She was a powerful lioness with an attitude to match. From her fights and what she'd learned in her time alone in the savannah she was certainly a powerful female.

Lean, dangerous, and mean. Her tail constantly twitching in agitation.

Had her siblings made it back? She hadn't seen her family in such a long time. How had they changed other then manes?

There was one person she needed to see. To confirm that she was no longer a child but a full grown huntress.

Her mother. She moved herself toward the den they had once shared all together, seeking the other out.
