Background:
Durig, like most Dwarves, was born into the line of duty in which he still serves. His father, much like his grandfather, was a priest and speaker for the mighty Moradin. From adolescence he was trained in the art of combat and rune carving, being from a scholarly family.

The tradition is something highly regarded in Dwarven society, as one's family history is well preserved and those who keep it are highly respected. From the ages of thirty five to one hundred and ten the clerics are sent on a holy quest, documenting their journey as they go. This quest is to bring favor to the dwarves in lands where they are not yet known or respected, and to prove their might to Moradin.

Durig, being forty three, has been adventuring for some time now. He is finally starting to stand out amongst the crowd, having honed his combat abilities moreso than most his age. As well, he has recently gained much favor from Moradin, as he found a curative touch was granted him.

What lies beyond these newly discovered abilities has yet to be seen, but be sure he will keep record of it in his tomes.

Special:
Durig is fluent in Dwarven, Common, Celestial, Infernal and Undercommon.

Can move at full speed (20 feet) even if in medium or heavy armor and/or carrying a medium or heavy load.
