So this is a small Pokémon Role-play I've created.
RulesAt the begining all new players will have a roster of 1 pokemon. The game takes place in the Kanto Region which was the location of the first 3 games. But I will allow any of the starter pokemon from any game

Age: 18
Background:A deadbeat, he's never left home for longer than a week thinking his mother would provide a suitable life for him until she died. This was unfortunately turned upside down as his little sister decided to become a Pokemon trainer. Forced by his mother to accompany his sister on her journey through Kanto Markus is resentful and shows little intrest in the journey and would of much rather stayed home and played his NES.
Starter: Teddiursa (Ted)
Starter's Background: Teddiursa was given to Markus by his father at the age of 14 in the hopes that he would follow his footsteps and become a great pokemon trainer. Markus of course did not. Instead treated 'Ted' more like a pet, never even having a inkling to battle him. The Result is that Ted has become just as lazy and laid back as his trainer.

Trainer Name: Yue Kansaki
Age: 14
Background: Yue is from a village still participating in most of their old cultural rituals and traditions, though they’ve incorporated modern developments into their lives. Yue's to come of age and take over being the priestess of her town. Though she’s to assume the role at 16, she’s to take a journey to seek the blessing of all the ‘ancient forces’ which translated loosely as the legendary pokemon. No one knows the exact course of the trip- it's always different. Yue must seek an audience or encounter each force in question- usually determined by element. And if the pokemon deems her worthy by a sign they will make, Yue can move onto the next one. Yue was reluctant at first to take the role – for it originally was to fall to her older sister, but an accident rendered her blind. The journey is too dangerous for her to resume, and so the role has fallen to Yue to complete.
Starter: Riolu “ Mui"
Starter's Background: The pilgrimage of the Elements if a long and treacherous one at times. A starter pokemon is selected from a wide range of ones that can travel long distances and face many enemies. For this reason, fighter types were preferred, simply because the traveler needed steady protection no matter what the conditions. Usually a ceremonial competition is held. Riolu was the actual reason that tipped the scale in Yue’s decision. Riolu was to become her sister’s guardian before the accident. The pokemon blames himself for not stopping what happened and fervently begged to become Yue’s guardian during the ceremony of choosing. Despite what others said against him-Yue accepted.

Trainer Name: Sammi Azul
Age: 14
Background: Sammi is a fire type pokemon lover. Her starter was an egg which she hoped it was a fire type but weirdly was the water type Squirtle. Sammi and Squirtle have a hate relationship from the begining. Her gol was to catch all fire types but then getting a water type starter made her change to battle all types of pokemon with just one pokemon, this includes the legendaries. She doesn't want to catch anything, just battle adlevel her starter.
Starter: "Squirt"le
Starter's Background: Egg to pokemon. He hates Sammi and always attacks her, usually water gun to the face. Squirt likes to run off and battle without listening to Sammi at all. He is the only pokemon Sammi will be using thoughout the journey.
