What if by some way, the Sentinel learned how the Event was going to end, with neither her nor the Overseer winning and them becoming mortal? What do you think would've happened then?

*moves to Righteous Campaigns* =)
I think the Sentinel was too blinded by her own rage and Jack's empty promises to consider any alternative other than her winning. It is the sin of pride, which she encompasses in bucketfuls.

You don't think she would've tried to get rid of Jack as well or something? She may have been angry but I don't think she's stupid.

I never implied that the Sentinel is stupid. The Overseer, the object of her hate, was her initial target. Completely understandable.
I'm sure she would have tried, eventually, but Jack never had any intention of letting her hold on to any power and therefore it is irrelevant. The two gods were pawns in a game he was playing... they were the masks for his scheme. That's all.

I don't think that anything would have changed... She would have needed to get rid of the Overseer to attack Jack. Even if she wasn't blinded by her hate, the outcome would have been the same.
If she wasn't so !@#$, she could have convinced the Overseer that she had turned good, and made up a conspiracy theory about Jack to help the Overseer get rid of him, and then just turn her back on the Overseer... buttt, I don't think that she'd be capable of teaming up with him, even for a moment.

Well being imprisoned and tortured for a thousand years does affect one's personality and sanity. Not to mention their people skills.
