Just to get discussion up, I want to know what your favorite RP is. So if you please, vote and tell us all about your favorite type of role play. My favorite role play is basically one that is social. School rps normally fall under this one, so I guess... But I tend to participate in Fantasies more.

I enjoy scifi/fantasy that have that dark feel to them. That feeling of anxiousness and suspense. That constant suspicion that your ally is going to shoot you, and not the monster. It's those twists, surprises, and thrills that I like to have in an RP. The more detail, the more backstories, the better.

Lol all is fine. I'll just have to get creative.

Fantasy is my preferred genre, specifically fantasy/action. Heh, I suppose you could say that it's my specialty. I'm not big on romance as a main theme, but as a contributor to the story it's okay. I like reading science fiction, but as a style of roleplay I feel that it's hard for me to do.

And a story shouldn't be too liniar. If only certain things are allowed to happen, the RP gets boring. A good plot is certainly great to have, but all of the other RPrs should have the capability to control what happens. After all, it is the socail aspect of RPs that makes them so fun. Way better than just sitting around playing a video game, in my opinion.
