I am now 23 years old. I am too grown up for the filth you all spew out :/
This is a thread for the mature people of the guild to discuss adult (not adult as in porn, adult as in pensions stare ) topics.
Today I was doing my taxes when I realized the government is supressing my freedoms and putting them in an urn of imcompetence while controlling the press of anti-climatic w2s.
What are your opinions on this matter?

It sucks, though, because you either get less money throughout the months due to claims, or you have to pay s**t once a year. You just can't win. xP

Ah, the misguided rebellion of adolescence. Taxes are a necessary evil, as is the bureaucracy that controls them. A government without taxes, as demonstrated by the government formed oh-so-many years ago by the Articles of Confederation, is a government paralyzed by an inability to act. While it is true that the system could use some trimming, the fact is there are other more pressing issues at hand than one's whippersnapper's frustration at filling out a form. talk2hand

Yes yes I agree the percentage of my pay that gets taken monthly for taxes is outrageous but so is the amount I have to pay in a lump sum if I choose to wait and not shell it out monthly. >.>

I get paid, then the city takes away money do to Medicare and taxes. And then I get reimbursed for travel, which is really odd to me as I only live like a mile away from my job.

They are cruically handicapping society with their rebellious nature and lactose behavior.

Taxes will likely always be necessary, but it's WHAT they tax that gets out of hand.
