this is more of a vent box sort of thing. We have our son on enfamil. He has been on it since he was 2 waeeks old. but we used premium lately it was not working. We have used premium +lipil, lipil, and gentle ease and now A.R. for frequent spit up. I just hope it works. stressed

You both have made me feel really lucky. After we weaned him off of breast milk, we used Target brand formula for Alex and he never had a problem with it.

I had a horrible time breast feeding, my breast bleed alot so I ended up haveing to wean her off at 4 months. She throw up the normal stuff WIC gave us so they started her on Prosobee and shes been fine. I guess shes lactoes intolerant

See the thing is I couldn't breast feed. My son would latch on and suck but I was not producing much milk and he was getting frustrated and not gaining so I made the decision to formula feed. when i was not working i was on wic and they only have good start but he didnt like it and it made his stool smell really bad and look way too hard so i got off wic and im paying for his formula. he was doing great on enfamil premium until he turned 2 months old. I believe he is teething so a lot had changed. But the A.R. is working perfectly. He has always slept through the night so thankfully that has not changed. Just the spit up is finally gone! biggrin

the hospital send us home with a bunch of cases of enfamil A+ and after we used them up i was buying 12pkgs of the concentrate cans at 50.00 a box. so i switched to the powder but we found he was gaining too much weight too fast, so we went a step down to just enfamil with iron. after a month of that, i was shopping and comparing formula and discovered that walmart brand, parents choice, formula is almost the exact same, but half the price. so we switched him to that.
he hasnt had any issues with all the switches, though the first few feedings i mixed the old with the new just to let his tummy adjust to the new one. if you havent tried this, and just switched cold turkey and are having problems, try mixing for a week to get your baby adjusted smile

transitioned him from formulas by mixing the old with the new. thats the way it should be done. Since you do not know how their tummys will react to it. He is now 5 months and a half and is eating cereal with some baby food. Still bottle fed of course. although he can now grab sippy cups lol

Sasha is now 11 months old so she gets mostly baby food and very little bottles.

I breastfed my daughter since birth. We tried formula a few times but she never could get into it. There was only once when she refused to breastfeed and only ate from the bottle. I didn't mind at all, it was a great bonding experience for me and her. She didn't ween until she was about 14 months. It was hard because she really didn't want to stop and I didn't want to give up our special time together however her teeth were making it impossible to continue. I had to give her Vitamin D drops however since it seems that breast milk is lacking it and is vital to babies systems.

Nutramagen A+ Enfamil. It is digested to the farthest it can be and is for babies with a cow milk protein allergy. It's the only thing that helped Jeffrey (until his recent episodes but thats not relevant)
