((Wheee, first post XD This will look crap against your's Kealdra!!!))

The darkening sky seemed to bring a forboding that followed him wherever he did tread. around his huge fore and hindclaws, the dry grass wilted with the heat that protected his body from the rain, the drops coming within ten centimeters of his body and bursting into a puff of extremely hot steam. The blood red scales were something that casued fear and dread within smaller dragons, and the silvr and black swirls seemed to create a large black mist, that spread before him, feeling for another presence, protecting the huge dragon from preying eyes. The silver claws and spikes glinted in the watery light of the moon, and massive wings were tucked into his body as he walked across the open plains of the Laproten Plains. Large teeth protruded over his bottom lip, giving his countanence an even more disturbingly fierce appearance. This was a dragon with time on his side, and with more then enough hate to fill the world of Jurgen. Husa, was prowling.

Even at night, his Dark Mist power swam around him, and as the torrent of rain tipped out of the sky onto his powerful back and shoulders, he seemed only to be a slightly smoking fire to any that saw the plume of steam that headed him. His huge muscled neck was slightly arched, his silver, glowing eyes peered about with a malice of pure hate at anything moving. He was cold, even with his inner power, and it made him even more vicious then his usual temprement. There was an evil growl as the rain started to produce a current of permenant noise above him when lightning lit up the sky and made his scales light up the brush and dried out grasses with a blood red glow. The huge Toltican gave off a roar of anger, that rivalled the volume of the thunder itself as it rode on the aftershocks of the lightning. Huse rose up onto his hind legs, rising up to a full 30 foot. The 40 foot wing span opened and the Toltican roared with such a ferocity that even the ground beneath him shook with the power of it. The rain angered him to no point known within normal dragons, but this Toltican had to be the most evil of them all. Lowering onto his forefeet again Husa continued through the rain.

Husa's eyes spotted something glint gold in the following lightning strikes, up ahead of him. He liked the brightness, but he wasn't about to rush to it. If it was another Dragon, he was only going to chase it off. How dare it head towards his caves in the depths of the Plains! The silver claws of his wings clacked together as his spread his wings and set off into the air, glowing silver eyes watching the gold up ahead. The huge dragon banked to the right as he passed over the top of the golden dragon, a loud roar echoing as he flew past, bladed tail snapping open above the golden dragon's head, in an attempt to scare it off. Husa could see that it was a Pendragif, which gave his firce face an edge of angered mischief as he spun back towards the dragon and dragged his claws through the air just above the feathered wings. He knew the wind and the rain would cause it problems, as the water would clog the feathers, whereas his Fire Dragon heritage gave him the power to be free of the water. Turning again in midair, Husa flew over the dragon again, snapping his jaws above it before flying up into the cloud bank that was thick and black above them. Dodging the electrical currents that were zipping through the clouds, Husa broke out above the clouds and roared, freefalling back down and snapping his wings open as he neared the ground, speeding across the plain, dodging bushes and freestanding trees.

"So who be this?" He pondered aloud as he turned up, back into the safety of the sky. He hovered, a large red ghost of anger as he watched the golden Pendragif approach. His glowing silver eyes were narrowed as he hovered, large black and siver wings flapping lazily to keep him aloft, the water still turning to steam on his body. "We'll see what it is doing here when it comes to realise this is my domain." His evil laughter rang out in a growling baritone.

((Oh my god Kealdra! Give a guy a heart attack why don't'cha!))

The baritone laughter of the huge Toltican rang out, covering the rumbling of the thunder above them, as lightning laddered across the bottom of the clouds and then struck trees and the ground below. The blood red glow of his scales flashed about, marking the golden Pendragif with his colour, and his silver glowing eyes following the Pendragif like a beacon, drawn to her glowing golden fur and feathers. He was intrigued, but his current state held no chance of friendship to blossom, and her own mood seemed to rival his, though in a very weak way. If he was to unleash the full potential of his hate and ferocity, she would be nothing but ash and a few flecks of blood. His Dark Mist reached for her glowing body, wrapping itself around her like a cloak, probing at her mind. Although she was shut off, his Dark power fed from her anger, her agony, his Despair power drawing them, leaving her outside barrier with nothing. His silver eyes seemed to glint with eagerness to show she had tangled with the wrong dragon. His black curled red foreclaw held itself out to her, and a small ball of reething blackness flooded it.

"Do you know what this is, Pendragif?" His voice was icy compared to his obvious Fire heritage the steam still rising from his scales and wings as he remained hovering, turning with the Pendragif as it whirled around him. Inwardly, he laughed at her need of the 'Feet of the Wind' power, and he continued to draw on her emotions, prodding the barriers with a fierce determination that would let her know that he was the one in charge. The black ball in his hand started to seperate into individual shards, and red eyes and gaping mouths appeared within the shards, giving the visable power a recoiling essence. The Toltican grinned, baring his massive teeth, rugged and sharp and awaiting their chance. "This is 'Black Rats' and few dark dragons hold the will to use it. It will eat at your soul and being, slowly, painfully, and for as long as I wish." The ball started to wail in a high pitched manner. It had grown only slightly bigger as the shards grew in number, but the Toltican kept in closely guarded. Husa did not plan to use force unless he really had to, or if the addiction to power drove him to prove he wasn't as weak as she seemed to think.

"Maybe you would like to be my 'rat'?" His laughter was enough to unnerve the dead, and his glowing silver eyes ebbed with his power, his 'Despair' still syphoning her emotions that roiled around her like her own shield. He had spyed her display and what it had opened up for him. A human no less. Tasty things humans... Especially when fresh... His grinned turned malicious, and he pointed toward the cover where the human had disappeared. "Or mayber that girl? After all, her blatant declaration that she could 'perish me to the winds' is an interesting one!" He vanished the ball of 'Black Rats' and pushed off with his large wings and circled around the female, gripping her mind's barriers with his 'Despair'. "But then... she had the intelligence to run, my dear Pendragif." He ran a clawed hand over her feathers wing, beating as furiously as it was, he still managed to pluck a feather, its pale cream colour amazingly bright again his blood red and black scales.

"What makes me believe it is mine?" The feather went up in a puff of fierce silver and black flame, the edges licked with red. It burned for a long time, and Husa nodded his agreement. "Fire heritage too... Very good little female, very good!" Husa laughed again, and left the burning feather to fall through the air, let it be pelted by rain. The steam still rose as he passed beneath the female, the steam surrounding her as he rose up infront of her. "Well... No one tried to take it from me before!" His jaws opened to immeasurable size, and the teeth gleamed as lightning shed the sky, sying it momentarily purple. The jaw started their decent on the female's neck as his 'Despair' power started to tighten around the barriers, hoping to pop them open. He wanted to scare her, and he want to do so drove him on. He knew she would fear him. Toltican's were feared for a reason, and this Pendragif had decided to venture too close to his home caves!

((Hey, its cool Kealdra, I love reading your posts!! I just sometimes feel that I don't write enough for you!!!))

The chunk of the Pendragif that had come free as she had twisted out of his grip was swallowed quickly, the light power in her very being making him feel a little weird, but the power gain from the fire in her made his body soar with energy. As she spiralled down, his evil laughter, blood stained lips and teeth glinting like his scales in the lightning, would have been enough to chill even the bones of the most powerful Dragon in the whole of Jurgen. Flame engulfed his body, the intence heat causing the rain clouds around him to disintergrate into a mass of scolding steam. His roar of power shook the very earth of the Laproten plains and his Black Rats power started to wail once again, the small, glowing faces making the Black Mist around him take on a disturbing, sickening movement. The open cavity of his mouth started to glow, a black and silver tinted flame suddenly shooting from him, the flames around his body also changing colour as his Dark powers twisted it, manipulated the Fire power into something unstoppable, a power all of its own.

The huge Toltican beat his huge black and silver swirled wings, shooting up into the air, and the dived down in a huge spiral, his silver eyes glowing with hate, but their usual red starting to glow through as his Fire being started to take over, the black and silver flame welling in his throat as he dived. Pulling up hard just above the Pendragif, the black and silver fire shot from his throat and surrounded the Pendragif, with the fire hot enough to singe fur and feather, as well as skin and hide. The Toltican looped up again, a shot of blade sharp Black Mist lashing out at the female, his tail blade also following up the Mist. The Toltican was growing angry that this female was not getting the point and leaving, and pulling up the memory of where the small human had run to, soared over it, blasting the area of woodland with black silver flame that erupted into red and orange as it hit the ground. The blood red Toltican let an earth shattering bellow leave his body, foreclaws outstretched in line with his wings, hindlegs pointing towards the ground and tail pointed straight down as he rose into the sky, a signifying pose of triumph and power. The now red and silver glowing eyes swirled in a sickening way, anger roiling off of the Toltican in drowing waves.

"You think you can outmaneuver me, Pendragif Storm?" His voice echoed off of the clouds and the now freezing snow flakes that still burst into steam as it tried to settle of Husa's scales. "This storm is not for you, female. This strom rides only for me, and I use it to its full potential!!!" His still blood stained teeth and lips were pulled back into a defiant grin at the supposed Summer Goddess. His laughter rang out, but while he revealed in his thought victory, a bolt of lightning lashed out across the underneath of the clouds, clipping one of his magnificant wings. The laughter suddenly erupted into a scream of pain, and the huge Dragon spun towards the ground, landing heavily on his side, all power leaving his body in that moment of pain, the snow and sleet pounding into his body, wings limp around him, eyes closed and the glowing of his body dimmed to a near black. The storm that had followed him for so long, kept him in the fear of all, had finally turned on him, Storm's words that he controlled not the storm ringing true as he lay, prone in the torrent of the rain. His body ached from the sudden jolt, and his muscles refused to work. He knew that he was taking a chance when he had decided to run the female Pendragif off the Plainlands, but he had not seen that it would result into him being defeated by the elements themselves. The pain in his body seemed to crackle the air around him, and the driving pain of the snow and sleet pounding his fiery flesh made a groan of pain escape his jaws.

Wondering where the Pendragif had disappeared to, and not really caring anymore, believing the female would probably take the chance to either kill him or leave the weather to finish him, he closed his eyes to the world, awaiting the end that now seemed so close. He could feel the gaping hole ing his wing where the electricity had hit, and he growled inwardly at his stupidity, before everything went blank, and his mind discontinued to function properly, the Darkness enveloping him into its embrace, keeping him safe within it, the conscienceness slipping.

((I know how you feel. When I first joined the Aershaa RP, I was like. OMG how do they write so gosh darn much! Wow, I was stunned and I always felt so insignificant and stupid. I struggled to make a two paragraph post. XP Speaking of the Aershaa RP, I'll respond to it ASAP, but I'm rather swamped right now and am on sever time constraint! XD))

Storm watched him through the mist, the darkness following him wherever he tread. The steam around his body aloud her to distinguish where he was, along with a shield of intense flames that surrounded him. Storm cringed as the wailing began, she wrapped her frozen feathers around her ears in dismay, sobbing desperately and wanting it to stop. The fire from his mouth alit him suddenly brighter than he had been before, his sickening blood stained teeth glinted maliciously at her. Her blood. It angered her to see this, made her want to rip his heartless soul from his body. A glint of flame rose higher into her silver eyes until they were a flicker of yellow and red dangerously radiating in the thick of the night. The darkness and the storm engulfed her light soul, making her feel weak, and her shoulder throbbed dangerously. This alone time aloud her to think, and to cower in the Toltican's power. Y'man had been right to hate the dragons, as she was now.

Through the night the Pendragrif could barely make out the spiraling mass through the thick of white that was beginning to cloud her vision. The snow was restless, mixing with already falling rain, and making her wings, cold, wet, and frozen. her inner fire flickered and threatened to subside. It took every effort within her body to keep the lightning at bay. She needed to call on it and keep it from killing her. The Toltican must die. The thoughts of his black heart tainting the power of her light energy sent a shuddered crisp bullet through her soul and mind. It made her nauseate and become light headed. Suddenly the Toltican was on top of her again. He had the habit of doing so, and a silver wall came rushing towards her. There was no power within her to protect her icy feathers, the only thing that would even remotely help her now was the slight ice on her feathers. The smell of burning flesh, feather, and scale drew into her nose, thick and pungent. It made her body heave from side to side, threatening to lose conscience to the darkness. For a moment she let the darkness engulf her, but then the sudden onset of pain welled up. It tore through her mind like a knife slicing skin, making her mind scream and curse in the agony. It wished for death, wished for the burning and the pain to cease. It was something she had never felt before, not this intense. For in this instant the Pendragrif was near sure she would die. Letting out her soul she let the flame engulf her body and did not try to stop it. The fire licked menacingly at her feathers, even the fire in her body could not stop it. Her throat was heavy with smoke, till she choked and could not longer breathe. Her mind faded for a second and she stagger madly, trying to rid the flames.

For how long she lost consciencness she didn't know, but when she awoke the forest was suddenly ablaze. She let out a scream of terror. She had never felt anything for the plains, but for Y'man? She couldn't let her die, never. This sudden burst of adrenaline kept her body moving. Her muscles tore out and the burnt flesh and feathers crumbled into dust as she slowly moved. A voice pierced her ears, the voice of the dragon that caused her such pain. The anger welled inside of her, taking control; the fire in her eyes flickered upwards again and engulfed her pupils. Summing up what little life she had left she gritted her beat and teeth together, grating them to make a harsh chalk sound. She released her hold on the lightning just as the Toltican's left clawed foot struck the ground. However, his movements were quick and her aim was bewildered and untrue. The lightning struck his wings, instead of his back and the brief second of ground contact didn't let the lightning travel through to his heart. She watched him go into shock as she herself drifted from conscieneness into misery.

Y'man let out a scream as she saw the flames tearing through the forest after her. She froze for a moment unsure of what to do and then in a sudden realization, knew her only option was to run. He quickly brought her long sleeved wardrobe up to cover her face, crying as the ashes of the flaming trees stung and burned her cheeks. She needed Storm here now, or life was sure to end for her. Her flesh would burn as the forest leaves were, the dragons hot fire would last for much longer than any other. There seemed no break in the clouds or the smoke, it began to choke her.

Her breath came in short gasps and she faltered in her footsteps. Ahead of her, the bright flames weren't penetrating something. She couldn't quite place it and out of desperation she ran towards it. Out of pure dumb luck she ran straight into a random cave hovering randomly in the rock outcroppings of the forest. There, she would be safe from the fire and she ventured far into it, before collapsing, dimly lit by the feint glow of the outside fire.

Storm stood examining the effects of the wound on the Toltican. Her body could barely move and she knew that it was hopless for Y'man. She had done a fair number to him, but she had wanted him dead and had now come to finish him off. yet there was something gripping at the base of her soul that wouldn't let her do it. She couldn't destroy what was left of his helpless body. She just couldn't. She would wait till he awoke. Animals had flown from the woods in great amounts and she had quickly ended the life of one that had ventured to near. There would be food for the Toltican when he awoke and she would be there to keep him in check. He was intriguing, despite her natural hate of his dark prowess. Having her true mindset about her she would have ripped his throat out, but she was in delirium and her mind was thinking differently that what normally befit her.

((Yeah, but compared to some, 2 paragraphs is major!!! Don't worry about the Aershaa RP, I know you'll get round to it soon. Hm... I see a possible friendship blossom here if Husa doesn't go stupid again XD))

Husa's subconscience started to filter through some of the happenings outside his body, the permenant ache and tantrum of overstretched muscles making him fluctuate between awake and wrapped in darkness, but his body would not listen to what his brain told it. He didn't like being here, prone to the whole world. He could see in his Power's Sight the bright glow of the Pendragif standing close, and wondered why she was still hovering around, having not killed him. He knew she was angry, he could feel it, but there were other emotions falling around her barriers, and Husa gently feed from them, gaining a little strength. He needed proper substanance, but until the female left him be, he couldn't eat or drink. The snow lay in a soft film over his scales as his internal body heat from his fire power heated him, the bottom layer melting and forming ice too quickly for him to melt it off. Husa grumbled audiably, his now completely red, glowing eyes focusing on the clearing horizon. Bloody electricity. How dare it attack him. His tail lashed once, the five blades opening and snapping shut as he started to gain control of his muscles again. He turned his heavy head so one eye could fix on the female, lip lifting a little as pain shot through him from his wing.

"Why didn't you finish me?" His completely red eye looked down at the multitude of dead forest creatures, their bodies wierdly grotesque as the flames of his Power danced in the night sky, reaching up to the dawning sun to block it out. "You won. It is your duty to finish me." His Power reached out for the fire that was enveloping even the wet wood, and trhe flames danced silver black before bursting into Black Mist, swirling up into the shape of a Toltican and entering Husa's body. Husa's eyes flashed silver once, and then died back to their red colour. His body rejuvinated by the surge of fire Power, Husa pushed himself up onto his forelegs, the left wing with the hole in it dragging by his side. He turned to face the Pendragif, knowing her face would hold a mixture of pride at her win, and possible discontent for him still living. His long pick tongue swirled out over teeth and lips, before he held out the injured wing and inspected the hole, face crunching into a wince as pain hurtled up the many nerves that filled the thin membrane. Sighing heavily and attempting to tuck it into his side, he inclined his head at the wood, feeling the life linked to Storm's in there. "She lives you know. Your humanoid. She's deep in there... but alive." He turned his gaze onto the female as the snow started to steam on his back once more, the Black Mist starting to pool around his ankles and silver crown of spikes. The female looked singed but fine, and she was pretty in the early dawn light. Feeling suddenly guilty, a feeling he had not felt in many hundreds of years, Husa looked away.

"I'm sorry, Pendragif. I did not mean for our fight to extend to the point of really hurting you." His gaze fell to the heavily bleeding shoulder, letting Black Mist reach towards it. He knew Light's were meant to have some pretty good healing Powers, but he had come to find that his Black Mist could be used as a kind of pad to stop blood leaving the body, and stop infection. Whether it would react badly to the Light of Flame Pendragif's own Power, Husa cared little for, but he would not have her bleed to death. The Black Mist curled around the hunk of missing shoulder and formed a silver glowing barrier as it mixed with the light Power within her. "Leave it alone and it should heal." The Black Mist had already done the same to his injured wing, glowing red with his fire Power. Husa stood a little shakily. Stretching his wings and limbs, muscles and bones popping with the effort, Husa shook out his body, ice and water showering off of his smooth scaled hide. Turning from the female, the Toltican grabbed the dead woodland creature into his massive jaws and threw his head back, swallowing it all whole. He cared little for whether it was to be eatten by her or her humanoid, he had needed it, and he had eatten it. Laying back on his side as his legs threatened to give way, the Toltican grumbled deep in his chest.

"This is no way for you to see me. You will see the weakness, not the powerful beast I should portray to you." Husa growled, turned head facing the rising sun with distaste. His eyes closed against the image and he grumbled again, the earth beneath him vibrating with the power in that sound. "You fight well." Husa growled out. He knew there was nothing more he could do but speak to this creature, as he could not work the leagues to his home caves that he hibernated in throughout the winter months. He might as well speak with the female, as there was no other way he could get away from her until she left.
