Chapter Info
Rating: Again, between G and T
Characters: Minoru and Yuzuki
Author Note: Minoru x Yuzuki is one of my favourite pairing, so deal.
She was always there for me...
Looking out for me...
I guess I was in denial when she left,
and that's why I created her...
She was to replace her,
but after awhile, I found so much more than a replacement.
"Lord Minoru?" A beautiful, purple haired, persocom called. She looked to her master with worry in her eyes.
The younge boy snapped out of his thoughts, joining his persocom in the real world. "Yes Yuzuki?"
"Are you alright m'lord?"
"Ofcourse, I was just lost in thoughts, that's all." He replied with a reassuring smile. "And please, stop being so formal, it's Minoru."
He picked up a paddle to helped her row the small boat to shore.
It had been a wonderful day in the park, he was always so glad to be able to go out with Yuzuki, and he could see she was glad as well.
"Oh L-." She hesitated, "Minoru, please, allow me"
"Yuzuki..." He frowned slightly, anyone who had not known him enough wouldn't catch it, but it was there.
"Did I upset you...?"
The persocom cocked her head, looking towards him with confusion. What did he mean? Had she done something wrong?
She searched through her data to look for what to say, but found nothing that fit with the situation.
"I'm sorry, but I don't understand..."
Minoru laughed and placed a hand on hers, giving it a light squeeze, he shook his head.
"I didn't mean today. That day, when I told you..." He trailed off, it was a horrible memory, he thought that day he was going to lose someone so precious to him.
"When I told you, you're not my sister." He finished, looking away.
Yuzuki frowned, taking his hand, she held it closer to her.
"Lord Minoru, you could never upset me."
That was not the answer he wanted, however, it was just something to comfort him, thus she continued.
"The truth is, that day, I was shocked... I have always tried to be as close to being your sister as possible, for that was what seemed right. When you fainted, it troubled me greatly, I thought that your sister would not have let such a thing happen."
Minoru looked at her with such sorrow. If persocoms could really feel this way, was it fair to call them machine? Would a machine try so hard to make you happy?
"So you were upset?" He repeated.
Yuzuki simply shook her head. "No Lord Minoru, I was anything but upset."
"But you tried so hard to replace her, when I told you you were not my sister, surely, you were not happy." He insisted.
"Yes, that was what I thought at the moment."
Minoru frowned, he knew that was the case, but she went on.
"Then, I thought about it some more. Lord Minoru, no one could ever replace your sister, she was unique... As much as it saddens me, I couldn't change that, but I also realized something else. That day, you showed me I had a place in your heart, and that made me very happy."
That seemed like something his sister would say, yes, but that was not why it made him smile
"I hope I have a place in your heart as well Yuzuki."
The persocom stared wide eyed at her owner.
"I..."
She smiled but said nothing, there was nothing that was needed to be said, for it was understood between the two.
"Lord Minoru?"
"Yes?"
"In my heart, there is nothing but you."
A tear ran down Minoru's cheek as he leaned forward and held her in his arms.
He had looked for something to replace his sister, but he didn't find it, he found something better.
