It sort of mentioned there were monsters and vicious creatures in there, but it never states exactly what did happen in there. I have a morbid curiosity in that sense. I wonder if they were the ones that butchered the Sentinel's hair. I notice her hair is different and she grew horns after being in there for so long. Her eyes also got ringed but that might be to symbolize her insanity or Jack's spell on her. It also mentioned she heard voices whisper to her. So discuss!!!

Considering that it is called Azrael's Trickbox and there are strong connections between the Gaian Azrael and Lucifer's biblical story, I think it is safe to come to the conclusion that it would the closest to a Gaian hell. Fire, brimstone and pitchforks? Or rather she could be schizophrenic.
Although Jack was quick to dismiss Azrael during the tryouts, so it is another theory that perhaps that it was, in fact, Jack's Trickbox to begin with. He is, after all, the king of Halloween and Azrael could have been hired to help out with the story after all.
Also, from my understanding of the manga, both the Sentinel and the Overseer were warped during their clash of powers - that being when she should have gotten the horns, crazy eyes and hair. So that was before that she was trapped into the trickbox?
From the backlash, I don't think it's too farfetched to think the trickbox was created by the Sentinel herself? They did both have the powers of creation, so they could be her monsters.

I was rambling.
Short version is I think it should be called Sentinel's Trickbox rightfully, and I am almost positive that she did the craziness to herself.

Can't help but think Azrael still has a role to play in all of this...

I think the Overseer made the box, yet the Sentinel made the creatures in it. Both meant to trap the other in it, but it was the Sentinel who got caught, and the box rebounded and put him in his shell.

iGrunny E M O I think the Overseer made the box, yet the Sentinel made the creatures in it. Both meant to trap the other in it, but it was the Sentinel who got caught, and the box rebounded and put him in his shell. That's...actually an interesting theory.

I always thought that the Trickbox was just a representation of the Sentinel's own personality made physical by the powers of creation she attempted to use against the Overseer, just in the same way the Overseer's clammy form was a reflection of his own personality...
It's interesting the suggestion that she made the demons that plagued her all that time. Both deities were trapped, but the idea that the creatures who tormented her all that time were demons and conflict from within her own mind is fascinating. She's a very interesting, if completely unstable character, in contrast to the Overseer who found a sense of peace within himself.
