In an alcove to one side of the entrance, Absynthe - the bouncer for The Midnight Rose - is watching everything carefully while she works out with a set of small weights.
Well, the weights aren't exactly small. The short bar she's doing one-handed curls with weighs about five hundred pounds and looks awkward as hell, but she doesn't seem to be having a problem with it.
(Absynthe is pretty strong, even for a vampire.)
