I was just wondering if anyone had any advice on how to quit drinking and smoking weed. Because I really want to stop, but even though I want to stop I want to do drugs too. It is really confusing and I guess you could say I am addicted but I do not feel that way. Because I know I can stop I just don't want to and want to at the same time lol.

It's very hard to quit things like that. What you really need to do, is just cut back little by little, and ween yourself off of them. Now, you will never be able to fix the damage you have already done to your body, but if you stop now, no more damage can be made.

If you want to stop, flush your remaining stock and stop. Marijuana is not going to do you any long term damage and it is not physically addictive, so you won't suffer any pain coming off.
The important part is to look in and find out why you were smoking so much pot and then think about why you want to stop, I used it to calm myself and interact with others because I've got anxiety problems. I didn't feel this was the right way to use it and stopped.
I have since come to the conclusion that without the right intention, smoking pot leads you to procrastination, overeating, and general foolishness. It is an active drug in that it enhances experiences, so smoking and going on a hike is different than smoking and then looking at lolcats all night. They are products of what feels like an entirely different drug.
If you don't know why you want to stop, you won't. That is the only advice I can give.

i occasionally use drugs. they aren't my thing, but i find that i use them and think through concepts that i have already visited to try and test myself outside of the box we create with our thinking. in short, i come up with some concept a different way or more detailed and make it happen in artwork.
i do agree with seraphsody, if there is no reason then why not? good luck my friend.

do it cold turkey. if you have an addictive personality, thats the only way you will cucceed.
Try to find new stuff to do, that keeps you occupied - any hobbies you're interested in, etc. Try to not do the things you do that usually involve drinking and smoking. If you're used to smoking weed while you listen to music, quit doing that for a while until you have cleared the habit out of your system.
I know it's hard, I'm trying to quit cigarettes.
Good luck!

You can quit marijuana cold turkey, but quitting alcohol can be much more dangerous if you are addicted. Wean yourself off the alcohol by limiting the number of occasions when you drink, and the number of drinks you consume when you do drink. Just get rid of the pot and marijuana paraphernalia, and don't hang out with people who are smoking it. Out of sight, out of mind.
