Summarys

Meet Jane Doe:
After her entanglements with Senator Perrin and the DC Dollhouse, Echo finds herself out in the world-at-large as she struggles to control her multiple memory downloads. Topher discovers the dangers of science that will have devastating effects on the future, while Adelle engages in a power struggle with Harding (guest star Keith Carradine).

A Love Supreme:
When Echo’s past romantic engagements are found murdered, the Dollhouse fears that Alpha (Alan Tudyk) has returned to seek his revenge. Adelle grows suspicious of Ballard (Tahmoh Penikett) who hopes to find allies in Boyd (Harry Lennix) and Topher. The Actives turn against their handlers, leaving one member of the house permanently mind-wiped.

My television signal went screwy so my friends and I missed half of the first episode that aired tonight (7 right?) and the good parts still had glitches that cut off words and a whole line of dialogue from Alpha to Ballard. Enough ranting about the evils of technology. Oh wait! Tech is evil and Topher was trying to do the right thing. I wanted to strangle Adelle!!! (EPITAPH 1 spoiler directly ahead). It's her fault Rossem(sp) used the tech to screw over the entire world, not Topher's, so why does he have to be crazy? Well, besides the part where Joss has some awesome insane people like ensouled Spike <3 I'm digressing. (SPOILER ALERT OVER) I LOVED Alpha in this last episode. I'm surprised he took Ballard's personality though. Joss's shows always throw me through a loop (my predictions are always wrong). Ballard/Boyd/Topher dynamic is great too. Beautifully written. I got a laugh out of Topher programming everyone as his assistants as well. One more thing I loved, the ending with Echo being Rebecca saying how you never move past the death of a love, that it becomes a part of you. That was another beautiful scene and it's so true, which is what a lot of people seem not to realize.

They never did say Ballard was dead... Okay, they did, but he's not dead. Only brain dead. The previews for next week seem to show Echo going to the Attic to try to help him. Also if you've seen Epitaph 1, you know this isn't the end of Paul Ballard.

Also, ratings are in. These two episodes did better then last week with 2.41 million.

I'm really hoping Ballard's going to be okay, I've got somewhat of a little crush on the guy simply due to his actions, his whole hero type thing. So to see him getting messed up like that? Agh, the pain. I may or may not have cried.

But yeah, these episodes broke my heart. Hate the Echo/Paul subtext going on there, I don't like that at all. I'm clinging to the fact it seems very one-sided.

I wasn't sure about Alpha this time round, I wasn't too keen on him in this one. He seemed a little like he'd been thrown in there without any real rhyme or reason. The episode was good but considering how major Alpha was last season, just throwing him in this time round didn't work so well for me. Just me?

The first one was interesting.

Alpha coming back was great. Loved Echo making the distinction between herself and Caroline too.
