This is just my personal opinion but I think EMO music is just stupid.
"I cut myself because my boyfriend doesn't E-love me".
It's just really retarded depressing songs with terrible lyrics.
Why listen to that when you have AWESOME ska music to listen to that makes you happy?

I think emo is just a dumb phase that's going through. Trust me, in a few more years another phase will appear that is most likely going to be equally as dumb as emo trend thingy.
As to the poll. SOME pop is good/not-bad. NO emo is good. All emo is s**t.

it really sucks though when EVERY ONE YOU KNOW listens to emo... well most people i know that is. Seriously one of the exuse i got from some one is that "it helps me when im depressed" i don't get how depressing emo music helps.

Oh, emo sucks, for sure. And all the kids at my school are emo now, so it really sucks.
At least they don't listen to ska. I hate them, I don't want them listening to Voo Doo Glow Skulls.
(I just bought the Ska is Dead tickets last night! Score!)
