Forgive me if I've made a mistake, but this is the only way I know to attempt to address you. I want to be as respectful to you as posible. I did read the rules, but I didn't know what else to do, since it wasn't possible for me to contact you directly. I also didn't want to create a random thread, like I have now. How am I to ask next time, so I know?

I don't see how asking if I was eligible was against that topic, to be honest. I wasn't discussing the mere idea of it or spam posting, and I was really polite to boot. I was making a direct inquiry to you regarding the position of guild captain.

My original question: I don't know anything about being a guild captain. Are noobs to guild management still eligible? I was interested when I first saw the announcement, but I decided not to try out because I don't know how to run a guild. I still am interested in applying for the position (writing the essay) but I don't want to waste your time if I'm not eligible.
