Simple enough, review a game you rented/bought/played/seen/created or state reasons about what you think about a game and tell the Guild all about it.
If you can, send us a link to any websites that relate to the game.
Out of boredom I decided to create this thread to tell you all about the Videogames that I have been playing recently and how they stack up to what I've played earlier.
But hey, feel free to post your own ideals and opinions about other peoples reviews!
Also try to put in any/all of these things, heck feel free to copy this and fill it in:
Today Your name here reviews:
Game Name and Type: Is it an RPG,fighting, shooter, puzzle, multi genre
What's new: New features or cool new system effects (Like the mario paint mouse)

Shadow of the Colossus gets a 10 from me. I can play that game over and over and over! It has a good plot, an excellent world that you can just run and run and run around in, not to mention killing giant monsters!

Today Matt reviews:
Borderlands!
This game is an RPG Shooter. Confused already? Read on!
What's new:
Since it's the first of it's kind let me explain: Firstly and fore mostly it's a shooter, and a good one at that. It's controls are extremely similar to that of the Halo series so Halo fans will get into this quick.
The difference here though is that almost everything is randomized or customizable.
Weapons are a big role and depending on the character type you choose (I love the Soldier and Hunter) you can specialize in certain combat techniques.
But the games weapon system is similar to Diablos! Almost a sheer ripoff.
Basically the weapons come in 5 classes of colors. There aren't really names for them so I'll make some up: White are Common, these are basic weapons and have no real spectacular stats. Green is uncommon, they're worth more and usually have an enhancement in one of the guns stats. (Higher accuracy or rate of fire) Blue is rare, they're worth lots and are dropped by tougher enemies most oftenly mission bosses. Purple are super rare weapons, they are often enhanced out the a** with something spectacular. Rejoice when you find your favorite gun replaced by one of these! Orange are unique, basically they're weapons that are made to these specific specs. They never differ, except when you go through another playthrough.
What they did right:
Re-playability. There's lots! Just going back to kill a boss and seeing how his character specific weapon differs can be fun.
What they did wrong:
The story was too short and didn't really go anywhere. In fact there isn't much of a story at all in this game. So if that's something you look for in a shooting game then you're prolly out of luck.
What's changed:
RPG elements are fun, if you want to re-allocate your skill set you can for a small fee depending on your level.
Recomended for:
Halo/RPG fans. They'll get into this quick and probably finish it too. But before you brag to your friends that you beat the game by yourself. Do it with 3+ people. The enemies get ridiculously hard and require team tactics to complete now.
Overall rating: 8/10 I liked it but the lack of story made the game basically a lack luster shoot' em' up.
