Ever have a movie you felt that people should watch? Well, why not post the title here and share it with Genpop? Doesn't matter what movie it is, you like and want to share it, post it. Just add the genre (if you know it, if not...use your own that sums up what it is), rating, and title. Also, tell us why you like it and/or why you want others to see it.

Title: Humanity's End Genre: Suspense Rating: NR (Not Rated) It's a good movie overall and tells of two other alien races that want humans extinct. Sounds to me like something at least a few members of Genpop would like, if not all. Just be careful of the sex scene halfway through. XD

I've got to add two more to the list before I forget. 1) Title: The Blind Side Genre: Comedy, Drama, Adaptation, Biopic and Sports Rating: PG-13 "Michael Oher, a homeless African-American youngster from a broken home, is taken in by the Touhys, a well-to-do white family who help him fulfill his potential. At the same time, Oher's presence in the Touhys' lives leads them to some insightful self-discoveries of their own. Living in his new environment, the teen faces a completely different set of challenges to overcome. As a football player and student, Oher works hard and, with the help of his coaches and adopted family, becomes an All-American offensive left tackle." A great movie and very worth seeing, even if you don't like sports. 2) Title: 2012 Genre: Action/Adventure, Science Fiction and Thriller Rating: PG-13 A very good, end of the world film. Californa literally falls into the ocean and Yellowstone becomes a 30 mile super volcano. Though, it's not the end of the world if you believe the Bible. The Bible states clearly that the world will end with fire and brimstone from the sky and only after a certain time. " And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come." Matthew 24:14" And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.
And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive [his] mark in his forehead, or in his hand,
The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:" Revelation 14:6-10Though, this verse does sound much like what is to be said of the coming 2012 and does happen in the movie: "And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken." Luke 21:25-26[Verses are from the Bible and found on this site: http://www.endoftheworldprophecy.com/ ]

Title: Avatar Genre: Action/Adventure and Science Fiction/Fantasy Rating: PG-13 "AVATAR takes us to a spectacular world beyond imagination, where a reluctant hero embarks on an epic adventure, ultimately fighting to save the alien world he has learned to call home. James Cameron, the Oscar-winning director of "Titanic," first conceived the film 15 years ago, when the means to realize his vision did not exist yet. Now, after four years of production, AVATAR, a live action film with a new generation of special effects, delivers a fully immersive cinematic experience of a new kind, where the revolutionary technology invented to make the film disappears into the emotion of the characters and the sweep of the story.
We enter the alien world through the eyes of Jake Sully, a former Marine confined to a wheelchair. But despite his broken body, Jake is still a warrior at heart. He is recruited to travel light years to the human outpost on Pandora, where corporations are mining a rare mineral that is the key to solving Earth's energy crisis. Because the atmosphere of Pandora is toxic, they have created the Avatar Program, in which human "drivers" have their consciousness linked to an avatar, a remotely-controlled biological body that can survive in the lethal air. These avatars are genetically engineered hybrids of human DNA mixed with DNA from the natives of Pandora... the Na'vi.
Reborn in his avatar form, Jake can walk again. He is given a mission to infiltrate the Na'vi, who have become a major obstacle to mining the precious ore. But a beautiful Na'vi female, Neytiri, saves Jake's life, and this changes everything. Jake is taken in by her clan, and learns to become one of them, which involves many tests and adventures. As Jake's relationship with his reluctant teacher Neytiri deepens, he learns to respect the Na'vi way and finally takes his place among them. Soon he will face the ultimate test as he leads them in an epic battle that will decide nothing less than the fate of an entire world." Definitely worth seeing and one of the few movies I'd like to own from the past year.
