But very eager to learn!
I have a book, but a book only goes so far. I joined this guild in hopes of meeting other pagans who could maybe teach me a thing or two c:
Any suggestions on books or website? Anyone willing to personally help me out? XD I'd greatly appreciate it~

Paganism is a very wide umbrella. So it's hard at this point to help you out without knowing what direction you'd like to go in. Unfortunately you may not know what particularly interests you if you're just starting out wink
"Paganism: an Introduction to Earth-Centred Religions" by Joyce and River Higginbotham might be a good place to start. Otherwise, what pantheons interest you so far? What elements are you looking for in a religion?
What book is it you have?

I was thinking about making a thread just like this one, also, I just finished Paganism An Introduction to Earth-Centred Religions by Joyce and River. So after that I had a pretty fond interest to druidism but after reading one of the stickies I guess all modern "neo-druids" are just rubbish? I recently started a Native American creationism book...

It's not so much that all modern "neo-druids" are rubbish, or that the things that they practice aren't valid and fulfilling paths, the main issue is that they call themselves "druids". So if it is something that interests you, I don't see why you couldn't look into it, as long as you acknowledge that the title is somewhat inappropriate.
You sort of have to be careful with books that say they are about "Native American" spiritualism, etc... There wasn't really any one specific Native American religion, as each tribe had different practices and beliefs, that could (and did) vary greatly between them. Some (if not most) of these cultures and traditions are closed to outsiders as well, so it's best to check your sources carefully whenever it comes to books that are claiming "Native American..."

These religions and spiritualities are often very fulfilling for the practitioners and all that. We have no problem with people who join OBOD or ADF or anything. Our only issue is with the misapplication of the title of "druid" wink

What book was it?
Paganism, as Sanguina said, is a very broad term for many, many faiths and practices. I've been looking into Pagan paths for years now (this guild being quite a nice help! ^^) and only recently have I begun to settle on a mixture of different forms of Paganism that feels natural and is fulfilling for me.
I hope we can help, though I'm not sure how much help I'll be. ^^
