Here is where you can learn about Balamb Garden and its history.

Ok, um, let's start with Balamb Garden information.
Founded by Cid and Edea Kramer, funded by the former NORG, Balamb Garden is the training center for SeeD. It was the first Garden built, and the only one authorized to conduct the field exams. It is located east of Balamb Town.

Commander Squall Leonheart
DOB: August 23, Age: 17. Squall is most well known for being SeeD Commander and for his efforts in defeating the Sorceress Ultimecia. His parents are Raine Loire of Winhill and Laguna Loire, President of Esthar, though he didn't realize this until later on in life. He also has an adoptive sister, Ellone.

Instructor Zell Dincht
DOB: March 17, Age: 17. Zell is energetic, confident, and very friendly. He sometimes gets in trouble with the Disciplinary Committee or the Garden Faculty for breaking some rules, but he is also excellent in mechanics and has a deep knowledge of history. He was adopted by the Dincht family in Balamb and idolizes his late grandfather, who was a legendary SeeD.

Instructor Quistis Trepe
DOB: October 4, Age: 18. Quistis is the child prodigy of Balamb Garden. She became a SeeD at 15 and an Instructor at 17. She is also the Card Club King. Though her instructor's license was revoked due to having too little dicipline, Commander Leonheart reinstated it once the battle with Ultimecia was won.

"Princess" Rinoa Heartilly
DOB: March 3, Age: 17. Daughter of General Fury Caraway and Julia Heartilly. Her mother died in a car accident when Rinoa was 5, and the bond between father and daughter grew distant. Rinoa started a resistance faction called The Timber Owls to fight against her father. Squall, Zell, and Selphie were the SeeDs assigned to help her and her cause. After that, Rinoa decided to stick with the SeeDs. After an encounter with Sorceress Edea at Galbadia Garden, Rinoa's Sorceress powers were awakened. She now resides at Balamb Garden with her Knight, Squall.

Seifer Almasy
DOB: December 22, Age: 18. Seifer is head of the Disciplinary Committee at Balamb Garden. He is Squall's rival in many ways and also weilds a Gunblade. After the defeat of Ultimecia, Seifer was found at Balamb Port with the other members of the Disciplinary Committee and was asked to return as Balamb Garden's peacekeeper.

Fujin
DOB: Unknown, Age: Unknown. Fujin is a member of the Disciplinary Committee at Balamb Garden. Not much is known about her other than she is very loyal to Seifer. Her trademark is in her speech. She is known to speak in very short, one to two word sentences, most of the time yelling.

Raijin
DOB: Unknown, Age: Unknown. Raijin is a member of the Disciplinary Committee at Balamb Garden. He is very friendly and is known for saying exactly what's on his mind. His key phrase is used at the end of most of his sentences, "ya know?" *Giggles*
