Last night.... (December 13, 2009) I couldn't sleep. I... I heard THINGS in the house. Voices, groans, whispers. And everyone was asleep but me. I FELT a presence in my bed next to me. I had to sleep with the TV on I was so terrified (Something I never do). It was foggy all night, but an unnatural fog... as if it were an ill omen of bad tidings to come.
Coupled with the spirits I had and the fact that when I woke up I felt like someone had made me swallow 2 huge rocks (I heard the voices say something about "Drakestones), last night was..... freaky.

That happens from time to time to me. We don't have close neighbors, we aren't near a busy road, yet there are times when everything is off and everyone is asleep that I hear voices or conversations. Certain times of year, certain weather seems to increase the occurrences. Weather that is hot, air that is laden with moisture (humidity) or the fluctuation between seasons seem to increase it. Those spirits and voices are likely always there it may be because of the fog and the resulting higher moisture content in the air that the vibrations or energies traveled more readily and created a stronger transmission of them.
As for the rest, it could be simply your own unease about the fog and voices that caused the lumps in your throat feeling. Or you may have been astral traveling or projecting in your sleep and something happened when you came back in or something occurred to you wherever you traveled to. I doubt the spirits in your room are responsible for the lumps, though they may have identified them. If you can try to meditate, see if you can recall anything. Perhaps use a tarot deck to give you a reading. Drakestones may have to do with dragons, so perhaps some of the members who practice dragon magic would have some more insight as to what those are.

To the one that I serve I have only had an experience like that once, and it lasted a few nights. Every one was asleep and no one was walking down the hall, yet I heard some one walking down stone hallways. It was as if there was some one there. Now this was around the time I first started to explore paganism and witchcraft, so my circle may not have been closed correctly. As such I may have invited an entity into my house with out meaning. Its possible that there is a spirit some where trying to get your attention. Or it could have been a dream. Perhaps if you expanded more on what exactly you felt we could be of more service? I will give my all

Well, I was fully awake. I was well rested the night before, and I was wide awake- around 2 AM, I looked out the window and saw a thick mist, or haze of some sort. In my room, comfort is hard to come by- in order to sleep, I need an air vent blowing hot air in my face, my window open, and my ceiling fan on (weird, I know. Whatever) well, I had all this going, the TV was off, and I was trying to sleep. For a good 30 minutes, I tried to no avail. But when I had actually turned off the TV, I saw the light outside was dimmed due to the fog, and it looked strange... it was normally bright, but it was very dim and wan that night. Well, I tried listening to music (Manners by passion Pit) as the radio was playing softly, I felt like my bed was heavier on the opposite side- as if there was a strong presence next to me. I was overcome with fear and dread- I felt that if I had looked, I would have seen the face of death itself, I was so terrified. Steeling myself, I turned and saw nothing- nothing was there, no presence, no figure, no mist or anything. But I could still feel a presence in that room, as if it wished to hurt me somehow (I must admit, I rather enjoyed the thought and the thrill of it all.) Anyways, the music kept playing- I lasted the whole album, the fear and insomnia still afflicting me. I switched the music out for Les Claypool's Of Fungi and Foe (an album that has always managed to bring sleep to me.) Well, I lasted that entire album, too- the feeling never left. When I fell asleep, there would be intervals I would wake up after having heard strange voices and whispers in the house, etc., especially in my room- centered around my bed and near my door. At these times, I would feel strange... placid, yet still terrified, as if I were in a waking dream. However, I was wid awake at these times. Now, When I finally got SLEEP sleep (More than 15 minutes before I was awakened by the voice once more) it was about 5:15 AM. I had to get up in about 45 minutes to get my brother ready for school. 6:00, I get him up. 30 minutes of sleep, before I had to wake up Mom so she could drive him to school. Well, when I hit the bed, I felt as if someone had taken their fist and shoved two large stones into my gut. The pain was unimaginable- as if the stones themselves were trying to claw their way out of my stomach. Well, I was half-conscious when I heard the voices mumble something about "Drakestones" before I had to awaken. When I did, I was still in pain. It wasn't until I got some food in my system that the pain started to subside.
And that's as detailed as I can get. confused
@Loona- I have not even begun to practice Wicca or Pagan ways as of yet, so I can't really say your situation apples to me. Thank you for your input, though. It is greatly appreciated.
All I want is answers.

I would also consider talking to your advocate/guardian/protector to see if they have any answers.

Sam Oaken Willow 17 I would also consider talking to your advocate/guardian/protector to see if they have any answers. As I said, I have yet to actually practice Wicca or any king of religion, period. have no..... "Advocate" or "Guardian".

I'll bet you do, you just don't know it yet. They usually stay in the corner unless otherwise found or talked to--though it does depend on their personality. If you would like help with finding yours, just PM me. smile
Honestly, your subconscious is more open to these sorts of things, now, so this is another reason why you could have had this happen to you.

They go around turning on lights. Closing and opening doors. and other things to

All I can say is meditate and you will find some answers. If you feel uncomfortable and scared, you should read up on cleansing and psychic protection. Most of your answers you will have to find on your own. Which I know is annoying to hear but it is very true.

I need help with meditation first, before I try anything.
I've tried, but I have what I call a "Wandering Mind"- even in times of focus, I have music and images in my head 24/7. Not only am I highly intelligent, but I'm actually Paranoid, and I'm determined to be Oversensory- meditation isn't exactly my strong point, especially when I try to focus and my clock's ticking serves only to enrage me and keep me from my goal.
Can anyone provide any advice to help with this? I think this could be the first step in finding answers to my dilemma.

Meditation isn't about no thought, it's about not attaching to the thoughts your having, instead letting them float by as they will. If you're paranoid about not being able to defend yourself while meditating, have someone watch you while you do it. You don't need to meditate for hours, I've found that it comes in 15 minute blocks. If something's distracting you, then get rid of it. Put your clock in another room, or cover it with a pillow. Make sure you're sitting in a position you can maintain for a little while, and that you like being in. Laying down is probably not the best idea, because you'll just fall asleep. I've found that, for me, the counting to ten method works the best, and if I can't get in the first time, I just do it again until I do. Sometimes it's really hard to have the patience, but it's not about getting there quickly, it's just about getting there.

Mmkay, so I open myself up, free my mind from the constrictions I have placed upon it, get rid of all distractions, and get comfortable, but not so that I doze off.....
Mmkay, I will try this once more tonight. I'll tell y'all how it goes tomorrow.
