This is simply a reminder of Gaia's ToS.
You people may post questions or comments about these rules if you like.
The No-No, must never do these rules
Rule 1
God-modding
A lot of people get this term confused. But it is a very important one. There are a few ways people can god mod.
God modding violation 1 = when you take control of another character without their permission and when their character is capable of moving. Unless its to move the story along, this is the NUMBER 1 THING NOT TO DO.
God modding violation number 2 = in a fighting scenario when you do not allow hits to succeed OR when you are NOT allowing the other a chance to fight.
God modding violation # 3 = in a Dragonball Z scenario, you cannot have moves that allow for violation #1 to occur. An example of this is Absorption. In the games and on the show, when Majin Buu absorbed a fighter, that fighter was gone! Turning someone into chocolate is god modding no matter how yummy the idea sounds.
Breaking the PG 13 rule
Another common one that is easily broken.
Defining PG 13 = Parental guidance for teens.
If one has pictures of someone's head being chopped off, that could seriously scare someone if they show the blood too.
My dream about Terry and the emergency heart transplant is a rated R scene if told properly, that would be its rating because of the graphics it contains. It would scare almost anyone.
Partial nudity is allowed, but not full nudity. The wedding in the bathtub is PG 13 because the water would hide the privates that would violate the rating.
The topic of gays and lesbians is borderline of this rule too.
Trolling
The biggest violation broken in my books.
The only exception to this rule is when you are in a roleplay and you are in character.
Trolling includes = making fun of stereotypes like blondes, making fun of an individual no matter how lame you think they are like making fun of Chuck Norris, accepting a guild invitation and then never posting whatsoever.
You ask how is accepting a guild invitation then never posting a trolling violation?
Its ignorance towards the Captain.
For those of you who own guilds and had their guilds die, well, its because of this very violation. People join guilds without even looking at them and then not posting.
I put bump threads in every guild that I own so that there is at least some activity when they join.
A person can always wait for something interesting to show, or they can always make a suggestion about what they want to see in the guild they are in, and if they are the type with a super busy schedule, the bump thread allows for quick posting and it counts.
The NPC of Gaia Guilds known as Commander Leon always says that owning a guild takes a lot of responsibility. It makes it that much harder to run when you have people who are being ignorant, doesn't it?
This is why when you accept a guild invite or send an invitation you MUST post something. Otherwise its considered Trolling.
Hackers
People taking control of other gaian accounts without their knowledge or permission.
Any guild member caught doing this will be reported. A friend of mine did get hacked and was unable to get her account back due to a hacker, which is why I am placing this rule in this guild.
To know if you are going to being hacked
Someone will say = you can make (insert amount here) gold in (insert time limit here) just follow this link.
Someone will say = your account has been...
Someone will say = I am a gaia moderator and ....
These three scenario starts are easy clues to a hacker! (I am an easy target and I got every hacker that ever tried breaking into my account.)
An extra security measure
I have many alts. So many that even if a hacker were to gain access to the one account there is another one that can get rid of the scumbag.
The fighter's union
King of Fighters, Naruto, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Dragonball Z (Kingdom hearts may be included also)
