I've seen them around and I've heard that they help a LOT, but I have no clue on how to make one without posting just the lik to it. I've seen people just write GLOW or something like that...but I don't know how to do that... Help?

You're not alone, I've been wondering this myself. How is it helpful to have people just bump your thread? It's helpful when the tank glows of course, but people keep bumping even when it's not. Meanwhile, NOBODY is tapping - and THAT'S what makes it glow.
I always tap the tanks I see in the forums, and especially take the time to browse through the threads in these aquarium-themed guilds to tap everyone's tanks. Seems to me it would be most helpful if we had tank-tapping threads in these guilds to encourage glow, Bumping in itself does nothing if tanks aren't being tapped.
Unless I have it completely wrong and am not understanding how these tanks work, or what makes them glow. That is completely possible... but as I understand it, it is the tapping that makes tanks glow? Is this correct?
And having said all that.. this thread was originally posted in december 2009 and has never gotten any replies. That does not instill my confidence in this guild...
