I say Knoll, Canas is a nerd, I don't like nerds, lol. Also Knoll's personality is way kooler. Canas acts all smart and like he knows everything, I don't like people like that. And also, I don't think I've ever seen a guy with bright purple hair, lol. I wonder is he's gay (I don't have anything against gay people, I actually have a gay friend.) O wait, he has a wife, maybye bie??
And remember, I don't have anything against bie's or gays, as I said I have a bie friend.

Well, Since everyone favored Knoll, poor Canas is sad....I will say something in Canas' defence then XD
Canas is the only user capable of using dark Magic except Athos that you can get. So that means, if you want a dark magic user in FE7 you have no choice but to use Canas. In FE8, you can promot Ewan to shaman. Also, at the chapter that Canas joins you, he is usable with his level. Knoll kinda joins you 10 level lower then your other unit which make him very vunerable at that chappy. (I often raise him to level 16 in the sand chapter XD)
Well, I prefer Knoll because ....well...He is more handsome and I like his personality. Also his supports is directly attached to the main plot except the one he have with Lute.... Knoll is a nice unit. He got better magic then Canas (not sure, I need to check the growth and starting stats but I think that Knoll's mag growth is 50%...forgot about Canas') Knoll just need more defence XD...I don't care about luck XD

I never played Ephraim's story so I never knew what part Knoll plays in the main plot. I just read that he "Knows the riddle of the Dark Stone" Wha!?

Basically, he is one of the closest person to Lyon and knew his motifs and etc. He knew about what Lyon went though, his father's death and his desicions .... If you played Ephraim,s route, he says more about the main plot when you get him......

btw...if you want spoiler. Highlight below (I wrote it in white)
Spoiler : In Natasha and Knoll's support. It is revealed that there will be a earthquake that will destroy most of Grado. Lyon saw this future though the sacred stone and was searching for a way to prevent this disaster ...then he turned towards the Dark stone. I don't know if it's the demon playing tricks on Lyon and gave him a fake vision or it is the future of Grado..... Well, that was the motif.....
