The Castle Ballroom, the very center of numerous social gatherings, is the most ornate and intricate ballroom in the world.
The floor is made of dark mahogany wood, with chairs lining either side of the dance floor made of the same wood, each of which has finely detailed gold trimming in patterns resembling different magics. In brilliant gold, the crests of each of the four elements are traced on each corner of the floor, with detailed and wavy regal patterns separating them.
Between each group of chairs there are large pillars up to the roof. They are colored to match the same mahogany and gold patterns on the floor. There are crimson red ribbons wrapped around the pillars, and hanging from the balconies overhead.
The balconies are small by comparison to the rest of the ballroom, only protruding about six feet from each wall. The railings use the same gold and mahogany pattern as the rest of the room, with red banners hanging between the pillars below. The carpeting is dark red with straight, solid gold lines on the border.
The staircase leading down to the dance floor also has solid dark crimson carpeting with solid gold lines on either side. The giant double doors leading into the room are made of very red wood with golden door handles and have the crests of the four elements in gold.

Stel walked down the stairs of the ballroom, careful not to step on the bottom of her dress. She was dressed in a long, flowing green gown with various colored flowers embroidered around it. Lilies, roses, lilacs, and much more. The dress was velvet with different shades of green. Her hair was clean of moss, especially for the occasion. The black locks of hair were curled, running down her shoulders with one rose on the right side. Her makeup was done to make her seem alive, not the zombie she was. All together, she was a wonderous and beautiful site, as if Earth itself.

Orin stepped into the ballroom, and glanced around. The gold colors were a bit intense, but he got used to it eventualy. He saw the girl that was struggling with books in the library, but diddn't speak to her. He walked to one of the chairs near the crest of Fire, and sat and pulled out the book he was borrowing from the queen, and began to read. He wasn't ashamed at all he hadn't bought any new cloths, but his armor and blade were polished to a shine, as to not disrespect the King and Queen.

Queen Ashe gracefully entered the grand ballroom from one of the large staircases that led to the upstairs quarters. Her dress was befitting a queen as expected. Her dress enticed with it's black satin and red trim. It flowed out behind her as it she was wearing smoke as opposed to fabric. Small jewels only covered her bodice and fingers of her elbow length gloves. Her hair was long and blond, and now it was pulled back in an updo at the nape of her neck. All that adorned her head was her crown with a large ruby in the center, matching ruby earrings. One of the castle guards announced "Her Majesty the Queen!" All present were expected to rise and bow as she began her descent down the stairs to join the party.

Orin quickly stood, stowing his book, and extending his red wings from his back, bowed deepy, as his wings slightly forward and down, forllowing the arch of his bow. He qickly shot a glance at the boy who had sat near him, a warning to rise or, he would be in a world of trouble.

Not much of a bowing type person, Stel nodded her head in respect instead. She knew the queen wouldn't get mad at her since she's done it before. She wasn't sure when she would be allowed to sit down, since she usually wasn't that involved in these sort of things. So Stel stood there, waiting to see if anyone else would sit since Ashe had already announced her presence. Though she was clean for once, she felt dirty and bare without her usual garments.

((Sorry about the "man" thing. Not many characters are children, and about being tight with Illusion, Orin dosen't know that, he just thinks Takunta is a (child) person invited to the royal ball. Plus, Illusion isn't the Queen. Ashe is.))
Orin sat again after seeing everyone had honered the queen, Orin sat and placed his right index and middle fingers to his right temple, and reached out to Illusion, avoiding the mind of the queen, though her mental pressence was so strong, a bit of the message trickled through. He knew the air princess would be in the Air tower, so he looked in that direction first. When he found her he thought to her, The Queen has arrived in the ballroom, though there aren't many guests. I suggest you hurry.

((... really? I know he's a kid, but seriously? rolleyes ))
Orin looked at the boy for a moment, a blank, hard stare. LOOKS LIKE THE OTHER GUESTS ARE NOT TO INTELLEGENT. Orin chuckled, at the confusion of the boy, and simply said, "Just getting in touch with a friend."
