In all seriousness, everyone, We need to Recruit. Our numbers are low, and activity is high. We need to do something with the High Activity, and the most productive thing to do is Recruit.

THIS RECRUITING DRIVE NEEDS TO BE MASSIVE. We have 5 active crew now. We can handle massive numbers. In a short time, we'll have ID Cards back into production. We've decided on a THEME SONG! (If THAT'S not good for Advertising, I don't know what is...)

Plus, Many of our members who are currently in school are getting time off for the Holidays. Time off that, at least in part, could be used to advance the League.


Now, Here's how this is going to work:
Gear and I are going to be working as Wildcards. We'll be Recruiting, We'll be organizing the Guild, we'll be Finding missions, We'll be doing everything we can.

Kane and Sagi are going to primarily be focusing on the Guild Itself. They'll be Directing Newbies, Answering Questions, and overall Watching the place. IF A QUESTION NEEDS TO BE ANSWERED and you don't know it, Alert one of them. They'll take care of it.

K' and Xeg (Despite the fact that Xeg is not a Crew Member) will be focusing on External work. They'll be leading the Recruiting, they'll be searching for Missions, etc...


As for Everyone else, I have an Incentive for you to recruit:
For recruiting people, you get gold. You get paid for each individual new member that you've recruited. The first 5 people are worth 150 gold each. The Next 5 people (6-10) are worth 200 each. And the third 5 people (11-15) are worth 250 each. That's 3000 gold for 15 recruits. But wait, there's more. Every Additional person after that is 350 gold, and at 20 people, you get a Bonus of 1000. For recruiting 20 people, you get 5750 gold. And if you reach 30 people, the amount is over 9000.

30 People=9000 gold. That's what I like to call an Incentive.

Also, every approved mission that you bring in is worth 500 gold. Just another little add-on.

As for how you CLAIM your gold, it's simple. In a few minutes I'll put together a Sticky in the Department of War and Missions. The Instructions will be there.

Now, as for how you actually Recruit, the Department of Advertising has your back. At the Department of Advertising, We've got a large collection of Various Banners for your posts, PMs, or Signatures. For example,


Yeah. We've stocked up a few.

Under each Banner in the department of Advertising is a Code, which can be used to implant the banner at the Top, Bottom, or Middle of your post, or right in your Signature.

But Wait, there's MORE! We also have a fair few Skeleton Posts at your disposal. All you have to do is Copy/Paste it and Fill in the Blanks! You can go ahead and type up a post yourself, of course, but if that's not your style, go ahead and use our Skeleton Posts. Just be sure to stick around for a few minutes, so as to answer questions and direct them to the league.

I will note one thing, primarily in response to Kamui's first post: Be Selective in who you talk to about the League. We're in our Infant stages. (Well, now I'd say toddler or preschooler, but you get the Idea.) We need to find people to form a Strong Core of the League, people who'll stick around and be active. Many of our current members are exactly that, which is why they're still here. People who wouldn't mind devoting themselves, at least a tiny bit, to the League, but also people who have a skill to offer, for example, RPing. Be selective in who you approach. If they seem like people who're good RPer's, see if they're interested in the Idea of getting paid, or Paying, for Skilled Roleplaying. If they are, then reel them in, cuz you just hooked a nice fish.

We also need to find missions, the likes of which WE like. Not many of us find the Idea of a Romantic RP extremely interesting, but would LOVE to be in an Action/Adventure or Sci-Fi RP. So, when looking for potential missions, That's your Criteria. Once you've found something that meets the Criteria, ask them if they're interested in hiring RPer's. If you want, I might be able to find and quote a conversation that would provide a good example.

Now, enough lecturing. You didn't join the League for that. Now, go out and Recruit. And REMEMBER: Report your Recruits in the Department of War and Missions!

As for a price, if it's RP, the price goes by rank. Go with an approximate, that being:
3000 gold per month for Alpha's, the best of the best.
2000 g/m for Bravo's, the best of the rest.
1000 g/m for Charlie's, the Average folk.
500 g/m for Delta's, who need some work.

Recruiting is not equal to spamming. All you need to do is look for the folk who would be interested in the League. People who search for one x ones are often a good pick, try them.

actually I just had an idea, since a lot of us have these nifty ID cards that we like in our signatures, why don't we make them into links for the league? It's easy advertisement. All it takes is one click. I see that wielder already thought of that, but everyone should be doing it. We need to work on the layout a little so that the rank doesn't clash with the insignia... maybe I'll talk to barlog about that.
