So, this is my first attempt at a faceup. I'm not happy with a few things, namely the quality of the eyeliner (store is out of liquitex flow aid... once I have that, it should work out much better) and her lips.... which I just can't seem to do. I've read a load of tutorials and... no matter how much I try and build up the pastels, they just don't turn out right. I wanted a pinkish hue, darker in the center and lighter on the sides, little lip lines and full lips without being unnatural - like she's wearing a pink-tinted lip gloss.
Hmm. If anyone has suggestions, that would be welcome. Right now I'm using really nice pastels and watercolors, really tiny brushes, medium brushes, and larger brushes, and gloss medium.
And I still need to put her eyelashes in. Little alien girl.
Also, her eyes are like... blue/yellow.... not lavender/pink/purple - so, that will change her face a bit too.
