With the GSF distracted by the increasing monster attacks, some people now find the opportunity to commit all kinds of crimes and get away with it. It seems as if one organisation is behind most of the crimes, and the GSF has promised a reward to whoever captures the head of this organisation.

"You think they'll get here?"
The man behind the desk was eating a sandwich. In contrast to the tall muscular man next to the desk, he was short, fat, bald, and didn't seem the least bit impatient. "Relax. They're pretty reliable. They'll be here." He said, trying to calm down the tall man.
"Hmf. Clanners. I still say this is a task for us, not those troublesome fools. They may have Clan magic, but I'd rather rely on my own cold steel than whatever tricks those misfits can summon up. At least that way I know things are being done the right way. Like my dad always used to say..."
"...If you want something done right, do it yourself." The short man interrupted "Yes, I know. I also know you'd rather wrap your hands around Metzger's neck yourself, but the fact is that we haven't got enough manpower to take on his gang right now. Besides, those Earth Clan guys are reliable. Come on man, cheer up. Just be grateful that we're not dealing with the Death Clan here" The man shudders "Remember the last time we've used their service? No, I guess you don't. That was a long time ago, before your time. Just let me tell you it wasn't pretty. Sure, they got the job done, but..." He shook his head. "No need to bring back the past. Like I said, I trust the Earth Clanners."
"I hope you're right" the tall man sighed "We can't afford any screw-ups. Not now." He turned away from the short man and towards the window of the police station. "I hope they get here before my lunchbreak. I'm hungry."

Really? So am I. *A girl of small stature poked her head into the doorway and grinned at the two men cheerfully. She bounced into view and the two men could see that she looked like a veritable twig. The brown, green and grey leathers showed that she had a thin and boyish figure almost as if she hadn't eaten in days. Her skin was ghostly white but her eyes twinkled like the stars in the sky. There was a quiver on her back and an unstrung short hunters bow slung over her left shoulder. Her hair was cropped short and she could be no taller then 5'0". She winked at the man behind the desk and walked in.*
Heyla! I'm Yves, second in command of the Earth clan. Happy to meet you! * she extended her slender hand to the men* I'm sure the others will be here shortly.

A tall man with long silver hair was walking around and looking very lost. He had been told the whereabouts of the job but had forgotten, as usual. His name was Rupin and he was from the Earth clan. He stopped suddenly as he saw someone he knew enter a nearby building. This must be the place, he thought to himself, as he wandered after Yves towards the building.

Drittz peeked his head through the door way and surveyed his surroundings. "looks to be safe" he thought to himself as he walked in. Slowly he made his way to the corner of the room and waited. His eyes were covered by his sunglasses and he wore his usual muscle shirt, pants, and boots and carried no weapons with him. All he knew was that the Earth Clan had a job to do and he wasn't going to miss it.

((OOC: Deek, could you please try to leave out the ** around your actions, and put "" around your words in stead? ))
The tall man ignored Yves' hand and turned his back on the three Clanners. "Behold, the brave protectors of our city!" He grumbled sarcastically.
The short man seemed pleased with the arrival of the Earth Clan. He got up from his chair and smiled as he shook Yves' hand. "Welcome, welcome. Yes, I'm happy to meet you as well, all of you. Please, grab a chair." The man's friendliness was exaggerated, almost comical. "Is your leader coming as well, or are you in charge of this mission?" He looked over Yves' shoulder and out of the window, trying to see if the Earth Clan's leader was standing outside.

((Since several certain someones didn't wait to be briefed and we can't be in two places at once, could you ago ahead and tell them, Dark? They might know, but the characters don't.))
"I'm right here," Replied Wiveri, who had just walked in the door. "We're almost ready to start the mission. Two more members are on their way as we speak." Wiveri pulled up a chair, sitting down.

Confused Frock followed Wiveri into a small room with a tall bitter man and a short plump man inside. "Whats going on?" Frock said ,under his breath, as he sat down onto one of the stiff chairs closest to the door. Frock put on a smile, only stopping for a moment to watch his bird. Toc was eyeballing the short man's sandwich suspiciously.

"I wish we had the time to sit and wait for your missing friends," the small man said "but I'm afraid we don't. As you may know, the GSF is more than busy these days, and every moment is precious. That is why you have been asked to do this... 'job' for us. I think it's best if we just explained the situation now, so you can inform those not present yourself." The short man nodded at the tall man "My colleague here will give you the information you need."
The tall man turned around, and looked at the Clan's leader. "Very well. If you're going to do our job, I might as well try and make sure you do it right." He grabbed a piece of paper from the desk and handed it to Wiveri. On the piece of paper was a realistic drawing of a man's face. "Your mission is to capture this man, known to us only as 'Metzger'. He is believed to be one of the key figures in the Gaian underworld. He is intelligent, powerful, and ruthless. For years he has managed to always stay a few steps ahead of us, but now that he thinks us to be distracted by the monster threat he has been less careful than he used to be. This has allowed us to gather some information that, with your help, will lead to his defeat."
The man cleared his throat before continuing. "We have learned that Metzger will make a trade with a large criminal organisation tomorrow. What he is trading, or who exactly he is trading with is unknown to us, but it doesn't matter as his capture is our main objective. We have confirmed his location, and we know that he will stay where he is at least until the time the trade will be made. You will move to that location before that time, and take him into custody. He will probably be guarded, but we do not expect any heavy resistance. Metzger himself is probably the largest threat. While he does not posess any magic powers, he is a great warrior and has already killed some of our highly skilled agents. Use whatever force necessary to subdue him, but do not kill him or anyone else. The use of lethal force is not allowed for this mission, as we need Metzger alive. You will be paid when you deliver him to us."
The man looked around the room, observing the Clanners one by one. "That is your mission. If there are no questions, I will give you the location."

"Interesting....." Frock began peering over Wiveri's shoulder to get a better look at the picture. "So where do we need to go?" Frock said light-hearted as he pondered with the possibilites of what this "Metzger" was trading. Toc was growing impatient and began to chirp loudly. "Shh....." Frock whispered "Soon we will begin!" Frock was visibly excited of this new adventure.

Drittz just stood there looking at the floor thinking to himself. Metzger huh? Well if he's a problem i'll help take care of him anyway i can he thought to himself. Abrubtly he moved over to Wiveri to see the man's face and studying it, he memorized his features. " I will not forget this face," he said. The tone of his voice had excitement in it.

((Thanks for working on the roleplaying, Drittz. Much better.)) "Shouldn't be a problem.." Wiveri mumbled, trailing off at the end. "It might be harder to avoid killing him, however. Do you mind if he's... damaged? Not fatal or anything, but he may attempt to kill himself so he won't get interrogated." Wiveri looked back up and met the eyes of the tall man as he was observing him. "Yves, did you catch all of that? If I forget, I need you to remember for me. Apart from that, though, I don't think there are any other questions.

She looked at Wiveri and back at the men with a stern face. "yeah, I got it." She knew she didn't look very intimidating but she stood tall and folded her arms out of habit.

Drittz paced about excitedly and suddenly stopped. He went and leaned against the wall and crossed his arms across his chest. Then looking at the floor he said calmly," When do we leave?" The excitement was still noticable in his voice but he fought to control it.
