Ch. 1 Comatose
Huff, huff. She panted as she ran faster. "I can't...let them...find...Ahiru!" The teen huffed. Her smooth black hair whipped against her pearly-white skin, her ruby-red eyes darting from side to side. She turned a corner, scanning the street for the things she dreaded. She sighed out of relief. A little blond head with big emerald eyes caught her attention. "Oh thank goodness..." She panted. Her motherly instincts told her to get Ahiru moving. To scream at Ahiru to run so fast not even the wind can touch her ivory skin. Her adrenaline was still pumping through her veins. Her heart pounding a mile a minute. Her head in a swirl of hormones. "Hiya Yangi!" Ahiru piped, her voice echoed in the girl's ears like a pleasant tune. Yangi slumped down on a chair, exhausted from trying to flee from--"So Yangi, want some tea? I can make you some." She smiled sweetly in that childish fashion she did so well. The girl's ruby eyes fell on the blond's cup filled with chamomile tea. "Do I really have to ask?" She smiled weakly. "Nope!" Ahiru tried to smile so as to strengthen Yangi. She felt as though she'd been through a lot. She might as well try to make her comfortable. "So what's got you so worked up?" Her big green eyes made Yangi's heart glad. "Nothing really, just running." Ahiru tilted her head. "Want something to eat?"
