When a string of murders began to happen in the city of St. Michael, no one seem to take notice. After all no one ever seems to care when the less fortunate are killed. It wasn't until the daughter of a wealthy business man was kidnapped, that it was brought to the attention of any detectives. No one one knows why she was taken. Now the only question that is left is, will the detective they assigned to the case be able to figure it out before it's too late.

Rules
-first and most importantly follow Gaia's rules and the guild's rules
-NO GOD-MODING, not only does it bother me, but it bothers other people so please avoid it if possible
-no mature content
-don't kill anyone unless they say that it's ok
-give every character a flaw or problem
-include everyone and look for other people, don't expect them to find you
-please pm characters to me and wait for my approval

Audra sturred in her sleep as she heard her phone ring. "Don't they know what time it is?" she mumbbled before grabbing the phone. "
"Hello?" she answered before hearing her coworker's voice on the other end.
"A young woman was kidnapped. Apparently she's the daughter of a major business man. We believe that the kidnapper was involved in a recent string of murders."
Audra sighed, this meant that it was high priority. They didn't know how much time they had, and they prefered to find the victim before it was too later. She looked at the clock before saying, "yeah, I be right over."

Cain stood up in the shadows staring at the girl with a light smile on his face. He hummed a Pop goes the Weasel lightly to himself as he looked at her. Once he reached the end he stopped and placed his hands on her shoulder. "So, do you know why your here?"

Nora jumped as he grabbed onto her shoulder. "Let go of me," she said, trying to break free. She didn't know why she was here, but she knew that it probably wasn't good. She had always been told to be careful when she walked home alone at night, but had never thought thought that anything would actually ever happen to her.

Cain chuckled slightly, but didn't move. "No, that's not the reason. Now can you tell me a real guess or am I going to have to make you guess," he asked with a wide grin as he continued standing behind her.

Nora struggled a bit more before realizing that it was hopless. "Because you're a creep," she said. She wasn't really sure of anything, and she didn't want to give him the satisfaction of actually guessing. She just hoped that she didn't react to quickly. After thinking about it, she knew that it wasn't the greatest idea to back talk to someone who could possibly kill her, but it was too late now.

"I don't know," Nora said, annoyed, "why don't you just tell me?" Despite how unconcerned she seemed, she was freaking out on the inside. She knew what was at stake, and the only thing that was keeping her alive was the fact that the creep was being kept entertained.

Nora couldn't think of anything, but she was starting to figure out that he was more crazy then she thought. "The problem is I don't know anything about you," she said, hoping that he would move the dagger away from her face.
