--------------------------------Prolouge--------------------------------------------
For centuries, humans and demons have been on the verge of war. The two races have always been uneasy as soon as they learned of each others existance. But now, demons have kidnapped the daughter of the human leader, Lord Donovan. An elite team of the humans best is dispatched into the nine sections of the underworld, hoping to rescue the maiden. Seeing the rescue squad's mission as an invasion, demons have answered the call of their king and are preparing for a battle. Now is the time for each to choose a side, and fight for their cause.

Light first comes as grains, and then as waves... Very nice idea! ^^
But are we going to use our Gaia characters or do we have to fill out some sort of profile skeleton? ...You flutter as a bird, and then as the world.

If you are going to be a demon, you must come up with a name. Humans can be their gaia profiles.

Shadow looked at his assembled team... wait, where were they? King Hades ordered him to build a team and confront the humans, but the hand picked squad was nowhere to be found.

" Hezecta, where have you been?! " demanded Shadowfang. (I prefer Shadow.)
" Jeez boss, get a grip, its not like the humans have breeched the second level yet. " answered the young officer, " besides, I was actually looking for the rest of the squad. What were you doing? Hmm? "
" I...uh...er. Never mind that! Lets go find those annoying humans. The rest of the squad will have to catch up. " said the furious squad leader as he marched in the wrong direction.
" Other way, Shadow. " called Hezecta.

Light first comes as grains, and then as waves... Phoebe peered down into a giant crater and saw nothing. It was a dark, seemingly bottomless pit. Her team had already jumped in before her... into the underworld.
She peered down and shuddered in fear, trying to gather her courage and just jump.
"GO ALREADY!!" screamed her superior and employer, Lord Donovan, from the distance. "There is no time to lose!"
"Yes-" Phoebe started to call back. All of the sudden, she lost her balance as fell in. "-Siiiirrrrrrr!!!"
She fell flat on her face on the cold, hard rock surface. "Owie... sorry I took so long you guys."
She got up and looked around. "So this... is the underworld.."
"This is only the first level," sighed one of her team mates. "Come on, let's go." ...You flutter as a bird, and then as the world.

"Seriously, why did the boss make you squadron leader?" Hezecta sighed, walking in the right direction.
"Idiot...", she whispered under her breath, running her hand through her hair. She blushed slightly at his antics.

" There, up ahead. Two of them. " reported Hezecta.
" I see them, come on! " yelled Shadow. The duo leaped from their hiding spot and drew their weapons, well, Hezecta did. Shadow left the mission briefing room before he could recieve his. But, since he was desended from one of the five great fallen angels, he had, unique, powers.
" Purgatory's Flames! " Shadow murmured. Instantly, a red fireball struck the nearest human, while his partner exchanged blows with the other.

"Demons! One at a 72 degree angle left and another at 53 degrees!" Phoebe informed her partner.
She was confident. Her whole team was... unusually gifted. She decided to start out easy and save the awesome stuff for later and pulled out several packs of exploding power. "This should do the trick..."

Caught completely by surprise, the explosives sent Hezecta flying backwards. the rest of the humans appeared when the smoke cleared.
" Reinforcements? That's not good. Hezecta! Fall back! We're pulling out. "
ordered Shadow.
"Yessir!" replied his teamate. The demons sprang up into the air and retreated.

Light first comes as grains, and then as waves... "They're falling back...?" Phoebe asked out loud. "But why?"
"Probably got scared! HA! Cowards!" laughed the most boisterous of her colleagues.
Phoebe jumped at the sound of her team mate's voice and turned around. "Wah! Oh... You guys came!"
"Smart... They most likely couldn't face all of us with their current numbers," mumbled their leader.
Phoebe went over to her partner who was on fire. "Oh! Are you okay? It'll be alright..."
She prepared to heal him/her. "Please wait, everyone... He/she has to heal..."
"Are we to go after them, sir?" asked someone.
