The mods can delete this if unnecessary. Just figured it'd be nice to have a thread where people can ramble away about anything that doesn't fit a topic or they don't want to make a new topic about something.
So like uhh...yeah. blaugh I haven't started my Christmas shopping though I've been to the mall and boy, does it suck gonk I like to do it all in one day closer to Christmas cuz I'm a masochist and a procrastinator. Good combo xd

yes, I agree, rl stinks...though I love this time of year....but again I agree on the shopping...nasty. this year I and the other half did all our shopping in one day. We went to the Highland mall in Austin (I was wearing heels--definitely wasnt planning on the outting)-- and basically was there from around 1pm in the afternoon til about 7/8ish that night. They had this jazzy type band playing in hopes of keeping people calm---except they were playing stuff like "born to be wild" but in jazz form, which tells me that the thought on the issue might have been lost. sweatdrop Needless to say, by the time I left our arms were packed full of goods, my feet were punishing me for the torture I put them through and I was thanking god I get to work in boots!
anyone else have a shopping horror story? share!

I went Monday afternoon while everyone was at work. Not too bad sweatdrop
I always wait it out til the last minute...and it needs to be said (and maybe this should go in the vent thread) but WHY THE *(*#@$*(#@$(* is it so hard to find useful women's clothing items? I tried to get waterproof gloves for my GF, USEFUL things...no.
20 shops later, no. Lotsa cute ones, lotsa frilly ones, lots with bells and whistles, no waterproof ones. Seriously...just seriously...wtf.
