Wild Flowers: ( Thanks to Dreamer for retrieving this ) *This is an OLD RP between GunSniper and Dreamer. Pardon the Typos and what not.
Sniper:
- The area was covered in long green grass and a few trees here and there. Wild flowers grew in several areas about the vast field. The sky was dotted with few clouds moving slowly above head. A swift breeze blew constantly over the long grass creating the illusion of a great green ocean.
There has been evidence of few zoids moving over this land, but very few. -
It had been a more than two months ago that she had received Kagi and lost her position with the Imperial military. She has been running ever since that dreadful day. And to think it all started out with that race with the new pilots... Since than she had managed to find a neutral doctor to properly treat the wounds on her arm.
Nick rest on Blaze's right toe looking up at the Zoid. Luckily they had managed to remove the Fail Safe... They would surely have been found out by now. Though she was relaxed her face did not show it. No matter how hard she tried the memories of that day played back in her mind over and over like some horrible television episode.
"At least they have left us alone..." She whispered as she placed a hand on Kagi's snout. "I wonder where Kyrea is... Hope she's okay."
Kagi lay next to Nick, curled up as he usually did when they stopped for a break. Since the night he had awoken he has net no one but the Doctor touch his "thing". It took quite a bit of convincing to even get him close enough. "gwar." Dreamer:
A young woman of eighteen walked the plains of an grassy abyss. She had been traveling for quite sometime looking for a acclaimed traitor, or so that’s what her ’pray” was stated as. Nick: Treasonous, murderer and Thief of the Imperial forces. Yeah. Right. Titus had a hard time believing that. She had seen her before, know of Nick, she seem too loyal, and proud for such a thing. But if it was true, Titus was ordered to dispose of her and retrieve the “stolen” Zoids.
She would have found her easier if not for that freak and it’s Zoid, destroyed her company and patern. Nick was in range too. But nooo. That stupid what ever it was, deprived her of the truth and transportation. Titus only took on the mission to first find out Nick’s side of the story, there has been some rumors of some shady activity in the imperial leader ship as of late. But nothing has been conformed as of yet. And the Story given to her of Nick did seem to likely. Call it treasonous thinking if they like, Titus was tired of the lies feed to her, She despised it more then anything else.
The only thing that had survived the destruction of the un seen attack was what was on her person. Her long sword gleamed slightly from the sun it’s blue hilt reflected it only slightly. Lazy she rested he hand on top of her head with flute in hand. She hoped that the info was correct on finally finding her it had been close to three months looking for her. And the signal on the Fail safe was useless that much had already been proven. Letting out a sigh She dropped her hands from he head and brought the Sliver mouth piece of the flute to her mouth and started a light hearted tune. Something anything to pass the time. Titus C. Wolf
Sniper"
Blaze looked up as he heard the sound of a flute and foot steps. A low hiss emitted from deep within his metallic throat.
"What?" Nick spoke lazily as she looked forward. They were not alone out here. But the question would be to run or not to. Blaze didn't seem too excited to get out of here so it couldn't have been much of a threat approaching.
Kagi growled as Blaze started to hiss, but he remained at Nicky's side, Keeping his head in place so that Nick could keep her hand on his head. His tail did start to twitch as he became more alert.
Dreamer:
Titus didn't look up, she just continued the tune she was playing, relaxed and as she drifted toward the Figures. It was as if she didn't noticed the GunSniper and its company. But she had. For a while now, could she had finally found her Target. Nick's Partner was a unique GunSniper..."Blaze" was it.
She had no reason to be stealthy or secretive, thought that’s what most of her assigned missions were composed with. It wasn't need now. She wasn't acting to be Republic or hiding from anyone. She just wanted to know the truth, that’s what kept her going. What really happened? Nick was one of her own, An Imperialist.
Titus' hazel eyes remained partly closed as she was listening, and alert. Always. Though she would act otherwise. Always keeping people guessing. She concentrated on her thoughts, and surroundings as the tune drifted Relaxing on.
Sniper:
Nick sat up and looked at the figure approaching their position. The person looked familiar... She couldn't put a finger on it. Using her middle finger she pushed her shades slightly up on her nose so that her eyes were now covered. "Looks like we have a guest guys..."
Kagi growled as Nick stood up, standing up himself and taking a defensive position. "grawr..."
AS for Blaze.... He stood there, alert, but not showing it.
Dreamer:
As Titus approached them, she was sure. It was, defiantly Nick. Now the real question was did she know of Titus, It didn't seem to likely. Titus had basically grown up on the base, but once she was on a mission it was behind enemy lines acting as such. In disguise. As result not too many of her own, knew of her. And she didn't mind it.
When She was in comfortable speaking distance but not to close to be intruding. She stopped the tune as well as herself, and looked up with a Smile. Vary comfortable, inviting one. One that made most smile back. Looking up from her flute her eyes opened fully to show kindness but at the same time, there was a slight glimmer of something...more.
"Hay." As she welcomed. Only making the smile bigger as she tilted her head vary slightly.
Sniper
Nick stood up as the person spoke. She was familiar... Slowly she put a hand on Kagi's head so that he would not bolt after her. Nicks cloths on her left side looked to be patched up from a previous cut, and her arm still wrapped in bandages. "What do you want?" She said coldly, not returning the smile.
Kagi tensed up, only the touch of his possession holding him back from this intruder.
Dreamer:
Titus Shrugged off the question with a small laugh as she close her eyes briefly. -So she was injured, just as he said...- She noticed the Bandages and the claimed "stolen" organiod and his readiness to attack and only a hand stopped him. But acted like she didn't notice any of it. It was an expected response from Nick.
"Do you always expect something from someone who approaches you?" She laughed opening her eyes, ignoring the harsh response and still having a smile, as she lowered the flute
Sniper:
It was with that response a face and a name were matched together. A grin rolled across her face as she lowered her shades a little. Her sapphire eyes studied the soldier, right eye still covered by her hair. "You have a lot to learn pup..." She spoke still in that tone, but with a hint of mockery this time. Her hand pat the top of Kagi's head. "EVERYONE wants something."
Dreamer:
"Ah…there’s a Smile…" her smile grew as she laughed at the "pup" remark.
"That's true...Everyone wants something-Oh-I forgot..." letting go of her flute she offered a free Right hand for a shake. "...the names' Wolf, not "Pup". Titus C. Wolf. " she corrected joyfully.
Titus could really play any part she wanted too. But not now she was being herself, though she did act as if the "Pup" statement didn't bug her, which it did, vary slightly. And she did love to play as if she didn't know what was really going on or as if she was "lower" then someone. It opened people up. And she enjoyed seeing the real person. And that’s how she was, the real her.
Sniper"
Nick patted Kagi on the nose before jumping to the grass below, landing in front of the pup. "But what is a wolf before it fully matures? A pup.." The grin vanished as she spoke coldly once again. Than adjusted her shades to cover her eyes once more. "Now what do you want pup?" Not once did she move her hand to accept the shake.
Kagi was so tight one wrong movement could set him off. He was ready to defend his property.
Dreamer:
"...You have a point..." Titus made a smirk-...this is going to be fun...just as expected- as she rested her hand by the thumb on her belt.
"You know,...a pup still has teeth..." She laughed a little it wasn't meant as a challenge or a threat how she spoke; it was more of a reminder
" From you? Nothing in particular. A name would be nice..."The Smirk disappeared. And was replaced with a relaxed smile. She was analyzing every action, ever movement response, as she did with everyone she met. to know and predict a reaction, there was something more to this one though.
Sniper:
"But does the pup know how to use them..." -they must have sent her to kill me... You'd think they would send more than this - "You know my name... Now what do you want?" She asked again, not loseing her cold tone.
Dreamer:
She Shock her head.- Vary good, I expected nothing less...she knows-or is she...asuming?-
" Do I?..." She had become a bit more serious as she asked referring to second responses.
"And what is with you, and wanting me to want something?..." she Huffed still having a smile but is was a bit more relaxed as she crossed her arms as her hand tightened on the flute briefly.
Sniper
This was a very childish pilot. Probably not exposed to the real life. Or maybe she was just stupid? Nick thought as she studied the soldier in front of her. "As I said before, everyone wants something... and you are no acceptation. Imperial, correct? So you are out for my life or maybe something else?" She folded her arms across her chest, again not losing her tone or her expression. "If I am wrong and you do not have busyness with me than leave. I don't have the time do deal with Pups."
Dreamer:
Titus showed the smirk once again as she turned away from Nick to see the landscape, letting out a easy sigh
"Out for your life? Why would I seek for such..." Her expression remained the same unaffected by the tone, But something had changed she was more serious as she looked back at Nick.
"Are you in trouble? Did you do something?" Titus still acted as if she did hear the question about what she wanted. But she was wanting to know the truth, and the only way she felt she would get an honest answer from her was not to share answer, to Nick's question. It was what she thought anyway, and a way to be sure that Nick was stating the truth, If she was to tell of it. With no incentive.
Sniper:
Nick shook her head than turned around and begun to walk away. If Tidus tried to pull a quick one, Kagi was there. He was grumbling very silently the whole time. She didn't even open her mouth to answer Tidus. Whatever, not worth my time. She thought as she walked past Blaze's foot.
"Come Blaze, Kagi. Let's go..."
Dreamer:
Titus shock her head and let out a sigh, and she reached in to her bag that was strapped to her side more towards the back, pulling out a Metal object and lobbing it so it landed behind Nick. The object made a muffed tunk as it hit the ground, it was a familiar looking gun, the one Nick had used once before, and left behind.
Putting her flute away. She looked up at Nick. Her Smile disappeared, And was replace with a darkened gaze, not an evil one but one of concentration, as it that stare belonged to somebody other then her self, thought it was her own. That of a wolf.
Sniper"
Kagi leapt from his perch at Tidus as she withdrew the gun. His Maw wide open. "GRAAAWWWRR!"
Nick froze than turned around to face the gun. Her General's gun... How did? She must have run into Arc. "Our general's gun..." She mumbled to herself as she looked at the gun.
Dreamer:
-Now!...- Titus took a step back, moving into a more steady stance as the orgainod leapt at her. Withdrawing her sword, so fast if someone were to blink they would miss it. All in one motion putting the Flat side of the sliver blade up for a block from the Orgainod's mouth, specially hardened Alloy, near indestructible, He palm rested agents the opposite side of the blade for support. It was almost as if she expected the Zoid to attack.
Sniper:
Nick picked up the gun and looked up at the two. "Oh God." She rolled her eyes and shook her head. "KAGI! BACK AWAY!" She commanded, a flare started up in her eyes as she spoke to the Organoid.
Kagi Gripped the sword hard, surely leaving dents in the metal blade. He was ready to whirl around and use his tail when Nick called out to him. With a growl of "This isn't over" he rand back to Nick’s side.
"Alright pup, where did you get this?..." She fashed the gun at her as she spoke.
Dreamer:
Titus whipped the sword as the Zoid backed off. Straightening herself she studied the blade to see dents it the blade, feeling them with her finger.
"Oh,man..grrr, I just had this fixed up..." She mumble, seeming more depressed about the sword then the fact that that could have been her in a much more damaging scale. - That organiod is dangerous...And it's under Her control...hmm...this will be intrusting- Titus looked from the blade as Nick spoke to her. Sighing she looked down as she sheifed the blade. Shaking her head once more.
"So you know of it...." Titus looked up at Nick the gaze was replaced with a smile, as if nothing happened, as she slowly started toward Nick.
Sniper
" Don't make any fast movements, especially with weapons. He is very protective." Nick spoke in a almost a scolding tone. She placed a hand on Kagis head to help calm him down once again. "This is my general's gun... " She continued. " Where did you get it?"
Kagi's lime green eyes flashed at Tidus. Greed reflecting from them as the sun's ligt to a mirror.
Dreamer:
"Yeah...I noticed..." she mumbled. Slowly she pulled out a cloth and what looked like to be a piece of torn paper from the bag. Approaching Nick, she didn't seem curious or intimated by the organoid, In fact she just over all ignored him being there, but she approached slowly.
" Your general's gun. eh?" Titus spoke as if was news to her but she had already known of it. "...Oh and there is this...he wanted me to return them to you," Titus Held out an open hand to revile the torn parchment, and a twisted cloth with what looked like to be something in it.
The Cloth had blood about it, it looked as if it was used to clean up a wound, but other then that it was white, twisted in it was the same bullet that was from Nick's shoulder. The Note looked to be torn and was also adorn with small trace amounts of blood. Folded and obviously not opened, If read it shown:
Cherish.
Cherish life, and those who stand with you.
Forgive...And you will make peace.
Hate...and you will surely suffer.
Make peace. A.M.L
Sniper:
Nick took the cloth with her right hand, the other was still placed on Kagi's ( Who was crouched over so she could do so comfortably) head. "Ah... So it was him." She examined the items closely.
After a bit she looked back up at Tidus. "He was your general too am I correct? Everyone under his command knew it, knew him, respected him." Her voice was starting to lose that coldness to it, but still not a hind of kindness was to be heard. Nick could feel her eyes start to burn as the image of the General's last look popped up in her mind. She grrit her teeth to keep the tears back. -killed by this gun, his own weapon-
Dreamer:
"hmm...Why do you say that?" She asked as she looked up from her hand as she let it fall. Tilting her head slightly, studying Nick's face. The coldness was starting to dissipate, and she seemed a little sad. They were wrong, or so far it seemed.
Sniper"
"He was a great man... " Nick pulled back her over coat and out the note, bullet and cloth in a small pouch at her side. The gun she still held onto tightly.
Dreamer:
"hmm...was?" Titus still looked at Nick, Making a puzzled look. She always had a habit of asking questions she knew the answer too. But she did so to see what others knew, And if she could learn something new from them. To try and figure out others thought process to know every answer from others. To be ready. She couldn't help it that’s what she did, grew up doing.
Sniper:
" You heard me." The coldness in her voice returned along with anger. With that she turned around and started walking again. - she's digging... has to be.-
Kagi the turned with nick, but keep an eye over his shoulder for any movements from the "Attacker".
Blaze turned round and lowered his head so that his pilot could jump in.
Dreamer:
-Touchy...too touchy...she did kill him. Didn't she? Then who attacked who first?...This isn't working- Titus’ plan to get her information wasn't making too much progress with Nick, But she had gathered enough to seemingly get the picture of what happened. All that was missing was Nick’s Story.
Titus Shook her head and shrugged the remark off. "Alright...your not one to play information from...I must apologize for what I have said.” She had changed; something just changed about her, how she spoke, stood, and acted. It was as if a diffrent person stood in her place.
“ I am sorry..." Titus straightened up and became more soldier worthy in her stance, her facial expression had been removed of a smile and was serious. Not a 'fake' seriousness, but one that demanded attention to what she was speaking.
"You asked what I wanted..." She called, but not in a desperate attempt to keep Nick to stay, as she unfolded her arms and put them to her side.
"As I stated before...my name is Titus C. Wolf," She made a respectful nod. " But what I neglected to tell you was..." Her hazel eye's changed again, reflecting seriousness, and if Nick were to look at her she would be staring Nick straight in the eyes. "That I am a Imperial soldier...one sent for your life, and I'm sure you have already figured as much...but, do you know what I seek...desire?" It was a rhetorical question. "...In whole honesty it's the truth..."
Sniper
Nick froze in her place. So the pup had changed strategy for prying information.
"An Imperial soldier not following orders to the letter asking questions?... you have guts pup... You want the truth?" Nick slowly turned around to face Tidus, matching her in stance, glare and tone. Only her glare was masked by her shades, which she still refused to take off.
"I was the one who took the General's life, yes, I do not deny that. But that was the only life I took. I stole nothing he chose ME... Now, weather you chose to take my information to heart is up to you. I am forcing nothing."
Dreamer:
Titus had no glare, Just seriousness that’s the only emotion that shown, and her tone was relaxed but firm. And she stood her ground. -Taking a life, a General's life and she doesn’t deny it...She spoke so highly of him before...who attacked first...-
"..." Titus' just stared, not breaking her gaze.
- If she speaks the truth...I believe her, I don't know why...I just do...and They have lied before.- The 'They' was her command. And they had been dishonest to her before, that making Nick's statement more believable. Titus wasn't challenging Nick in anyway, but she continued to stare, not blinking. As if to see something more.
She would always give someone a chance to explain them self, and wasn't one to easily accept a lie. Though she may act thought that she had. Always give one a chance. Tell proven otherwise. Yes, it was a naive teaching, but a justice full one at that.
Sniper:
Nick stared right back, not hinting to speak anymore until she had a reply from Tidus. She got what she wanted... right? Nick stood with perfect stance, arms folded across her chest. Though she had been labeled a trader and a murderer she was still full with pride and ambition.
Kagi whipped around, but before he could do anything nick had her and on his head again and he remained still.
Dreamer:
Titus still kept eye contact; she wasn't about to break it. And she could keep it up for hours, she had no conviction to look away. - So prideful...-
"One more thing..." Titus finely spoke, keeping her stance just as steady as Nick's.
"Did you take his life in self-defense?...." A simple question. Nick didn't seem the type to take a life without cause. Though it's funny, living in a war. It only considered murder if the victim is of your side, other then that they are just enemies and casualties, she was shown that much. To kill someone of the other side in a war it's called defending your cause in self-defense, a poor classification. But that is what it was.
Sniper"
"No." She spoke flat out.
Come to think of it she wasn't doing it out of self defense, but rather to ease suffering. Kagi had gotten a hold of him and wouldn't let go until he was gone... just like Richi. Making it as painful as possible. Nick gripped the gun tighter as kagi let out a low growl.
"It was out of pity."
Dreamer:
-Pity?...out of pity?- That oragiond and how it attacked her quickly and unforgivably, and how it seemed that it so wanted to have her in it's mouth even now.
"...Pity?...Fine then..." Titus' closed her eyes and let out a sigh. She didn't break the gaze out of the ability to not stare back. It was no longer need, Nick had looked at her not wincing a bit or breaking it either. She wasn't lying. Reports were wrong. Stolen? No. Found. Blaze was hers not the Government’s. They both were. Looking up again, the 'look' disappeared and was replace with a small smile.
“Thank you…”
Sniper:
"Yes, pity." She was still very cold with her words. -Thank you?... and that smile again...-
"Now, you know the truth... so are you going to take my head back to the base or can I go now?" Nick cocked the gun, holding in such a way the she would be ready to fire. Her arms were not folded so tightly over her chest anymore.
Dreamer:
Titus shock her head as she stretched her arms out high upward, with a relax full sigh, placed her hands on top of her head. And turned to admired the landscape, still facing Nick to look at the direction witch she came… - That’s a load off...It's not my problem anymore, They think I'm dead anyway...It's pointless now-When she looked back the smile replaced with a playful smirk.
"So you need my permission to leave? " she laughed a little, finding it amusing. Asking permission from one so called "pup". It put a smile on her face not out of cockiness or pride; she just found it funny. Ironic if anything.
Sniper
Nick growled as she, once again, turned around and started for the cockpit of her zoid. Than it hit her. -Puppy has no zoid?... that's... that's not right. Blaze would have picked something up if it were hidden.- and once again she turned to face Tidus. "Where's your zoid Puppy?" Still in her cold tone.
-....why do I care?-
Dreamer:
Titus had no desire to take her life it to her wasn't right. As simple as that. She needed to take a brake from the War anyway.
Titus turned as Nick started to walk away. And flopped down in the nice comfy grass; giving her feet a break. Resting her arms on her legs, see looked at the grassy ocean once more.-...Not too many places like this---Puppy!? Why?-...Whatever...-
"Hm?..." She looked over her shoulder at Nick, slightly surprised that she cared.
"...She was destroyed..."
Fate was lost with the rest of her company. Boom. Just like that. Don’t know what hit them.
Sniper:
"'Distroyed'?... So than, you decided to come after me zoid-less?... Knowing I have a zoid in my possession along with an organoid and is presumed to be hostile..." This was puzzling. This pilot MUST be very stupid or very brave. Right now Nick was leaning toward the first option as she did with many new comers.
Nick lowered her shades so that her right eye was just visible over the top. The left was still cloaked by her blond hair.
Dreamer:
Yawning Titus flopped on to her back and rested her hands under head. To tell the truth she didn't really know why she continued the pursuit. Nick was right, she knew of the dangers. But still kept the hunt, maybe it was stupidity. But she just had to see and know the truth for her self, to see if it was even worth it. It was better then not knowing what really happened.
"Yep, looks like it..." She responded. Titus was a loyal soldier and she was good with what she did. But she also had a loyalty to people more then the War. If an order was unethical and no longer just. She just wouldn't do it, as simple as that. And Command got use to it.
Stupidity is a game Titus always loved to play. Her actions always kept people guessing, wondering. So when she actually did something 'Smart' it would blow others away. She enjoyed the reaction, the joy of the Hunt, the play of the game.
" You know,..." She closed her eyes. " You should relax a little more often...It makes life sweeter..."
Sniper"
"stay..." she mumbled to Kagi as she begun to walk to Tidus. "I relax when I can. You would find it hard to when every day you look out for mercenaries and imperial soldiers who want your life for money. Or every time you to walk into a city you have to keep you blood thirsty pet under control." Nick looked back at Kagi in time to see him take a step forward.
Kagi paused as he was looked at than grunted.
"Life isn't as enjoyable for some people pup..." Nick finished her sentence just as she stood over Tidus, looking down on her
Dreamer:
Titus laughed at the statement about Kagi, and that he wanted to fallow Nick. She was right, that is a rough time. Titus didn't have it easy the last three months ether, and she didn't care about sharing. It was the past and it was unneeded information for the moment.
Titus looked up at Nick with a broad Smile as she looked down at her. She was irritated by the fact that she was called 'pup'. But she also figured that she had to get use to title and live with it until proven otherwise. They only just meet anyway. And perhaps she would never lose the title either.
"That’s rough...I'm sorry..." she rubbed the top of her floor-head sheepishly. Titus didn't just say 'sorry' she meant it. As she always did, but she still showed that smile.
"...Well, you can relax now..." she laughed while she closed her greenish-brown eyes for a short moment. Replacing her hand under her head
Sniper:
Nick moved around and took a set next to Tidus. By this time Kagi had moved up along side Nick as well and demanded his head rest on her lap. She let the organoid do so... he was very persistent about always being close.
-Miiiine...- Kagi grunted as he was victorious in his own little way.
Blaze turned around again, it was uncomfortable to be in that position for too long and he preferred to be standing upright when keeping watch.
"So what happened to your zoid?" She faced forward as she spoke.
Dreamer:
Titus closed her eyes as Nick sat with Kagi. Her smile despaired when Nick asked about Fate. - Fate...-
"Hmm?..." Opening one eye she turned her head to look at Nick. Closing her eyelid once more she looked upward again.
"Fate...She, everyone." Titus closed her eyes tighter as she tried to recall what exactly happened, Painfull. That’s all it was. It happened so fast.
She flung her self up to a sit. Fast, but not to abrupt to seem like she was going to attack or do anything treating, for Kagi's sake. Opening her eyes she looked down at the grass, hunging her head. Sighing she looked over at Nick. Then back up, as she stretched out her arms behind her as she leaned back, propping her self up.
Sighing she answered.
"We were really good friend Her and I, practically inseparable." She smiled, but it was gone once she continue,"She was really all I had, well since my mentor died. I-I grew up on the base, but was hardly there when I could finally take on the missions.” She looked over at Nick. " I'm not surprised you didn't recognize Me." she added then looked back off in the distance, as she sat up fully and placed her hands on her lags once again.
" Anyway...We, had only just approached the forest, were you were located to be." She paused. "As we entered, our Scanners-It showed that the GunSniper was on the move again and we had just started chase, hoping for capture of the acclaimed stolen Zoids, and elimination of the fugitive pilot." She now looked at Nick as if she wasn’t speaking of her. Because to Titus she now knew Nick wasn’t as such.
" Just before we could give chase. We were attacked-no chance to defend, nothing. Just… Nothing...Ah-All I can remember was waking up to a Army of decimated Zoids and mangled soldiers, I-don't even know how I survived,…everything was lost. Fate. Everyone." Titus looked down as she rubbed her floor head as she tried to recall what happened. Nothing. As for herself she seemed reality calm about speaking about it. But she wasn’t, truly she wasn’t. And it was hard for her to describe everything; painful that’s what it was. Just Painful.
“I couldn’t do anything…”
Sniper:
Nick sighed as she rubbed Kagi's nose. "That's war pup. Friends, family... there is always a good chance that they will be lost. It's not fair, and shouldn't happen... but it does."
This story was interesting though... Nick had heard rumors of a Shadow running over the land, attacking random soldiers on both sides of the force. Dreamer:
" Your right...I'm use to it in away...But this...this wasn't normal..." Titus looked back up as she shook her head, dropping her hand.
Titus was use to the Dieing in away; she was a trained assassin. But no one could ever totally get use to it. Never. It wasn't so much that she lost everything. It was that she couldn't protect it from being snatched away from her.
She huffed. She wouldn't understand, Titus didn't even understand, why would she.
“.... I did see Arc again, though." On a lighter note and changing subjects. A Smirk slid across her face as she looked at Nick -...curious...- "How do you two know each other, anyway?"
Sniper:
t was a hard subject and easy to understand why Tidus would want to change it so abruptly. "He fixed up my arm... saved my life to put it a better way." Nick continued to face forward as she spoke
Dreamer:
"Heh, did he..." Titus turned her head to look forward too, smirking
"...He did say something about a Judge of some sort. And that it,--A demon he called it, caused the destruction I survived." Titus looked back at Nick.
"Hay, did he have that cut on his face when he meet you? It looked pretty fresh..."
A while back Titus had first met Arc when she went searching for her Mentor; Joy Songbird's Zoid, Whisper. To find Arc with it. Joy had Always talked so fondly of Arc. So she let him keep Whisper as her Mentors last wish. Only a few times have they have met since then.
Sniper"
"Yes, he did it was hard to see anything, but from what I can see it was still bleeding... Didn't say anything about a 'judge' though." She looked at Tidus from the corner of her eye (Right eye was on side facing Tidus)
Dreamer:
"...Hmm. He didn't...then again he doesn’t seem to say much..." sighing Titus rested her chin in her hands, resting her elbows on her knees. looking forward again. "...Weird...wonder what happened..." She mumbled.
-...Judge...he did seem more tattered then usual. But who is this Judge?-
Titus looked at Nick out of the corner of her eye, noticing she was doing the same. She let out a small laugh causing her to smile once again.
"Your arm. Is it Okay?..." Titus asked as she looked at Nick, then her bandage arm. Then back at Nick.
Sniper:
I've had it worse..." Nick pulled her shades down a bit so that her eye ( right is always covered by her hair ) was just barely viable over the top after speaking. Blaze had said something about a city and a CPB. That is how he picked up Arc. Maybe they are connected.

Dreamer:
"Hm...Have you?" Titus frowned a bit as she tilted her head a bit as she spoke, still resting her chin in her hands. "Then...It's not bad...Bullet or cut?"
Titus her self was adorn with both on her left arm that were visible. Though young she still had been through a lot her self. Most she didn't care to speak about.

"No, It's not..." Nick looked up at Blaze. " This is nothi-" Suddenly her attention was turned forward again.
"Hellllllo... Tidus Wolf... Nick K-*sounded out by Kagi Roar*" An eerye voice called out from infront of them.
"GRAAAWWWR!"
Dreamer:
Titus looked out toward the direction of the voice as her name was called.
"..." She lifted her chin from her hands letting her hands drop. Looking out of the corner of her eye at Kagi and Nick. She stood up. All she knew was the Voice did not sound friendly. And she didn't want to be caught off guard sitting. Skillfully keeping her self-alert in all directions, as best she could. Not making a move for any weapon as of yet. But was thinking about it. -Who?...I don't,…I don't like it's voice.-
Sniper:
"I know the truth. You cannot hide it. Both of you now stand before the Judge and the Jury, I will now let you defend yourselves. How do you plede?" The demonic voice spoke seriously. This thing was out for blood.
Nick stood up as well, stepping in front of Tidus. Kagi still at her side. the gun gripped tightly in her hand. With her other hand she pointed up at Blaze, who immediately got very alert. His "ears" perked forward. "Show your face and maybe we'll talk..."
Dreamer:
Titus took a step back surprised at Nick's Action; She was thinking the same thing. Titus noticed Nick's gesture. With that she flipped around to cover Nicks back, her back to hers. Grabbing her own Gun at her side as well and her slightly damaged blade. She unshiefted them both. Gun, she held out with her left hand. Sword, with her Right. The gun was gripped relaxed over the blade, but she held a firm grip. The sword was held horizontally to the gun also with a relaxed grip. - Judge...-
"...Whenever your ready..." Titus Whispered as she kept a look out. Was Nick thinking what she was thinking? An Escape?
Sniper"
"When Blaze lowers his head... get in the cockpit. Don't sit in the chair. I'll follow after I'm sure it's safe." Nick commanded in a whisper. As Nick's hand fell back to her side, Blaze lowered his head and the cockpit opened up slightly.
"Running away are we?" The Judge mocked.
Dreamer:
Titus growled she didn't like Nick's idea of staying behind. It was hard enough running-a-way as it was.
" Both of us or not at all...You, if anything. It's your Zoid." She answered back in a whisper stubbonly and seriouly.
Sniper:
"When in battle you follow orders or more people will lose their lives. Now get in." She growled back. "Do you understand Pup, NOW."
Dreamer:
Titus didn't think of Nick told her to do as orders. More of a suggestion. Nick wasn’t her commanding officer. Or was she. Titus had already lost her Mentor fallowing such orders.
Go, I'll be right behind you.
The last orders she had heard from Songbird, and she had fallowed them. And had lost her to them. If she would have stayed it all would have happen differently. And she knew that.
Growling Titus took off as Nick said 'Now'. sheifing her sword but kept her gun out as she quickly Approached Blaze
Sniper
Nick inched backwards as Tidus headed for Blaze. Kagi had moved in front of Nick as well.
"Do you not wish to defend yourselves? Than once again I pass judgment on you..." There was a click noise as The Judge spoke, familiar to that night she nearly took Arc's life. "will fate be kind to you?"
"s**t..." Nick said between grit teeth as she turned around and ran for Blaze, Grabbing Tidus and forcing her to speed up as well. "HURRY!"
Kagi let out a loud roar as the click went off, holding his ground and facing the direction of the voice.
Dreamer:
Thc-" as Nick Grab Titus she pulled away from her as she sped up; reaching Blaze she hopped to the Side of the Pit Not touching the chair, allowing Nick to get in. Put her in a awkward position. But she was in none the less. And not practically in a good mood. More over the fact that she was proven a "pup".
Sniper:
KAGI COME!" Nick wasted no time in hopping in the cockpit. As soon as she entered the cockpit closed and Blaze whirled around running. Kagi rocketed up on Blaze's back, as he had learned to do so when Blaze was going to run at max speed.
"I see..." The judge chuckled as Blaze whirled around. "let us see now."
A screen popped up just to the right of Nick reveling a shadowed zoid, powering up for what looked to be a charged particle beam.
Dreamer:
As Titus was in the Pit she tried her best to stay off as many of the controls she possibility could. Making it easier for Nick. She propped her self up, and off the controls; scrunching herself, she balancing on a area without (or with the least amount of) colorful switches and buttons. Titus examined the screen as it popped up opposite for her. -Is that?...Are you serious...-
Titus growled as she looked at the screen, she had acted foolishly. And that error, her own mistake upset her more then anything
Sniper"
Nick flicked the boosters on and pressed Blaze to go as fast as he possibly could. The force from the run pressed Nick in her seat, but she was used to the speeds on this Gunsniper and it did not bother her. The whole area lit up as a bright beam passed by them. Nick had managed to pull Blaze to the far left of the beam as hit. She would have to continue to run at an angle to avoid the sweeping beam until she was completely out of range.
Dreamer:
Titus watch Nick’s hand as it reach for the Boosters. -ohno...-
"Your not guna--"
SLAM! Titus was flunged to the Back of the Pit as the Boosters were activated Titus couldn't have no more finished speaking let alone let there be anything to grab on to so quickly. The hit didn't hurt her, as most things didn't physically.
She had a hard time sitting her self back up as Blaze continued to go at a slant. Titus didn't seem to mind. She couldn't say that she had been in such a predicament before but the action was needed. And she knew that.
Sniper:
It was a huge relief that that odd Zoid and The Judge had not followed them. That was odd, why would she be going after them in the first place? After Nick was sure that they were a good distance, out of the CPB range, she slowed down a little. Than when the zoid was completely out of range she slowed down even more.
She looked at Tidus briefly over he shoulder. Nothing was said, but the look on her face showed that she was not happy with the pup.
Dreamer:
As the Pull stopped holding Titus down she sat up as best as she could still making sure that she didn't hit one of the controls. As she did she didn't pay any attention to Nick. She Knew what she had done but now didn't regret it. True it was a mistake, and she had to cope with it, but all she could do now was apologize, and move on.
Titus felt Nick’s gaze on her, as she did she looked back, in time to just catch her look making eye contact. Everything seemed to be said with her own look as she stared back only looking away only after Nick turned back around. Titus was good at reading people’s emotions and body language even if they didn't say anything to her. Even though you didn’t have to have that skill to see that Nick wasn't happy with her.
Titus closed her eyes as she tried to find a reason for the sudden attack. The only other person she knew that could give some kind of answer was Arc. And if she did find him, She doubted that he knew much more then what he had already shared which wasn't much.
Sniper
The beautiful grass lands were now behind them and back to the desert landscape every zoidian was used to now. As the approached a small ghost town blaze had slowed down to a comfortable walk. There was a run down hanger near the center of the town. This would be the pace to stay for a bit... Nick shook her head as she removed her shades. With the hand that wasn't holding the shades she rubbed her right eye lightly than reached down in the compartment near the control stick and withdrew what looked to be a capsule full of pills. Without hesitation she popped one in her mouth than quickly stowed the rest back where she had gotten them from. And quickly put the shades back on her face.
Dreamer:
Titus Looked out at the terrain, the fields were gone; and now back to the boring wasteland. Titus let out a sigh. She would have asked to be let out but Nick didn't seem to be in the right mood to be taking at that moment. And it wasn’t important. Titus attention went to see what Nick was doing when she removed her beloved glasses. Only being able to see her right eye, she started to watch out of the corner of her eye. But shock her head and continued to look out of the pit. Not paying any attention to what she was doing. She could her the pills and figured medication was involved, but acted as if she didn't notice.
It was Nick's business and if she want to share, she would. But to Titus it seemed unlikely.
"You, okay?" Titus lazily spoke as if she didn't notice what was going on, as she still looked outside the pit.
Sniper:
Nick pulled into the empty zoids hanger and parked Blaze, who let his head rest on the floor so that both pilots could get out safely. As soon as it was open Nick whirled around to face Tidus.
"Now you listen here, when I give you an order it is to be followed for you safety and not MY amusement. And don't give me we're not in the military crap. I now damn well I'm no longer in the military. But Damnit pup you could have been killed. Don't you throw your life away! You hear me, don't you throw it away like that." Nick huffed. It was a speech, one that was apparently burned into her memory. Her arms folded across her chest and her gaze masked by the shades only adding effect to the seriousness in this conversation... speech rather.
Dreamer:
Titus was taken-aback she hadn't been expecting such a speech so much so she almost fell over backwards and out of the pit. It was the fact that Nick cared about her life that surprised her the most. The only other person who seemed to care for such was her mentor. Titus took in the Speech. And Stared back listening attentively . - Why dose she care?...-
"Why d-…I know..." She mumble as she looked down sheepishly, just as a puppy would while being scolded
"She would have said the samething...well almost. My mentor. You remind me of her, in a way..." She smiled as she looked back up at Nick as if to look past the glasses though she still looked a bit sheepish.
"I-I have tried lived by her rules that she had thought me...-Don't you forget your own words, Remember them. Okay?" Titus tilted her head a bit as she laughed a little after she finished speaking.
Sniper"
Nick frowned as Tidus spoke. -Would have said? Mentor?... well than. Something must have happened.-
"Those words I have never forgotten. " Nick pulled down her shades. Still her right eye was covered by her hair. She gave Tidus a good stair before jumping out of the cockpit.
Dreamer:
-So she was told that before...Nice speech though…-
"That’s good..." Titus looked back at Nick briefly as she stared at her. but then hopped out of the Pit. Returning her gun at her side. She had tried to lighten the mood. With that as if it was a simple conversation, but she meant it.
"Oh-” Titus looked over at Nick as she was hopping out with a small smile. "...You haven't answered me yet..."
Sniper:
"what question?" Looked over at Tidus with an emotionless face. Her words were spoken in a tone to match the look.
Kagi jumped off of the zoid as well, quickly running to be at Nick's side. He gave Tidus a quick growl as he pulled up along side of her.
Dreamer:
Titus laughed as Nick answered. She must have not heard her; either that, or she didn't want to answer.
"Are you okay?..." she Repeated the question closing her eyes she smiled once more with a small laugh. As if she didn't notice Kagi Growl at her. She ignored him, he didn't like her and she didn't care.
Sniper
"Had better days." Nick mumbled as she looked forward.
The hanger was full of large dusty metal crates, no doubt used for zoid weapon carrying cases. Or possibly something along the lines of army supplies? There was a eerie darkness about the room. The sound of the many hooks on the ceiling screeched with every passing breeze. In the very back of the room sat a rusting zoid with the mid section melted away. For an old building this place was only filled with miner holes in the structure. Mainly on teh ceiling.
Dreamer:
"Hmm...oh! and -I haven't thanked you yet either..."Titus causally spoke as she walked past Nick and stopped a few feet ahead of her.
"Thank you..." turning around she made a partway bow out of respect; it was more of a nod.
"You too, Blaze..." She strightened up as she smiled and looked up at the Gunsniper. " Kagi..." And then to the Red organiod, but only briefly.
Titus didn't mind the eeriness of the place, she had seen many like this in the past and was use to the abandoned feeling. She had been for three months now. Zoidless, and taken for dead.
Sniper:
Nick walked over to the blown away zoid, looked to be an Iron Kong. She didn't comment on Tidus' thanks, only have her a look. Now was a good time to see if supplies would be lying around... though it was unlikely. This place may have been cleaned out already.
Blaze cooed and closed the door to his cockpit. Kagi, however, snorted and snapped his jaw to Tidus.
Dreamer:
Titus, once again ignored the angsty organiod sighing she place her rested her hands on the back of her head and strolled over to the Warehouse's garage door. - She doesn’t say much...But then again, actions do speak louder then words.-
" He was right. You know,...that 'Judge' can't be called human..." She called as she leaned agents the door just near it’s opening, in a way so she could see outside but not be seen (well to at lest to human eyes ). She kept a sharp watch, but didn't look like to be doing so. But rather like she was relaxing
She started to unshife her sword, but as she did she let out a sigh and shock her head; Remembering the damage done to it by Kagi. She shifed it once more before she could pull it free. Lifting her left shoe she reviled a small-concealed knife on her heal, yawning she lazily pulled it free.
Crossing her arms she rested the polished knife on her arm, slanting it, so to see what she couldn't around the corner. It acted as a mirror. But she just seemed to rest it on her arm for no reason. She looked out side into the dusted terrain, keeping the blades reflection out of sight, and watching the blade out of the corner of her eye. While still looking outward
Sniper"
"Neither can I..." She whispered as she inspected the Iron Kong with Kagi. The glare from the knife caught her attention and she briefly turned her full attention to Tidus along with Kagi. The quick turn caused her hair covering her right eye to move a bit. The was a very dim red light coming from... the lens on the left side? With a sigh she turned back to the dead zoid and brushed the hair back over her eye.
"Carful with weapons pup..." She sighed and put a hand on Kagi, who growled again but was good and stayed with Nick.
Dreamer:
Titus looked over at Nick as she whispered; nothing seemed to be happening outside. And Titus had vary good hearing as well as sight. -her eye...it just...- She acted as if she didn't see anything, none the less.
"I don't believe you..." Titus Replied quietly. She saw something more in Nick. She looked down at the knife again and straightened up facing Nick. Her facile expression turn hard and serious, and her eyes seemed to be convicting.
"Be careful? With what? This knife?" Titus spoke mockingly as she brought the Small blade to her own throat. She had to prove something to her. She knew she would probably get a beating especially after the Speech. But she had to show Nick, what’s inside a Human and what lacks in a beast.
She pressed the blade to the side of her throat. "I know how to use it..." Her voice serious, to show that she wasn't joking
Sniper
Nick shook her head and continued to look through the boxes. When Tidus said she new how to use it she looked back at her. Her eyes narrowed as she saw what the pup was doing. With her right arm she withdrew a pistol from under her coat. Her teeth grit as she aimed the gun and stomped toward Tidus. "DAMNIT! Pup, get that away from your neck or I'll force you." She cocked the gun. "Do I need to disable your arms?"
Kagi was ready to rip into Tidus, he would have been more than happy to, but Nick signaled for him to stay with her left hand. He had learned the hard way to do as told.
Dreamer:
Titus only Stared back with that same look as Nick Stomped toward her, she expected as much and knew Nick would do as she said.
"Like I care...Why should I keep living? My life means NOTHING!" she pressed the knife agent her throat harder, blood could be seen sliding off the clear polished blade.
"No one even wanted me from the start! Tossed away as trash, Accepted as such. And thought dead, why not make it an reality?" Titus didn't flinch a bit as the blade cut in to her throat. Nor did her voice lose its tone.
Sniper:
With her other hand she removed the shades and growled. As Nick said she would, she did. She pulled the trigger sending a bullet at Tidus' shoulder connected to the arm holing the knife. Even after the shot she continued forward.
Dreamer:
Titus shoulder jerked back as her arm dropped to her side still holding the knife. She showed a smile though her gritted teeth as she winced a little. But didn't drop the blade. Nor would she fight back, she knew she would get whooped for the start and possibly shot. Which she did. But she merely snickered at the pain as it coursed down her arm along with blood. -You aim is good...now, let's see how hard you can hit...-
Titus just merely Stared at Nick with that 'look' and a accomplished Smile. As she rested her other hand on her injured shoulder.
Sniper"
When Nick got close enough to Tidus she grabbed her neck with her left hand and grabbed her wounded shoulder with her right, putting the gun away and her shades hooked on her coat before she was actually in grabbing distance. The grip on her neck seemed much stronger than the one on her shoulder. Not that the force behind them was any different. "You would want to take your life away? What of your Mentor? or is tis some sick joke to prove I am human? I have human emotions... I am not a monster or a beast. To claim I am not human does not mean I compare myself to a demon like The Judge. How DARE you spit on the teachings of your beloved mentor. How DARE YOU USE YOUR OWN LIFE TO PRVE SOMETHING!" Nick could care less that Tidus' blood was now on her gloves. "You claim to be a "wolf", but all I see before me is a little pup. Clueless... Stupid pup." She gripped the shoulder tighter as a she spoke.
Dreamer:
Eh-...." Titus didn't try to struggle free from Nick as she was grabbed around the Neck and shoulder. Both her hands stayed at her side. Growling as the Pain became more evident as she increased her grip around her shoulder. Her stare still unbroken, as she was being chewed out. She could take a large amount of punishment if she had to and still be able to stand.
"You.Know.Nothing.Of...her" It was apparent that her breathing had became heavy But she didn't seem to mind or notice. "Or.Of...me. Nor-Gah-I you." "Besides...from wHat..I...Have..Laerned. It Takes A lot...to teach you something." She smiled though pain surged through her body, finaly dropping the knife. Warm blood ran down her arm
"But...now...that I have...your...attention. Think...of...me...What...you like. But,...don't...be...fooled...by...an Act. " She growled, As her breathing became rough though the grip
'If...I..have..to...pove...somthing...that...will...open...another's...blind...eyes and...saveing...there...life, I...will...use...mine...with...out...a...second...though. It...is worth...that much. Remember...your...own words! You...can't aim...when...your...blinded, you know that! Open...your...eyes! And…you will see something more." Her voice started to grow weak, but she continued speaking, and wouldn't be silenced.
"See pass the glasses! Look deeper then…what you...are shown…" her voice had remind clam and serious. But it grew vary weak and was slightly obscured by the clinching of her teeth, from the Pain. But she tried to make everyword clear as best as she could. And The only thing she struggle with was trying to speek. She made no effort to be free the whole time.
Sniper:
Nick forced Tidus to the ground with a growl. She kept her grip on her neck and tightened the grip on the shoulder.
"Now you see here, I would not willingly lose my own life. I need no lesson here as I have learned it years ago."
Releasing the grip on Tidus' neck she pulled off the glove on her left hand with her mouth and spit it to the ground at the side. Than she proceeded to pull her hair back so that her right eye was visible. Under the glove her hands here severely scared. one long scar ran from her middle finger all the way to where the glove once ended. That was the darkest scar. As for the eye... there was something unnatural about it.
"I have lost my zoid once, I have lost my own mentor who was like a father to me. I promised him I would never take my own life, I would do what is necessary to live. I bear these scars because of my own stupidity. He died because of MY own stupidity. Now you sit here trying to give me lessons? I should let you die here and now for your great stupidity. I should, but I won't. "
Her grip tightened once again. "A bullet wound to the shoulder. May that mark forever be a symbol of your damn stupidity pup." She growled.
Dreamer:
As Titus hit the ground she did nothing to stop the fall or do anything to defend her self. she was allowing her self to accept the kind of punishment given. Why? Her eye's winched from the pain as she hit but she still looked in to her attackers eye's no pain was shown in them or fear, Just sadness and pity. She just watched. Staring into that right eye that was finally revile to her. Acting unaffected by the speech and Pain. Almost no emotion shown except through the windows of her soul.(i.e. eyes)
Titus could breath normally as Nick final released her grip around her throat. Which was now red with smeared blood and the out line of Nick's hand. But her breath was still slightly heavy as she finally looked away letting her head fall to the side of her uninjured shoulder.
Taking a breath as a shot of pain ran though her body as Nick only tightened her grip.
"Blind eyes' can't see. And understand Nothing. Learning Nothing..." Titus whispered, as her eyes were still open.
"There's so much pain..." her voie was soft and sad as she spoke, only one signal tear slid down her visible cheek. That solitary tear was not for her pain. She hadn’t cried out nor would she, from simple pain that could easily be controlled as had before. Finaly she allowed her eyes to close.
Sniper
Nick sighed and leaned back. With her left hand she put the shades back on. "I guess you must have been waiting for this than... Nothing I say is getting through to you. You are like a broken record." Once again her hair fell over her eye as her hand rose up and she brought it down hard on Tidus' cheek. "Maybe it's time you opened your eyes than and start learning." She spoke coldly than signaled to Blaze to come closer.
Kagi came as well, hoping to get into this mauling action that was going on. He had no real idea what was happening, but passed it off as Nick finally came to her senses and wants the threat dead.
Blaze moved his head closer and opened up the hatch to his cockpit again. Ready for Nick to jump in and retrieve supplies.
Dreamer:
Titus once again didn't flinch as she was hit. Hard. She would say nothing. or answer her. Anything Titus said didn't seem to affect Nick. But Nick words didn't fall on death ears. She had listened and her eyes were opened. She had always believed that you must live by your own word if you want others to fallow them. And always tried to learn at everything she was shown or told. But it was pointless to carry on trying to show Nick something if she didn't want to see it.
Titus sat up as Nick finally let go of her, her shoulder numb from the Pain. Shaking her head she leaned agents the door once again. She with her free hand pulled off her shirt, up past her left arm and head. Reviling a black tank-top. With that same hand she reached for the bloody Knife. The wound was nothing to her, she had had far worst when she was captured from working as a spy, behind enemy lines. Though it would reminder her of what Nick wanted it to.
Without a second as she pried the dagger in to her shoulder wound, twisting the blade to free it of the bullet, she watched as if it was someone else; popping the stupid thing out where it fell to the ground. She made no flinch during the operation as if it was common practice.(which it was)
With the over-shirt off it still failed to revile the most of her scars that adorn her back, sides and torso. The tank-top still covering them while her back wasn't shown.
Sniper:
Nick was just about to take care of the bullet when Tidus began her operation. Shaking her head she stood up, picking up her glove as she did, and moved over to Blaze. She knew there was medical supplies in the cockpit.
"Watch her Kagi..."
Without hesitation she leapt into the cockpit and searched for all the medical supplies that would be needed.
Kagi stood there staring at Tidus with those greedy eyes. He was very disappointed to not have this woman dead, That was reflected in his constant low growls.
Dreamer:
-Like I would go any ware....- she had thought of it though. Titus leand Agents the door . It hurt. She let out a sigh. She was use to it; she had been her whole life. Titus looked away from the company and out side digesting what was said. All of it was so...predictable
Sniper"
Nick once again jumped from the cockpit carrying a white box with a red cross on it. Blaze sealed the cockpit as soon as Nick was out. It ran through her mind several times to just leave this pup here and go elsewhere. But part of her felt she needed to stay put. Luck for Tidus she went with the part that said stay... for now.
"Sit up" She spoke coldly as she pushed her shades back up so they were covering her eyes.
Dreamer:
Titus looked back at Nick as she spoke and pushed her self off of the door to sit her self up. Dropping the Knife. Letting out an exasperated sigh. Titus couldn't figure out why She had decided to stay anyways. Maybe she would leave. And find her self a way to her base. Like a beaten stray though she didn't want to.
Sniper:
Nick knelt down next to Tidus's injured shoulder and squinted. reaching into her bag she retrieved a needle. With her other hand she held out a thick stick about five inches in length to Tidus. "Put this in your mouth..." This time as she spoke she looked at Tidus directly, though still through her shades.
Kagi's eyes fashed with delight as he saw the needle. He had a completely different idea on what that was for...
Dreamer:
Titus looked at the sick and huffed, but took it anyway and did as she was told. She didn't need it. she looked back at Nick and her glasses as she remained relaxed
Sniper
As soon as her other hand was free, she reached back in the bag and withdrew some water. All her attention was on the wound. First step was to clean it. Slowly she let the water pour over the wound. The water was at not too cold, but a lot cooler than the room around them. Than, after setting the water down she withdrew a cotton swab and dabbed lightly around the wound.
Kagi tilted his head to the side and cooed. This was an odd way to kill someone.
Nick than was ready to stitch un the wound. She tried to make this process as quick as possible, but do a good job at the same time. Once the wound was stitched up she ran some more water over it and dabbed the area around the stitches and cleaned off the blood. Finally she wrapped a cloth over that and finished off with some medical tape. All the time she worked she did not speak one word.
Dreamer:
Titus Looked away it didn't hurt to her, But she knew how frustrating it is to have someone watch. She flicked the Stick in her mouth with her tongue where it rested under it. It pinched a little but it wasn't to painful, she gazed about the room not moving during the procedure. The water felt nice on her shoulder. She flicked the Stick about her mouth as if she was bored while she analyzed the events in her mind.
When Nick had finished she looked over at her with a smile. "Thank you..."
Sniper:
Nick wrapped up Tidu's neck with a thin cloth. She tied it tightly, but to too tight as to choke her. "Don't do that again. I'll take your arms off next time..." Once that was done she sat back and let out a long drawn out sigh.
Kagi lay down with his muzzle pressed against the ground. He was highly dissapointed to see that Tidus was not dead. He let out a low drawn out growl.
Dreamer:
Titus made a small soft grunt as she tied off her neck. It was still sore. An made a small laugh as she leaned agent the door again. She wouldn't take her life. She wasn't going to from the start. Titus grab the stick with her left hand that was still in her mouth and just rested it there as she looked up at the ceiling.
Then all of a sudden she just started laughing. As she thought about what just happened she found it funny as she replayed it in her mind. And of what would have happened if Nick just didn't care from the start.
"You know....I believe you" she just laughed as she looked at Nick out of the corner of her eye she didn't know why she found it so amusing. But it was.
Sniper"
Nick was silent still. She too replayed the events in her mind and oppositely found them irritating. Self mutilation was not something she was very fond of, even if she was never actually going to take her own life. Nick was sure she wouldn’t... although there was a small thought she actually might have. Without a word Nick got up, taking the medical supplies with her and headed back toward Blaze.
Kagi lefted his head as Nick begun to move back to Blaze. With a delightful growl he slowly looked back at Tidus.
"Leave her alone." Nick spoke without looking over her shoulder.
And with that command he flopped back to

And with that command he flopped back to teh grown and grunted in dissapointment.
Dreamer:
Titus slowly stopped laughing when Nick got up. It was a pretty serious matter that just happened and it rubbed Nick the wrong way. That was easy enough to tell. Shrugging it off Titus looked up at Kagi as he looked at her. But she just looked back at Nick. -friendly...arn't you?-
Slowly standing up she whipped off the blade on her pants, and slipped it into her boot once more. As she stood she had this drunken worn out look about it. Her right arm remained dropped at her side. As she let go of the stick in her mouth she placed that hand on her wounded shoulder and rotated her other arm stretching it at the same time. It pinched and felt bruised as she did so. But it was so weird to have her arm feel dead the pain helped her know it was still there. Nor would she let it stop her, Her shoulder burned and felt numb and prickled with pain. But as with all wounds the Pain never fully comes the first day.
Titus grunted as she reached for her shirt that still hanged on her 'bad' arm. She pulled it over her head and other arm once more. The shoulder of the shirt was marked with a hole and blood. And through the hole you could see the wrap that covered her wound.
Titus walked lazily over to the entrance of the hanger doors she stood there looking out them contemplating her next move. She rested her left elbow on the hilt of her sword.
What would she do? She wasn't needed here, and she knew she was the most annoying thing to Nick at the moment. But she laughed softly at that thought. Not out of play or spite. But to the fact that it was true and the irony of it. Sniper:
Kagi eyed Tidus' every movement. Oh how he wanted to jump on her right about now.
Nick was very quick about putting the supplies away and very quiet about sneaking up behind Tidus... walking rather. "Go lay down, you need to rest." Nick Kept her gloves at her side as they were still covered in blood from the whole ordeal. The would have to be cleaned as soon as possible... Nick HATED to show of those scars. She was just lucky her shades did not need to be cleaned.
Dreamer:
Titus noticed Nick sneaking behind her but remain forward as if she didn't. Sneaking was Titus’ specialty and she was good about. She almost hadn’t notice Nick. - She's good...-
"You know, you can get around pretty quietly." she was surprised and showed it. Titus looked over at her shoulder at Nick showing a smile when she told her to go lay down, not hinting that she saw her.
She wanted to protest. But she was tired, and didn't want to bug Nick any further. But then again she didn't like to be babied....
"Is that an Order?" She playfully answered with that 'smile'. She wasn't trying to sound or be defiant in anyway. Just asking a question.
Sniper
"That is an order pup." It seemed as though the ice was breaking a little. Her tone was not so cold as it had been for the past... since they meet. Though it was still a bit harsh.
"Now do I need to bring Kagi over here to assist you or are you going to listen this time?"
Kagi immediately sprang up with a cheerful growl. He heard his name and saw his master was with the meaty chick. Maybe now she came to her senses and would let him kill her now.
"I suggest you listen..." She pushed up her shades again and turned around toward Kagi. It was obvious that was meant to be a little playful, but still there was that unfriendly seriousness attached to it...
Dreamer:
"Awww but he looks so Blood thrusty too...Yes you do..." Titus made her voice sound like as you would to a baby or puppy. She wasn't picking a fight with the Organiod or did she want to. Insteed being playful and fully understood that Kagi wanted to kill her. Sniper:
Kagi's greedy eyes flashed as he snarled and bolted forward with his maw wide open, but came to a screeching halt. The sound was like scraping a metal fork across a ceramic plate. His claws dig into the ground. Nick had stepped between them.
Nick did not stop as she stepped between them, she continued to walk toward her guardian, looking at Tidus over her shoulder. "You should be more careful around him... He wants you dead above even Arc." Dreamer:
Titus winched to the noise Kagi made as he stopped. But she didn't flinch, she wouldn't allow her self to be fearful of him, it was the same with a lot of people. If someone knows that you fear them they will take advantage of that. Titus never planed that to happen. As for greed, it was never an issue to Titus, to put it simple she never had anything to be greedy about in her life. She grew up with only what the Military provided and live with such. But now that was gone.
Titus looked up at Nick as she looked at her.
"...A lot of people want him dead." Titus spoke softly as she turned her self around. It was true. There was a time Titus herself want him dead; before she found out the truth about what happened to her Mentor and blamed him for her death. Sniper"
"Didn't I tell you to get some rest? Get back in here and go to sleep. " Nick put an arm on Kagi's neck and walked him back the way he ran from. She leaned her head against his neck as well. "It's okay, I'm safe" She whispered to him gently.
Kagi went willingly with Nick. He felt disappointed still, but was willing to do whatever his master, his property wanted. Dreamer:
Titus shook her head as she reluctantly did as she was told. She walked back over to the area she previously sat. Rubbing the back of her neck she let out a yawn as she watch the two. -...What am I doing here?...-
Titus had replayed that thought through her head more then once, not just in the day but also for the past two months. She looked down at where she previously was mauled; her eyes dropped to her feet were she noticed the bullet that was flung from her shoulder. Letting out a small huff she lightly kicked the small metal object out of the way, a hint of unwanted spite came with it as she flopped down.
Sniper:
Nick actually came over to sit down next to Tidus. With Kagi at her side of course. He wouldn't leave if she commanded him to go, that was the deal. He gets to be close and he'll listen to every other order. She Kept a hand on his head as that kept him calm. "Clean that bullet off and it will make a nice necklace pup..." Nick pulled down her shades and looked at Tidus from over the glass. Still the left eye covered by hair.
"Just learn from your mistakes and you can be the smartest person in the world." She looked forward and pushed back up her shades. That was anther thing Blaze used to say... Dreamer:
Titus still stared at the bullet until Nick spoke. She had came over? That was a present surprise. Titus reached for the bullet and looked at it in her hand, then back at Nick with a smile.
"Alright then..." She stashed the bullet away. She leaned agent the door once again. She had been shot before, but never cared to keep the bullet of each wound.
Titus looked forward as Nick pushed back her shades. Thinking about what happened, she looked back at Nick.
"I'm Sorry..." Her smile was gone showing full seriousness that she was apologizing for what she had done. Which she hardly did, as she didn't regret what she did most of the time.
Sniper
Nick let out a sigh and stroked Kagi's head gently. "Just think is all..."
Dreamer:
Titus smiled as she made a nod before looking forward and closing her eyes. Titus tried to think before every action was made. More concentrating on the reaction of another then her own. But from now on she would think more clearly. "Night..."
-Nick...heh, she somthing else...this will be intrusting-
Titus gave up on the act she had shown Nick when they first meet, she knew Nick's side of the story, had discoverd the so called truth, that she so desired. But was left with one important question. What now? She didn't care to carry out her given orders, she wouldn't. The only way that she would even think about would be if she thought Nick was lying. And from what she had seen, she was telling the truth. Though there was that 'Judge' to worry about.
-...Maybe Arc knows more about 'her'- Sniper:
Nick remained awake, she couldn't sleep. There was too much on her mind at this time, more than usual. She kept her hand on Kagi's head as she thought. The idea of ditching this pup ran across her mind several times, each time it was dismissed. -At least until she has a zoid.- She also thought about what Kyrea was doing. It had been three months since she had seen her with the newbie pilots. Nick was sure she would be happy to hear about what had happened with the empire... or possibly get information on them. Weather or not Nick was willing to share that information was another story. -I wonder what Ky would have done with the pup. Probably rip her more of a new one than I did.- Nick looked up at Blaze. -too much thinking...-
Dreamer:
Titus partly opened one eye to look at Nick, she didn't seem like she was planning to go to sleep. And she looked to be in deep thought, too deep of thought.
"You know, thinking is good...but too much can kill ya..." Titus closed her eye the rest of the way as she lazily responded sounding like she was tired and could sleep, But she couldn't. Sure she was tired but not the kind of tiredness that lets you go to sleep.
"Seriously,...I've seen it" She dryly spoke in a playful manner, but showed no smile, it was true. And not some thing to take lightly.
Titus rolled over to her side so that her uninjured shoulder leaned agents the door, Her back shown to Nick.
On Titus' lower back was the imperial crest, Her shirt usually covered the tattoo, but how she sat it reviled the Mark, a Brand. She didn't choose to have it. She was 'owned' by the faction. Found orphaned she was raised in the military. You would think her more obedient...nope, not Titus. She was too strong to be broken by such. The only one she would truly listen too and respect was Joy, her mentor; until now.
-What could she be thinking about...Maybe a life past...- Titus sighed.
-Why? Dose she stay...why?....- the question kept beating her up.
-Why...No one had before...since...- Titus rested her arm under her head agents the door. Not showing outwardly the struggle she was facing.
"Why...why?-Why do you stay?..." She sounded confused for the first time since she had first meet her. And spoke as If she wouldn't get an answer as she hardly did with her.
"Why are you so different?...." Her voice was still quite and she sounded as if she was speaking to her self. Almost pleading and not expecting an answer. She didn't look back once at Nick as she spoke
Everyone had left her, But yet she remain. Sniper"
Nick looked over at Tidus. Had she really been wondering that all the time? There was always a simple answer, one that she decided to stick with. "Because I can... Do I really need a good reason?" She spoke as she looked forward again. "You were an ally. You would have done it for me. You are just a pup. You would make good company. I need someone to kill and send back to the empire as a warning... Take you pick if you don't like the first answer, bur remember some actions don't always need explaining, they just happen." Dreamer:
Titus still didn't face Nick. Was it so simple? She wanted to believe the last of the choices. that would help understand her decision, but resent actions proved otherwise.
The bullet shot. The drawing of the gun showed willingness. The pulling of the trigger showed commitment. The Aim just showed her control. But the lack of hesitation proved that she would kill Titus if she needed to. She was for lack of better words a perfect soldier. No...she was more then that. -Is it really that simple?...so simple but yet so hard to believe-
"...hmm..." Titus hummed to let her know that she was heard.
Maybe some things were that simple. Titus' life hadn't been as such. Though she expressed it in such a simple manner, It helped in covering up what really happened. Some call it running, others a way of copping with the past. She called living with it the only way she knew how. Sheltered in a way, but not innocent.
Sniper:
There is not a meaning to everything in the world. That’s the problem is everyone is always looking for a meaning to everything. Is it really that hard to accept that not everything has a meaning? What is, is... It happens because it can."
Nick made no movement to look at Tidus as she spoke. Thinking about the meaning too much is not healthy.
"Don't think too much into it in other words..." She added as a final comment on the subject.
Kagi snorted as the two continued to carry on the conversation. All he wanted to know was why that woman wasn't dead yet.
Dreamer:
-Everything...has a meaning...Everything, happens for a reason. - Titus believed that true, but decided not to argue about it. Maybe at a more necessary time….
"...Okay..." Titus spoke softy. It was so hard not to think about it though, She had gotten use to being alone after Songbird died. Of course she had Fate...but it wasn't the same. No one cared, but those two. Sure she was provided with the necessities to live, taught to fight, trained how to kill, grown to fit her Military perfection, and worked on to survive. But never truly someone to look after her till she was ten. And that unknown luxury ended at the age of fourteen, with her mentors death.
"...Thank you." Titus allowed a pause before she spoke, not for Nick but for her self. Those two simple words at that moment seem so hard to say. She had said them before; but those times it didn't carry the same meaning. The other times, it lack something else. Something it didn't as she spoke them now with her voice still soft and quite voice.

Sniper
Nick pushed herself up from the wall, with Kagi following after. She looked down on Tidus and shook her head. Reaching around her neck she took off her sterling silver necklace with a wing and cross pendant on it. In the center of the pendant and in the middle of the cross was a gold crown with three diamonds on it. In each dimond the letters, in order from left to right, "H"F"S". Meant to be read from middle to right to left. On for each point on the cross. "Lighten up..." She said coldly and tossed the necklace at her. It was the only thing she had to chuck at Tidus at the moment... she would have her gloves but they were covered in Tidus' own blood and nick was sure that wouldn't help.
Than she walked off toward the hanger's entrance, folding her arms across her chest. Kagi followed, looking back at his enemy several times as they walked.
Dreamer:
-...Go to sleep, lighten up...make up your mind...Ow!-Titus winched a bit as she was hit in the head with the trinket. -...What the?...-
"Hmm?..." she rubbed the back of her head and looked back and up expecting to see Nick towering over her. But her eye caught Nick as she pasted by her. She had thrown something at her? If so what?
"Huh?..." Titus dropped her hand from her head and moved to see what had hit her. - A necklace?...- She picked it up with her left hand, leaning her back agents the door once again. -H...F...S...- She examined the Intrusting object. Sighing she show a smile. And looked back over at Nick as she made her way to the entrance. It looked important why did she throw it away?
Titus enclosed her hand around the necklace as it rested in her palm. Dropping it land in her lap still holding on to the necklace. Relaxing her head agent the door she rested her eyes once more. - Fine then...-
Sniper:
Nick continued to walk out of the hanger quietly, giving Blaze a pat on the foot as she walked by. -Why didn't I just leave.- She thought as she looked around the ghost town. There must have been a battle here, or a sneak attack. Nick continued to a rundown bar. Boards covered the windows and a large sign with the faded letters on it "BAR". The door was completely gone leaving a dark room in view. "You probably would have done the same thing too huh Blaze. That's why... you would have." She sighed.
Kagi followed along side Nick quietly.
Dreamer:
She leaving.... -
Titus studied the foots-steps made by Nick as she exited the hanger. She couldn't sleep and technically she wasn't told to so....why not fallow her. Titus made her way to her feet vary quietly, struggling at first to get to a full stand. She was tired but not sleepy.
She could feel the pain in her shoulder but not like anyone else would. The pain was numbed to a dull blunt touching feeling. Sure she couldn't feel the pain as much as another. But she still suffered the consequences of the toll a wound takes from the body. Some call it a gift, but she took it more as a curse. It was an experiment, a successful one.
Her arm laid effortlessly at her side as she stood up she couldn't feel the pain as anyone else would. She still held on to the tossed trinket as she unknowingly made hardly a sound as she walked out of the hanger, fallowing Nick's steps. she was quite to do so, She was trying to be snicky in anyway. But her quite movements would stated otherwise, nothing more then a programed skill. As she fallowed it look like the kinda of action a stary puppy would take when finding a owner. Sheepish about every movement, though she was quite about it. Sniper"
Blaze looked at Tidus briefly, but did not make a sound to alert Nick of her movements. Instead he looked forward and readied for anything that my harm the two.
Nick continued for the worn down bar... might as well look though the buildings to see if there is anything of use. The whole time she walked she though of the past events and what to do next. Her whole train of thought was interrupted by Kagi's low doomy growl. Nick looked back to see Tidus coming her way. Placing a hand on Kagi to keep him still she spoke softly.
"And what are you doing up?" Dreamer:
"Hmm?..." Stopping she looked up from the ground as Nick spoke, ignoring the threating growl. The stick flicked loosely to the other side of her mouth.
"Me? Uhh...well..." Straitening up Titus made a small nervous laugh as she rubbed the back of her head warring a sheepish look.
"I...umm-you only told me to rest...and..." Titus glanced back at the hanger and Blaze before looking back at Nick and Kagi.
"...I tho-" She paused
"...I couldn't sleep." Sighing she dropped her left hand back to her side as she explained herself
She was going to say something else but though it best not to. Sniper:
Nick folded her hands over her chest as Tidus spoke. With a rolling of the eyes and a sigh she walked over to Tidus' side.
"Than that would make two of us..." By now she found it pointless to force Tidus to do anything. She could use force, but at the moment she didn't feel like it.
Kagi stared into Tidus' eyes with his own greedy ones. Teh low growl continued as he felt competition for attention. Nick only patted his head to try and calm him down.
Dreamer:
Titus made a small smile as Nick approached her. Out of the corner of her eye as she look up at Nick she noticed the orgainod staring her down. And she couldn't help but feel like he was doing so out of envy and competition. -...What are you looking at...- She held back the desire to growl back at the Zoid. Titus looked back at Kagi in the eyes for only a moment before looking back at Nick.
"Oh yeah?" Titus made another small laugh as she looked at Nick's assumed destination. Sniper
Nick nodded slightly at Tidus' comment than looked back at the Bar. Drinking wasn't her thing, she had had only two, by accent, drinks of beer and thought it to be disgusting. This building was conveniently the closest thing to the hanger.
She looked down at Tidus for a moment than back at the Bar. With another sigh she removed her shades, folded them neatly and hung them on the collar of her over coat. It was pointless to hide it from Tidus, she already saw it... and if anyone else were to come by she could quickly slip them back on. Though Nick Preyed no one else would come by.
As soon as the shades were secure she continued for the bar, looking back to see if Tidus would follow. -You really are a pup aren’t you- Nick thought as a small, hard to see, smirk appeared on her face.
Kagi moved as close to Nick as he possibly could. -Mine- he thought as he also looked back at Tidus and than at Nick. -Mine, mine...MINE- Dreamer:
Titus glanced back at Nick just as she was taking off her glasses then to the warn out building -...eh alcohol...revolting-huh wait!...- Titus Made a double take at Nick just in enough time to she her passing it hadn't occurred to her at first. She took of her glasses. She could understand how it was It was pointless, but in a way to Titus seem to say something more. Titus showed a wide grin as she jogged happily to catch up with Nick opposite from Kagi. Stopping beside her she looked up at her with that smile for a moment, then back forward to the bar. Nothing was needed to be said it was all shown in that smile.
Sniper:
Nick looked down at Tidus than forward at the Bar's door. A small grin rolled across her face as she stared into the dark room. From what here eye could see there was tipped over and broken tables, chairs, and old mugs. There were old Kegs, busted open and dry, behind the worn counter.
"This town, the people, must have been driven out over here quite a while ago..." Nick took another glance around the room as she spoke.
"That damaged zoid in the hanger... it was destroyed by a CPB. I wonder if our new friend had anything to do with that... this whole town for that matter." Nick commented after her second look around the room.
Kagi looked over at Tidus and grunted, but with his master's hand on him he would not dare move to attack this new enemy...
Dreamer:
Titus fallowed beside Nick as they approached the Bar entrance. The town was deserted and barren. Thought rather then concentrating on the town Titus was now focused on her own thoughts and actions. Strange considering that she was always so focused on everything else. Why was she acting the way she was, she want to fallow Nick around. She had never done that to anyone; her mentor was the only exception. But why, ever since the moment they first meet. Did the organiod have something to do with it maybe? One thing she knew for sure was that Kagi didn't take to fondly of her to say the least.
"Just another forgotten world..." Titus vaguely mumbled in a sighed she hadn't meant for it to be spoken; it just came out. She had seen this kind of sight before, Just not seen it but have caused it. - Got to love war...- she sarcastically thought as she shook her head.
All her life she was meant to be nothing but a mere tool, a special crafted on at that. She had believed that all her life it was all she knew, but Songbird thought her, showed her more then that.
" I wouldn't be surprised...." Titus looked up at Nick as she spoke, before proceeding ahead of Nick. She had not purposely done so, it was more of a subconscious action.
She stopped a few steps ahead of Nick, puzzled at her own recent action.
" Why do you think our little friend wanted to play with us..."
She scanned the room before looking back at Nick as if she had planed to move ahead of her the whole time. The poor lighting didn't really affect Titus sight; call it a bonus to being an experiment all your life. Sniper"
As soon as Tidus pulled ahead of Nick she put her shades back on and scanned the town. There didn't look like there would be much in there, but it would be best to check it very carefully. It took a little for her to respond to the question asked. She was trying to think of that herself, but mainly was because she had to force herself to answer.
" I don't know. It seemed to know what it wanted." She spoke seriously before she stepped into the bar.
Not once did she look at Tidus as she entered. Instead her focus was on the bar itself. On the back wall, just out of view of the door, was seven adult skeletons and three children... much smaller. They were all leaned against the wall as if they had been either cowering there or tied up and placed there. Possibly a combination of both. The bodes themselves were gruesome to look at. There was still some rotting flesh clinging to the bones. All the adults had a crushed frontal lobe while the children had broken necks. Each, the adults and children, had one thing in common with their injuries... a long cross from the lower part of the eye and extending across the cheek. This mark etched deeply into the bone.
Nick looked at the corpses and grit her teeth a bit. That mark was familiar, but what got her the most was the fact there were children and no doubt they were all murdered in gruesome, painful ways.
"I'm starting to think everyone in the town is still here..." Nick spoke as she walked toward the Bar counter to see behind it. Just seeing those bodies gave her more of the overall dark feeling of this ghost town.
Kagi looked over the bar as well, but his feeling about it was more along the lines of. -My things are safe...- and -what is that? looks familiar... but at the same time it doesn't - The Skeletons had provided the same shape as humans... but they were all see through and weird looking. He was ready incase one of them tries to attach his property... though that was unlikely.
Dreamer:
Titus tilted her head as she noticed Nick had replaced her glasses. Fallowing her gaze/direction she was looking she caught the sight of the cowering corps'. She had missed the bodies at first scan of the room? What was with her? She normally wouldn't missed such a thing. Titus sighed and looked to the side and down. - it did cause this...those poor souls...children, reminisces of forgotten lives...they are all still here..-
As Titus looked down she noticed the necklace was still held in her hand. Looking up Titus realized that Nick had started toward the counter. Making another look at the corpses she pulled her self away and joined Nick at the counter.
"Hay..." Titus spoke with a soft voice as a child would to ask something, or to get another’s attention. Looking up at Nick any sign of joy was removed, she looked more serious then she ever had since meeting Nick, sadness reflected in her eyes though that hardly was shown, because she didn't know how to.
" You shouldn't throw something like this away..." Titus held out an opened hand to Nick, were the tossed Item rested. She wasn't trying to change the subject, but rather return something important. Titus still looked up at Nick, with her concentrated eyes.
" I don't like the feeling about this town...It would be best not to stay long..." Once again there was that personality change.
Sniper:
Nick looked back at Tidus as she spoke about the necklace. She shook her head and gently pushed the hand back.
"Keep it... It 'looks' important. For a while it was to me. But remember it's only an item. Compared to some things it is as important as a blade of grass. "
She looked over the counter seeing more bodies mercilessly stacked on each other. All with the same cross scar carved into the bones. It only took a quick look at that before she looked back at Tidus.
"Maybe it can teach you a few more things about non military life..." Dreamer:
- What?...- Titus looked back at that the Necklace as her hand was pushed back. - A blade of grass...- To Titus her life in the military was a blade of grass. Not important. But it was all she knew and regretfully she was good at it. At times she could be so cold it wasn't what you could call human. All she knew her whole life was the military, how could there be something different. -Why?...- once again the question pierced the back of her mind.
Silently Titus nodded and placed the Necklace around her Neck as best as she could with one hand. She would say thank you at a more appropriate time then this.
She didn't have to look over the counter to already know what was there.
"They all bare the same mark..." Titus didn't care to look over the counter. - Arch...How did he survive?...Everyone here is dead...they all hold the same mark...-
"I don't like it here..." she growled softly in a whisper as she glanced back at the entrance. But she would leave Nick. Something told her, wanted her to stay.
Sniper
It must be like a calling card, warning... or perhaps something else." Nick headed toward the exit, pausing to wait for Tidus to exit first.
"It would be pointless to look for anything of use here. Everything is dead." She shook her head and focused out side. Dreamer:
Titus fallowed Nick to the Exit. It was pointless to stay. Titus stopped as Nick did. What was she doing? Titus looked up at Nick with a puzzled look at first, and then got the Idea. Huffing she proceeded out the exit, still watching Nick out of the corner of her eye. Making sure she would fallow.
"Your right..." Sniper:
Nick followed closely behind Tidus, scanning the area more carefully than she had before. Kagi was more alert than she was. He could feel how tense she had gotten.
"We'll spend the night here... but leave first thing in the morning. I don't like this place."
Dreamer:
As they left the Bar Titus moved to the side of Nick once again opposite from Kagi. Take one more look back Titus then looked up at Nick as she spoke.
"Me either, leaving sounds good..."
Sniper"
Nick glanced around the town as she headed back to the hanger. The feeling of death loomed in the air. It was not pleasant.
" Get some rest, We'll leave as soon as you are rested. " Nick looked at Tidus, but only to make sure she was following. Dreamer:
Me?" she laughed in a ‘whatever’ kind of manner. She recognized the feeling of death; it was vary uncomfortable, but something she had to live with most of her life. She learned that it's better to cope with it if not dwelt on. There was nothing she could do about it know. Detached. Wanting to feel remorse, but not able to.
"...What about you..." Titus fallowed along side Nick as they headed back to the Hanger. She wasn't necessarily asking a question, as heard in her tone of voice. she didn't bother to look around the town, though she was alert, her attention was still on Nick
Titus had to walk faster then normal to keep up with Nick's stride, once again vary puppy like. Sniper:
Nick looked back at Tidus with an emotionless stair. The look only lasted a moment before she focused ahead once again.
"I'll get sleep... I need to pilot the zoid. Kagi will keep watch." Nick shook her head.
"So maybe you should sleep in Blaze's cockpit... I can't watch him in my sleep."
Nick than made a quick guess as to what was next. "And yes... That IS an order. Millitary rank or not I have the upper hand here. I WILL use force if needed." Dreamer:
Titus stared back at Nick, as she looked away her gaze only lasted a second more before she looked ahead too. - an order...heh, she ceatching on...eh whatever- Nick had made a correct guess as to what was Next.
"Fine...I'll lay down..." she rested her 'good' hand on the Stick that was still in her mouth.
" But, I'm not sleeping in the Pit..." She still looked forward as she spoke, and she would keep her words.
Sniper
Nick shook her head as Tidus stated she refused to sleep in the pit. "Fine, than." For now, Nick was too tired to try and force Tidus in the pit... she had a feeling Tidus was one to put up a fight. She may be a pup, but Nick did see a good fighter in her. She took a seat in front of Blaze's mouth than looked at the ground, not speaking a word more. Kagi did Lay down next to Nick and gave another greedy glare to Tidus.
Dreamer:
Titus looked back at Nick with an amused surprised face before looking forward again. - What?...No argument?....She must be tired-
Titus fallowed Nick to Blaze, as she sat down Titus backed off a bit. Finding herself a nice piece of ground. Looking down at it she felt like she was being stared at. Looking up she noticed Kagi's glare, and matched it with her own but not long enough to start anything - Bite Me...- She wanted to speak it out loud but Nick seemed to be tired. And Titus knew Kagi would take it literary there for causing more stress on Nick, for her sake she held her tongue and kept her thoughts to her self.
Flopping down to her spot, she lied on her back, - So weird...- Yawning she rolled over to her non injured side, her back facing Kagi and Nick, It wasn't meant as a rude gesture. Just Titus was still getting use to the fact that others were around that actually seemed to care. Sniper:
Nick caught the tail end if the short glare match. She rubbed Kagi's head gently, briefly looking at Tidus before looking forward again.
"I'll make sure nothing happens to you Ty. " This was said, though in a semi cold tone, in regards to Kagi being a sneaky boy in the night as they slept, but the way it sounded covered a wider range than that. As for the nick name, Nick was just too tired and lazy at the moment to finish it.
Why? Not even Nick knew why. This pup was annoying... or so she had a gotten that feeling at first. But it was nice to have company that wasn't going to kill you. (( This is overlooking the fact that was the first intent. ))
Nick leaned her head on Kagi's and quickly dozed off.
The look in Kagi's eyes gave the feeling he was still awake and alert... especially focused on Tidus. Any movements from her and he was ready. Blaze was also awake, but very silent. Dreamer:
Titus had closed her eyes before Nick spoke. But they soon opened again as she did. - Ty?...- Titus lifted her head slightly But soon rested it again. That was deep, yet to some so simple. But to someone that had never heard those words for more then four years. To some like Titus that meant a lot, even spoken as such it was still spoken.
Titus closed her eyes once more " I have your back...I'll look out for you..." Titus whispered before curling up a little. -You wont know it...but I will...-
It still haunted her, why was she acting as such? The Riddle it self was annoying. But she would stay and keep her word. She had came to a conclusion: everything has a meaning...But some meanings aren’t always to be known.
Sniper" Nick rest her head on the organoid and did not move through the night. That night her head was filled with several confusing dreams about things that would be hard to explain and annoying to read.
When Nick awoke it was still night. She was unsure of what time it actually was and how long she had been asleep... First thing she did was look over to Tidus than to Kagi, who was still awake and glaring at Tidus. Dreamer:
During the time Nick had been sleeping, Titus had been too; but for not as long.
When she awoke she looked over her shoulder to see that Nick was still asleep and Kagi was still eyeing her. She couldn’t sleep that well, the sight of the forgotten villagers evidently bugged her more subconsciously then she realized. Another thing she couldn't understand. Not wanting to sleep again she quietly move to the entrance of the Hanger; stopping just outside the door she undid the Sword and sheaf from her back. Holding on to the sheaf she drew the blade and watched the reflection of herself slide across the damaged blade. Dropping the sheaf to her side, she grabbed onto her sword with both hands as she aimed it downward to the ground. Trusting the sword into the ground she dropped to her knees and rested her head on the hilt of the broken sword. She couldn't cry though she felt like it. Her dream, she couldn't remember it but the feeling of it remained. What bug her so much? She didn’t even know
Her hands remained on the grip as she fell back to sleep, agents her will. How she could sleep in such a way even with her wounded shoulder remained a mystery, there she remained and still slept
Sniper:
Nick looked back where Tidus had been. -gone?- Slowly she got to her feet and looked around. After patting Kagi n the head, a signal for him to stay, she looked around the hanger, expecting the pup to have run away. But when she caught sight of her sleeping and holding on to the sword she couldn't help but chuckle quietly.
Quietly she walked over to Tidus and crouched down and scooped her up, minding her hands were still on the blade. Dreamer:
As first Titus' hands tighten on the handle for a moment, but soon slipped free as she was scooped up. Not stirring as she allowed her self to be picked up. She was usually a vary light sleeper, But at times she could be Mistaken for dead.
"Please...I don't want to...do I have to?..." she pleaded vary softy, obviously she was still sleeping. her words were soft and sounded almost childlike.
-...It wont be that painful, it's for the life of others...We need you to win this War...- The voice of a ‘scientist’ pledged her dream as she slept.
"Please...don't make me...You said, you wouldn't let them...Nothing would happen, you wouldn't allow it?...Remember?..." Titus curled up a little bit. Her voice still soft, as her closed eyes scrunched harder together.
-It's different now....Don't be selfish! It's the last of our experiments...Besides if you don't comply--...you know too much, they wont allow-...-
Her eyes remain closed as she still slept, the dream if you can call it that was a shadow of her past of a younger age. Sniper
Nick looked down as Tidus started to speak. At first she thought Tidus was talking to her, but after she looked down she realized it was just a dream. -nightmare... poor pup.- Gently she lay Tidus down in front of Blaze. Nick couldn't help but wonder what she was dreaming about. By the sound it must be painful... After she lay her down she removed her long overcoat and pulled it over Tidus.
Dreamer:
Titus continued not stir as she was carried over to Blaze and was laid down. Seemingly the nightmare had passed, she still remained a bit tense but soon relaxed a bit more as she was covered.
"nn..."Titus pulled the new found blanket, she hadn't awoke as she pulled it more over her shoulder.
-...huh?...- Titus opened her eyes party as she awoke from the temperature change and movement. She had been moved? The answer came soon the more she thought about it. Nick had moved her, It was even now her own coat covered her.
She was wide awake, and she didn't want to go back to sleep. It would start again if she did. the thing that she despised most, she was continually reminded of when she slept. That thing was her childhood past. It you could even call it a childhood.
"your...awake..." Titus Mumbled softly as she remained still.
"...The sun isn't even up..." Her voice was slightly raspy, but she sounded cheerful. As she sat up rubbed the back of her head and yawned, giving off the impression that she could still sleep. Though she was wide awake. and hadn't realized that
Sniper:
Nick looked back at Tidus as she mumbled to her. That same flash of a dull red happened as she looked back. She was awake...
"Are you feeing better?" Was the first thing that passed her lips, she heard the previous statements and question, but decided not to answer them. As for Nick's tone, it was not harsh, nor too kind. There was concern in there but not greatly shown.
Kagi the whole time sat down eyeing Tidus with great greed and a bit more hate than usual. If that all is possible... Quietly he growled to himself as he went over several ways to take this enemy down.
Dreamer:
Titus yawn once more as she dropped her hand from the back of her head. she didn't mind the creepy glow from Nick's eye. It was strange though, she smiled back.
Titus tilted her head at the question as if it was puzzling to her, -why would she ask that?...-
"...eh...yeah?..." Titus looked down as she answered; he smile half way gone as she was reminded of her sleep. She wasn't necessarily lying, she was feeling better in the long run...wasn't she?
Sniper"
Nick walked over to Tidus, Kagi growling the whole time, and placed a hand on her forehead. She chuckled slightly as she withdrew it. "Good than. Are you ready to leave this place or would you rather rest a bit more." The coldness in her tone returned. AS she looked at Tidus she made no attempt to retrieve her coat.
Dreamer:
" Eh?..." Titus looked up as she felt Nick's hand on her floorhead. Titus at first was a bit taken back at the action. But soon answered non the less.
"Yeah...But only if you are rested and ready...I don't want you passing out on me..." Titus stubbornly spoke
"...or worst" she laughed but she was serious as she held the coat up with a smile.
" Thank you..." Sniper:
"I'll be fine... if I DO pass out than Blaze is smart enough to stop. Besides I have you there so I won't pass out by myself." She spoke as she walked toward Kagi. Nick looked back at Tidus as she said thank you, but did not say anything. The look in itself said that she had accepted the thanks. "I don't know what worse there can be from being too tired aside from being cranky. Unless you meant that as the worse, than you would be right." She shook her head laughing a bit.
Dreamer:
Titus made her way to her feet rubbing the back of her head as she was left with the coat. Titus watched as Nick walked away. First the Necklace, now the coat. Titus looked back to the coat then back to Nick. Making a small laugh she smiled.
" If you say so..." she shrugged still holding on to the coat. Titus wanted to fallow Nick but thought it best not to fallow, mainly because of Kagi Sniper
Nick looked back at Tidus as she held onto her long coat. She wasn't following? -Ah, Kagi.- She thought with a laugh. With that in mind she walked back toward Tidus. "The coat you cannot have." She extended a hand toward Tidus.
Kagi looked back at Nick as she turned away. -MINE?!- She thought with a louder growl as she walked back toward Tidus. And with a snort he walked, ran rather, to her side.
Dreamer:
Titus wasn't intemanated by Kagi at all, but rather that she got the obvious idea that Kagi wanted Nick all to himself. And thought it best to back off for a little while, Though she didn't want to. It was Nick's sake.
"what?..." titled her head as Nick laughted, Not to mention it was also for the fact that Nick approched her.
"...Okay..." Titus smiled and handed over the coat. Sniper:
Nick took the coat and quickly slipped it on and buttoned it up. Even than she did not leave Tidus' side. "Thanks." She nodded than finally turned round and begun to walk toward the other side of Blaze's head. -Let's see...- This, if anything was more of a test. Dreamer:
Titus looked at the sword that now decerated the Hanger entrance. She wasn't sapose to leave anything that was to leave a trace. But she didn't want the sword anymore. She didn't know why but she didn't care to take it with her.
Titus looked back at Nick as she seid 'Thanks'. Looking up at her she smiled
" Mmmhm..." Titus watch Nick walk to the other side of Blaze. Titus fallowed, but only to the corner of Blaze's head facing Nick. Nick made it sound like she was going to let her go with her. Didn't she?
Titus looked at Blaze and then sheepishly over to Nick.
Sniper"
Nick looked back at Tidus and laughed. Holding her stomach for a moment. -yup.- "Blaze, let's get out of here."
Blaze did as told and opened up the cockpit as wide as it could go.
"You, you are amusing Ty." She finished laughing with that statement and jumped into the cockpit. She was so amused that she nearly forgot about the arm. Slowly she peeked over the side. "Need help in?"
Dreamer:
Titus watch Nick with a confused look on her face. Did she do something funny? looking around Titus didn't see anything too 'funny'. What was she laughing at...so...confused. - Did I miss something?...-
"Eh?..." Titus rubbed the back of her head and made a small smile, she was still vary much confused and it showed on her face.
" Am I?...Eh heh, Thank you?..." Titus watch as Nick hoped into the Pit. She still had no idea what was going on.
" You mean,...I can come?" She laughted a little as she watched Nick's head slowly pop up over the edge as she stopped rubbing the back of her head. Dropping her hand back to her side, She knew that her question had an obvious answer but that didn't stop her from asking it. Sniper:
Nick shook her head at the pup's question. She was so much like a little puppy it was amusing. "I wouldn't have asked if you needed help if I didn't want you to come..." Dreamer:
"...Heh. Yeah, your right..." She laughed sheepishly as she dropped her head at the obvious answer for a stupid question. -...I deserved that....-
Titus made for the pit. A vary easy task right? resting her good arms hand on the Blaze's 'Nose'. Forgetting about her wounded arm she tried to raise it but it barely moved as she felt a dull, not painful pressure in her shoulder. She lacking the ability to feel any serious pain, It was a crippling factor that could cost someone there life. Dropping her arm once again she started in to the Pit. It was rather bother some not being able to use her dominant arm.
Sniper
Nick watched on as Tidus tried to get into the pit. It was sad watching to be honest. After a moment of this entertainment she leaned over and pulled Tidus in. She wasn't too rough, but at the same time she wasn't very gentle. "You could have asked..."
Kagi took his place on Blaze's back. He still was not crazy about the idea of this meat bag coming along.
Dreamer:
Titus started to make her way in the pit.
Eyha!..." next thing she knew was that she had a 'little' boost in to the pit.
*thud* "uh...I w--Thank you...I'll remieber that next time." Titus made a small laugh as she rubbed the back of her head after the landing
Sniper:
Nick shook her head slowly as Tidus got in fully. "Better." She spoke quietly, but clearly.
As soon as Ty was in the cockpit closed and Blaze stood up, ready to leave this place. Even he was unsure of this ghost town. Nick backed out of the hanger slowly, looking around the area. No sign of the Judge anywhere.... After they were backed out she thrust on the booster and speed off trying to put great distance between them and the town. "What now. " Dreamer:
Titus huffed a little as she heard Nick's remark.
As Blaze boosted off Titus was more perpared to brace heself for the boost. That still didn't stop her from getting slammed in to the back of the pit.
"Eha-...What ever..." Titus grunted as she pulled her self forward to look over the seat at Nick" I have no ware I need or to go."
Sniper"
You and me both..." Nick looked back and slowed Blaze down to a trot. There was no point in continuing at such a speed with no destination. Plus the thought came to mind that it was uncomfortable for Tidus to be crammed at the back of the cockpit. She pressed a button and a map came up with a list of all the cities in the area. She studied it and her own position carefully.
Dreamer:
"You don't...that's right...well what do you-" Titus became distracted by the map that popped up. -hmm...we're here and...- Titus Scanned the Map with her eyes. Then looked back down at Nick Sniper:
"What do I what?" Nick looked over her shoulder at Tidus as she begun to speak. It was kind of obvious that she was amused by the flashy map and the lights on it. To be honest she was too, no matter how many times she has seen that thing it always managed to amuse her by its shininess.
Dreamer:
Titus had been memorizing the locations of the Map as it popped up. It was shiny and was amusing, she hadn't realized that she trailed off. Something like a map Titus had always been trained to memorize it, call it impulsive second nature. But it was rather tranceing to look at it. so she did.
"hmm...Wha? oh right! Sorry...What do you think? "
Sniper
" I think a lot of things...." She chuckled. "Probably drift around until a good place to settle comes up." Nick looked at the map. " I wish I could find Kyrea...." Ky might be able to help in their little situation, but than again she was opposite in the military line. Heh, but they were team mates..
Dreamer:
Titus looked back down at Nick as she spoke. Who was this 'Kyrea'.
"Drifting is fine...But who's this Kyrea?" She sounded curious as her head tilted a little to the Name
Titus remembered reading something in the report that was given...But that was a pack of lies. Wasn't it. Yeah...well to an extent anyway....right? -Kyrea.Kyrea.Kyrea,...- Why did it sound so familure?
Sniper:
"Kyrea is my team mate from the team Impulse." Not that the name mattered, but it might help ring a bell or two. "I haven't seen her in months and I believe she may be able to help me."
It felt awkward saying that. It was only a moment later she realized she used "me" and not "us". Nick had no Idea how Ky would react to Tidus. Ky was a harsh person and was in Nick's top list of people to respect... actually she was up there with two others one of which was already dead.
"You may have to keep low if we find her." Dreamer:
Ah...really..." Titus sounded interested as looked up from Nick it was really one of the only times that she was able to, being as tall as she was. She looked forward. Kyrea...that Name...it still bugged her. Team impulse. That name helped, but it still wasn't clicking. Titus sighed a bit. She just hoped that this,...Kyrea and her hadn't met before, under any undermining circumstances. Such as being undercover and on any other "imperial" Missions.
Keep low...that was easy for her to do she had her whole life from other, in fact even now.
"Okay..." she smiled, though a smile it was a bit unsure Sniper"
"That's a good pup..." Nick chuckled. It slipped out, she couldn't help it. Tidus was so much like a pup, it was amusing. Nick looked ahead, she was constantly checking the scanner of any zoid that may be approaching them. Ever since that one zoid she has been a little bit more on the edge.
Dreamer:
Titus breathed a small quite laugh at Nick comment. Where was all of this going to take her. What about that mysterious person and it's Zoid. That town. How was she going to get a Zoid. To many questions. Eh whatever time and life will tell. But one thing did trouble her, what if the empire was to know that she was alive. She didn't want to be dragged back there. but then again it was all she knew.
Titus slumped back a bit in the pit, relaxing a bit. Looking outside the pit she tried to let her thoughts drift. Ryugen:
The Mua'dib crouched down low to the ground, it's sensative ears straining for sounds of life. It was a curious sort of Zoid, extraordinarily small, but then it wasn't built for the same end as most, and it suited Ousal Hayt just fine. He was leaned back in the cockpit seat, eyes half lidded as though he were about to drift into sleep as the other Zoid aproached. Only when it's approach into his 'line of sight' continues does he finaly sit forward, resting his hands on his knees for a moment before working to try and dissern something about the approaching ZOID. "Good Morning, Good Morning....." He noted, thoughtfuly, as he studied data displays. "Who are you and what are you doing up?" Nothing good he rather imagined, but who could tell? Maybe he could pick up something from their transmissions or the like, that might tell him something before he had to make an run for it. Sniper:
Nick froze when her COM link went off. The person on the other side didn't seem bad, but in their position they had to be careful with what they did and who they talked to. "We are just traveling..." She adjusted her shades and jammed the visual transmitter so that it would be impossible to transmit images between the two zoids. Blaze was busy trying to pick up the location of this zoid.
Dreamer:
Titus eyes shifted as Nick spoke, She didn't move an Inch nor did she make a sound. Though it didn't seem like it at times, and even now. She was a soldier, one formerly trained in the art of nonexistences and deceit. She would just listen and observe. As it was she had a feeling that she would be doing a lot of that...considering. She was after all 'Dead'. First things first was to find out who this visitor was. Imperial , Republic...either way she was in a bad position with both sides...She had been a spy and was considered by most, untrustworthy. Heh, that was her life...not a chosen one. But still a life. though this Nick seemed to be different. But even that, they had only just meet and not at best of circumstances. And that’s putting it lightly
Ryugen:
Oops! When the devil had he leaned on the com button? He had to stop thinking out loud, giving away his position like it was a game of Marko-Polo. "What a coincidence. Aren't we all?" He himself was a mixed name most likely, if you knew who he was at all. A spy for the Imperials, loyal to the boy prince, this made his favor perhaps a bit in question with the Imperials in a state of inner turmoil, and likely no freind to the Republic if they learned he and his stealthy little Zoid were there to gather information. He had openly chosen his own life, and would have fought tirelessly to avoid being pigeonholed into a cause he had no beleif in. He saw no point in turning into the dirt under someone's heel, perhaps making his Zoid seem a little ironic, given it's pseudo delicate, mouse-look.
Sniper
It's a hobby now a days." Nick looked down at Blaze's radar, he got a faint blip of something, but it vanished along with the transition. Not enough time to get anything for sure. The worst part was Nick had no idea who or where this man was from, he gave nothing away. Nick urged Blaze to continue forward, maybe they could just smoothly walk away from him.
Ryugen:
So it is..." He agreed conversationaly, relaxing slightly as he toyed with his own equiptment, trying to get a better feel for these people. Were they actually traveling? Was there a chance they were part of some greater move against the empire? He'd have to search for patterns to be more sure. This was more like studying a thread and trying to imagine the weave it had been part of. Dreamer:
Titus remined quite and unoticable for the most part. She was just as good as being invisable as she was being noticalble. She would see how things woulld play out... Sniper: Nick looked down at the COM speaker. Did she dare continue to talk to this person? There was no hint of who he was, not even where he was. Though she had a great sniping zoid this other zoid was hard to pick up on. She shook her head. Maybe he would just leave them alone? Hmm... This could be dangerous. And with Tidus in the cockpit she was unable to go into sniper mode if she needed to. As she thought on this she looked back at the pup. No, best keep going forward.
Dreamer:
Titus eye's moved from the radar, Blaze seemed to have a hard time locating there little guest. This was dangerious. Emany or foe? And if something was to brake out; Blaze's main wepon, was unuseable with Titus in the pit. Titus looked up from her thoughts as she noticed after a bit that Nick looked up at her. Her contomplating face changed as she looked back, she showed a farownfull smile. To speak for her as she remain soundless. 'Yeah, i know....' wordless but still spoken on her face.
