In September, I got a rash like thing on my neck. Since I was showing my cat at State fair I figured it was an allergic reaction. In October, it was still there so I saw a doctor. He said it was exima and all I needed was some cream. I used the cream and it got worse. By that I mean it spread further up my neck and turned dark red. Now, I almost always wear my hair up because I HATE it down. Some kids at school started asking me why I had hickeys on my neck, so I started wearing my hair down. I totally hate it. People laugh at me and I'm ready to rip my hair out. I feel horribly, so when my hair is up, I wear my hoodie zipped up to cover my neck but it doesn't work. I would like to add that I can't use cover up because I'm allergic to most make up. I just need to complain because my Mom keeps saying I look fine and I'm over exagerating it. Please post any ideas on what to do to cover it up, besides wearing turtle-necks everyday.

You know, I'd be pissed off if people laughed at me over something I couldn't control. I say wear your hair up and if people ask you about it, tell them what it is. If they laugh, tell them to shove it. Don't hide it just because people are morons.
I wish I could help it go away, but unfortunately, I can't. :c It's just something you have to accept. It'll be hard, but once you get over it, everyone else will too.
Good luck, m'dear.

Thanks for helping me with two things, I just really need advice. I do tell kids it's an allergic reaction, but they go all "Yeah right". You do have a rather good idea though, pretending it isn't there and standing up when somebody brings it up. Thank you! (again)

The doctor perscribed another cream and it seems to be working because it's a dark pink instead of blood red. I did buy a turtle neck after dinner when a waiter asked if I had a disease.

Official Gothic Chick The doctor perscribed another cream and it seems to be working because it's a dark pink instead of blood red. I did buy a turtle neck after dinner when a waiter asked if I had a disease. It's good that the cream is working! c: Just keep doing what the doctor tells you. ^-^
Nosy waiter. >_ >;;

Don't be embarrassed about it, hun. Everyone has some flaws or problems. c; The people who truly matter won't care about it.

You're right. *blank from previous topic* doesn't care and when I ask him he says it's what's inside that counts. My friends don't bring it up but it's really hard to ignore other people. Thanks for the advice!
