Before you I was alone
My courage little
My friends none
I sat alone in my room
The gleaming gold dazzling me
The surface smooth to the touch
I spent my time to solve it
The world around me gone
The laughing, teasing worth it
The prize was just ahead
The center piece before me
My destiny begins
My heart beats with anticipation
My eyes heavy with fear
A light comes from the center
I’m dragged into a new world
A world of fear and darkness
I scream and jump back to the wall
A creature from a child’s game attacks
I closed my eyes to await my fate handed to me in this nightmare.
A moment passes and nothing happens
I open my eyes in curiosity
I find you standing there,
Arms spread open
Wanting to protect me
Your arms wide open
To save me from the darkness
You accept my pain as yours
You shielded me from the darkness so I could be your light
You took me in your arms that day
You took me in your embrace
You held me tightly
You showed me strength
So I could be pure.
I love you now, my pharaoh

Quiet Hoofs beat
Beneath the Desert Moon
The Days Seering heat
As so does my heart pounds for thee
A lonesome Priestess from an ancient empire
Her Robes ripple in the calm, warm desert winds
The last of her kind
Another love is impossible to find
With a dangerous spell of hope upon her
She's eternally entwined
No One knows where she goes
Nor who her heart pounds for
Creeping in like fog
Is the spirit of her beloved Mahado
Ever so often will she come to the sacared place to unite with his spirit
She wanders alone
Seen and Known but forgotten
She rides into the night
So she doesn't show the tears she cries for him
So in the night sky
These quiet hoofs beat
Beneath the desert moon
The intensity of the days searing heat
And the searing pain deep within her heart
Sunken behind the black and dunes

Ohmigosh, those're both so awesome! I'm not really a huge fan of aishizuxmahaado, but I still loved the poem! heart
I can't write poems to save my life. I had to do a poem for english class last year, so I did a puzzleshipping one, but it was bad soI don't think I will post it... sweatdrop

first off Ohkami Majin THAT SIGNATURE ROX!!!!!!!!! another thing...im in creative writing, one day, ill put up my poem about Yami, when im not lazy and i can find it in that trast heap i call a backpack.
and Isis, that was awsome, bery bery good if i do say so myself.

Yeah, Yuugiou related things make up 99.9% of my life, so when I needed something to write a poem for, it was the easiest place to get inspiration from. It wasn't really direct, because well, the teacher probably would have been fairly disturbed by that(unfortunately...) but the underlying meaning was there...

yeah, ive writen a couple about yugi, and one about egypt...funny thing was, my teacher knows about yugioh, well knows its there.

Heheh...I knew that sweatdrop . Yeah, I love that line, it was another one of those moments that just screamed puzzleshipping...kinky puzzleshipping ninja .
Of course, Yami then goes on to say something about Yuugi dressing flashier so he could get Anzu's attention. But hey, a puzzle fangirl can dream, ne?
