Alright, an explanation of the rules... Either of you roll to beat my number, and then whoever didn't roll first, rolls next. You alternate rollers from that point on.
The goal here is to get three "scores."
What a score is. 1.) When you roll the die, if your roll wins, you get a score. 2.) If you lose a die roll... NO ONE gets a score. 3.) If you tie... both players get a score.
Any questions, just ask in the original worm battle thread.. 3nodding

[I apologize for taking so long to edit. I was conflicted on which character to choose. sweatdrop ]
A frigid wind blew across the arena as the demon stepped inside. Fiery eyes scanned the arena as his hands clasped tightly about the handle of his axe. Tattered cape flapped in the wind as sensitive ears twitched to discern the location of his opponent.
Markus was ready, as always. He was refreshed and eager for battle. He had rested and had enough reserves to use a few of his powers without suffering too many consequences, and if he could feed on his opponent`s fear and anger, then even better. He lived on those negative emotions. They made him stronger, more powerful, more of a force to be reckoned with.
But would his opponent falter? He would have to see.
And so the demon stood in his usual starting spot, twirling his axe as he waited ever so patiently.
Perhaps he shall find some glory today.

[ I hadn't seen this! Sorry! ] Suzy stepped into the new, specialized dome. Her bare feet felt the sand on the ground; her skin felt the cool breeze that seemed to come from nowhere. Her eyes caught sight of her enemy. A demon, with an axe that seemed as large as he. She would have felt outclassed, had she ever felt that way. But as it was, she simply threw away both overconfidence and arrogance; her sadism might have to take a breather for this fight. She couldn't afford to lose, not now. She stayed low, letting him make the first charge; forcing him to make any move at all, lest he miss a surprise attack - for if Suzy had anything, it was speed. Surprise. And so she waited. And so, he knocked her to the ground, before she could even gather her wits. Her cheek kissed the sand, and her face came up rather more colorful than it had been. Perhaps she should have brought a larger spork.

Markus snarled, feeling utterly insulted. Was this really the challenge that he had been promised? A fight with a mime carrying some sort of utensil?
The demon swung again with his axe, seeking to flatten Suzy as he had the last time. But for a few minutes, she persistently evaded his blows and nearly managed to get a few of her own in. The demon growled. "Be still, you pest!"
Suzy didn`t obey, naturally, but Markus was still able to hit her on the side with the blunt of his axe, knocking her to the ground again. This time, both of her cheeks were scraped. But yet, she showed no emotion as always.
Markus started to feel uneasy and took a step or two back. He had no idea what to expect of her, and so he decided that it`d be best to take the defensive.

[ -Is really hoping her good luck in the dome applies here- YUS...! ] The demon was uneasy, and Suzy was a bit bruised. Here was a place for her to fight, a place for her to be as brutal as she liked. No need to collect a heart, no need to fight children. She would show her mettle against a demon today. With a dash of frightening speed, she managed to clamber onto the demon's back, gouging the spork in his cheek before he shook her off, leaving an angry red gash that went from bone to bone. "Not such easy pickings, eh?" Suzy asked, pulling off an overly-impressive backflip into the air, landing in a 'ready to cut your throat' position. This was fun.

[Good roll ! I have a feeling that I won`t be quite as lucky. xd ]
If the demon had an ego at all, it would have most certainly taken quite a beating. But as he did not have one, or something even similar, he just stood there apathetically, only moving to wipe the blood from his cheek. He`d tend to the cut later. There was no need to waste his energy healing such a trivial wound. His fiery eyes smouldered angrily, but he said nothing, as he did not wish to indulge Suzy`s confidence any further.
Instead, he directly burst into a rather violent action. He swung viciously at Suzy, knocking her forcefully to the ground. As she struggled to stand up, the demon thrust his axe forward in an attempt to gouge her with the point, but to no avail. She was simply too quick for him, and as the bloody steel flew forward, she jumped back and away. Again, the demon seemed uneasy. Suzy was nowhere to be found, and an enemy that could not be seen could not be attacked. For a moment he considered using some of his powers to aid him, but before he could summon them, he was yet again met by a rather nasty stinging in his ear.
"My, what big ears you have!" Suzy taunted as she tore into the sensitive flesh of the demon`s ear. By some stroke of luck, she had found his only weakness. Markus shrieked and tore the pest off, but she took a considerable chunk of flesh with her. Blood leaked from where an ear should have been, and the demon seemed dizzy from the pain. But nonetheless, he composed himself the best he could and readied for another beating.
Suzy was only down for a moment from the force of his throw, but he knew that she would recover quicker than he could go on the offensive. And so for yet another round, he made to defend himself. As of yet, he knew that he was at the disadvantage.

[ Last night was full of pure win for Suzy. Today is full of groggy wins. ] Suzy was feeling pretty battered. Her cheeks had already stopped bleeding, but at the same time, she could tell there were bruises forming all along her body. The ear thing seemed to have worked, but Markus didn't seem ready to let Suzy anywhere near him yet. A pity, really. Suzy slunk forward, low to the ground, and grinned an unnerving smile. Markus took a step back, not entirely sure what she was doing. Then, in a cloud of sand and dust that had been kicked into the air, she disappeared. Markus rubbed the sand out of his eyes, trying to see where, exactly, the mime had gone. His problem was soon made trivial by the fact that the spork had landed, with deadly accuracy, in his right eye. He started, and little metal claws attached itself even deeper into his eye. "You're lucky I didn't poison that."

[Heheh, I wish I could have streaks of luck as well ! My rolls often leave a lot to be desired. . . As you can clearly see now ! xd You`d be hard put to lose against this. ]
The demon was hard put to do much of anything effective at the moment. An eye gone, an ear gone. . . He was completely blinded on his right side. The pain made it difficult for him to concentrate but he did not focus too much on it. Markus forced himself to keep his attention on his opponent, but even when he did, he found that his one remaining eye and ear did him little good.
He had heard Suzy sneaking up behind him, the rustling that her feet made in the sand, but he had turned around too late. Before he knew it, his other ear was gone. Rage boiled within him, turned his skin red under all of the blood spattered onto his face. Tendrils of dark energy crept around the handle of his axe. It was all or nothing now. If this last attack didn`t work, he`d have to face the humiliating defeat against the mime.
And so, with the same strength as before, he bolted at Suzy, swinging his axe with such precision that one would have thought it to be the most practical weapon in the world. But, as he had expected, even his best efforts could not match Suzy`s speed. The force of the unsuccessful swing left him vulnerable, if even for a second. But he knew all too well that it would be a second too long.

[ Oh, my. I'm sorry. : X ] An opening. A deliciously presented opening, which Suzy took. No flashy movements, no unecessary acts of brutality. She pulled a vial out of somewhere, and uncorked it with her teeth, and splashed the clear liquid on his face. "I've never tested this on a demon." Markus immediately began to writhe, as though the poison were burning his face - likely, that was just the effect it had in his bloodstream. Although, there was an odd smoking smell. Maybe he'd had that for lunch or something. Within a couple of minutes, the demon had gone own, shrieking in agony, feebly striking out at hallucinations. "How boring. It's just like with everyone else." Suzy pulled her spork out of his face - taking the eye along with - and walked out of the dome.
