White Blood Rose
A white rose in full bloom, Reaching for the blood soaked moon. Thorns caressed by crimson drops, A continuous bleed that no one stops. A war, a fight, it's all the same, We still kill, and rape, and even maim. A child's eyes are made blind, A mothers kiss made unkind, The deafening roar of guns and death, Doesn't seem to take away our breath, So even though the innocent die, And we soil our children with cruel lies. We live our lives as a normal day, Ignoring everything in a subtle way. And those white blood roses we forget, Can turn into our darkest regret.

Ode to Two Lovers
Secrets embedded in her heart, she takes the empty road; a pale blue sky subtly chasing behind. No words to describe no place to fill with her joy... what a clever trick of love, this secret ploy. When her eyes meet with his; universes collide, heartbeats falter. A cup of coffee which holds the longing she feels there aren't enough smiles in the world to encompass the glee to which she kneels. He, in return, is just as starstruck; soft memories of her silken skin; her caress like that of a lily blowing in the wind. When the sun is replaced with it's indigo cousin, his head finds it's way to her breast, as a stallion lays it's head on soft hay; yearning for undisturbed rest. This is the song, the story of two lovers who only ever needed each other.

My Broken Heart Take a look all around And see the red on the ground See that big lump of a mess? I ripped that thing right out of my chest. I dug my fingers in so deep And then I started to cry and started to weep. I felt the blood run over my hand But still I dug to meet my demand. My fingers clasped around something very cold Then I tightened up and grabbed a hold. I squeezed my eyes shut and then my fist No need to be afraid, I didn’t resist. With no hesitation and with no doubt I yanked on it and pulled it out. I opened my fist and then my eyes And looked down at this surprise. This awful mess was my heart? It looked so shriveled and torn apart. The color was not red, but it was black And I knew that I could never take it back. I threw it away from me as hard as I could Then let out a sigh and then I stood. I went to turn around and walk away But something told me to stop and stay. I saw a movement in the shadows, what could it be? But then you walked to the light and walked towards me. You walked up to that flesh that was torn apart Then you slowly started to rebuild my heart. You caressed it and loved it and it made me sick To think that maybe this was all a trick. But no, you stayed, and put it back together Then you kissed my lips and said “All better”. Then gently you placed it back to its rightful place Any marks or cuts? None. Not a trace. Slowly you slip your hand into mine And then I knew everything would be fine. Maybe my heart isn’t like it was before But at least now it doesn’t hurt anymore.

Broken
I let you walk away with the heart i let you steal nothing can save me now miracles just aren't real
wishes don't come true i've wished everynight i'm not good enought for you this will never be right
right now you're the only reason that i'm not letting go but my false hope ran out but i'll never let it show
you kept your eyes shut ignoring the tears i've never wept we are broken promises never kept

Snow This poem is about the death marches in the Holocaust. May all who died rest in peace...
A single snowflake falls to the ground
Slowly, swiftly, not making a sound
Men and women, old and young
March on and on, one by one
The ones that couldn’t keep up were shot
Their bodies left on the ground to rot
One hundred thousand people were dead
The pure white snow turned a deep dark red
As more and more of the snowflakes fall
Some of the victims attempt to crawl
And keep up with the pace for their dear lives
Wondering whenever they will arrive
The wind howls, and the night is rough
But they still march on, yet they’ve had enough
The solders hold guns to their backs
If the prisoners run, they’re ready to attack
They keep on marching, day by day
Trying to stay alive they pray
Almost half the group is already dead
On the pure white snow, they have bled
Now it’s almost the end of the road
The prisoners don’t know where they will go
Starved and weak they are put in trains
Designed for cattle, and are starved again
Many die along the way
Others will see the light of day
There are not many left on this dreadful walk
Marching together, like a tiny flock
The snow begins to fall again
Oh when will this march ever end…
