I logged onto thesims2.com and went to the exchange to read some stories.
Except nothing is there anymore D:
They don't even have Maxis items anymore!
Are they closing the site or something ?

I'd hope not but it certainly looks that way.

I can't see why they would though as the original Sims site is still up and running as far as I know. Lets just hope it's a server issue that will get fixed.

Inoriteeee!!!? I've been returning to the site every now and then, but it's still down supposedly. I've spoken with some of my BBS buddies, and one girl in particular claims to have called EA to personally ask where the site was and it it was returning. She's been assured that the site encountered many-a problems that needed to be worked out, but that it would be up and flourishing in no time.
I think this was back in June.. maybe July when she posted this in another BBS substitute message forum, and still as far as I know, there's nothing going on. *shrugs* Maybe they only said it to make us feel better, but then pulled the plug on it entirely. Dunno for sure, but it makes me kind of sad.

The log in ability doesn't work anymore either.
I visited yesterday and every time I tried to log in I was given a 500 error that said the page I requested didn't exist.
The main Flash on the front page doesn't even load any more.
