You mean the dog toys that are shaped like steaks, hot dogs, hamburgers, bones, etc.? Meh, I don't really mind them. No actual animals were harmed in their making. Dogs were designed to eat meat. And soy dogs and burgers are usually given the same shapes. So you could always call it a "tofu pup toy" instead of a "hot dog toy" if you want. xp

I haven't really thought about it too much, except to try and convince my dog to keep her rawhide sticks off my bed. Considering how much she loves the things, I don't think I could refuse to buy them for her unless I had a viable alternative that I knew for a fact she likes as much or more.

ana_grl not really, but they do have some harmful effects, but its very rare I Just Don't Like Them In Sight It Isn't Something I Like To See Very Often You Know But Its Just Plastic I Know But It's Not Something That I Personally Don't Like In Sight

I Understand But The Shape (Model) Doesn't Cause Any Harm To Any Animal / Its A "Chew Toy" But Isn't The Greatest Thing In Sight My Point Right? . .

I honestlydon't care how they look. They don't even look like 'real' meat usually. I thik it's unnecisary to go on a vendetta against a chew toy. It's not real meat, and it isnt supporting the meat industry really. As long as you eat healthily and live a healthy meat-free lifesyle, why should it matter if you've got one reference of meat in your home? It's not like that automatically makes you a bad vegatarian/vegan. It's just something for your pup to play with to keep him content. Do you puke when you see people eating veggieburgers, or chik 'n' nunggets (fake meat) because its shaped like meat? Prsonally, im not a fan of fake meat...but thats besides the point. It's a toy for your doggie friend, and as long as it doesn't have nasty chemicals in the plastic, I think it might be unnesisary to have anything against them.
