I've heard of that... saw a small teaser about it on TechTV's Cinematech. Has a creepy chubby girl who looks rather harshly at herself... and you have a dog accompanying you, more like a guide than a guardian. What you have to do is actually appease the children... rather than defeat them.

I've been looking up things on the game and it looks pretty damn cool. It has a lot of similarities with Haunting Ground but what's not to like about that! 4laugh

I think it looks pretty creepy. It is deffinetly a game I plan on buying. Can't wait till Sep. 12th.

They're child-like monsters. Similar to in the original silent hill, but these have much more of a resemblance to children.

I own the game now, and I must say that it is one of the most unsettling (not so much scary) games I've ever played.
I can't play it right before I go to work because I get too depressed (I get too sad watching poor Jennifer--who ironically is the same age and has the same name as me--suffer the way she does), or I mull over the storyline. Combat is hellish, but it's what you'd expect playing a "Poor, helpless, unlucky girl", isn't it? It's not like she can pick up Pyramid Head's machete and wreak demonic havoc with it.
But it is fun, especially since it plays like an old-school adventure game (I love that!), and not so much like a RE clone.

Yah, I saw a video of combat and that's why I haven't picked up the game. Watching the main character swinging a knife blindly at evil children didn't scream fun. The idea that it plays like an adventure game is appealing though.

I got it the other day and can't wait to play it. I only watched the trailer for it, hopefully I won't regret my purchase.
