Sniper:
Common pup..."
Nick grabbed Tidus by the arm as she begun to run back toward Blaze.
"No time to load, get your zoid and get out of here." She called back to Dante as she headed toward her own zoid. A demonic voice echoed over the flat land like thunder. This is when Nick knew, she knew the demon was there and coming in fast. As for that other Zoid, they had to have been running from it. They were showing no sign of stopping.
Fire shot from the clouds toward Fubar. The wild Gryphon Zoid was too fast to have been hit by the streams, but they cut it close. Only Moments later a large beam shot past the Zoid and illuminated the area with a red, purple, and white light. The beam cut close to the group and made blaze flinch a little, but none of the beam touched any metal. It was an obvious show of danger, and a purpose miss.
This beam caused more black smoke from the back storm approaching them, and the demon's laugh seemed to become more clear.
Thalion:
Fubar let out another loud cry of warning, the last one he'd give. The gryphon zoid began to pick up pace, the jets blazed behind him as he shot through the sand, fanning out the large metalic wings.
"Damnit!" Hugo turned over a shoulder again, gripping the controls so tight his knuckles had began to whiten. "Ohh no...." Hugo's eyes went wide as the gryphon lurched forward, leaping himself up into the air to shoot over the TZ, sending a wave of sand after him in his wake.
"KWREEE!" He shrieked again, kicking his legs to gain altitude.
Dante:
Dante's eyes sort of went wide seeing the dark clouds fire a beam at them and he didn't wait to be told twice. He ran into the TZ looking at Aeris as he ran by. "We need to go and now, so brace yourself this might get bumpy." He ran into the cockpit kicking it into high gear as he took off from the storm as fast as it could accelerate and go. The only bad thing about moving in a TZ is tat it was slow but it was also very strong. So it could take a lot of damage and deal some itself but he knew it probably wasn't enough. He heard the plates crash as they moved forward at full steam towards the town/city and away from the storm.
He flipped on the intercom, "What the hell is that? I can tell you know what it is and know something about it. So tell me what we are dealing with here. Is this why you guys are so jumpy and untrusting all the time?" He had a hard look on his face as he looked into the intercom, he wanted answers and needed them in order to fight appropriately. He knew he would have to contact that one Zoid that almost hit them soon to get more answers but he would stay talking with Nicky for now.
Dreamer:
Titus didn't need to be told twice, She had learned the hard way to take Nick's command, when told. The Sand Whipped up agents her back, from the Running Zoid and it's wake, as Titus kept sprint with Nick if not more, needing not to be lead on, and would fallow her into the Pit.
-Not again!...- Titus thought angrily to her self, not finding words.
Sniper:
Not even the sand stopped Nick from getting into the cockpit of Baze. Nick made sure Tidus was in and Kagi was on Blaze's back before she closed the cockpit and sped off after the gryphon zoid.
This time Nick actually switched on the COM-Link with Dante.
"That's the Demon that's been chasing us. It~" Than the com link fuzzed out. There was more interference as the dark cloud approached.
Now the laughing was clear to all four of them. It was as if it was right behind them.
"There is no escape from fate. You will all meet it. Weather it finds you by will or force." The dark voice spoke to each of them as the cloud surrounded the zoids. It was as if they were now in a thick black fog. The voice became stronger as the fog became thicker.
Thalion:
"Will you let me drive already Fubar!?" Hugo wrenched back on the controls, much to the gryphon's frusteration. Fubar began climbing up higher into the sky, the boosts blazing a stream of red light behind him as his wings pumped harder upwards. The creature was gaining behind them, any closer and they'd have no option but to fight.
"What the..." Hugo glanced down behind them again- others here? One of them was climbing up at them, "Now look what you did! They're gonna shoot us down!"
Dante:
Dante swore as the comm went out, damn this interference. He definately didn't like the sound of that voice and it caused chills down his spine. He tried to push the Hover Cargo even faster, he wanted to get away from this thing. The thought of Fate though kept running through his mind, you cant escape fate...he growled to himself though. Fate didn't exist, you had say over your life you were not predetermined to do something. He would survive this and maybe even beat this thing. He would decide where his life went, not fate and he would determine when he died not this thing.
Adrenaline rushed through veins and his mind clouded as he started running on instinct now. Fear and anger pushed him past reason and into reflexes, he would survive, he would flee or fight what ever needed to be done. He would live and he would succeed.
Dreamer:
Titus made it quickly into the Pit as Nick did, taking her place in the back space behind Nick's chair; as small as it was Titus had learned to call that her home in their adventures....
Growling at the voice; she was constantly reminded of her lost Fate. Her partner, more the just any Zoid. And She was taken by this Demon, that more then threatened to finish the job.
Sniper:
Dante would feel a cold set of claw press lightly on his shoulders. There was a sharp buzzing noise followed by the lights flickering on and off as a demonic voice laughed throughout the HC. It was smooth and eerie.
"Everyone is meant for something... at the end of the road death meets us all." It hissed in his ear. It’s hot breath like a flame near his head.
"But how long that road is up to you... What you do in you life decides what you were made to be. So, what will it be Dante? How long is your road?"
----
Nick grit her teeth as the dark fog took over completely. The COM-Link was fried and there was no communication with the other Zoids caught up in this mess. As she looked back at Tidus, Tidus would see something completely different. Her old mentor, Song Bird, looking back at her.
Within that little moment there was a flash of light and the next second Song bird was limp in the seat, blood trailed from her eyes, nose, and mouth. Her eyes rolled back in her head. Slowly her arm rose and aimed "Peace Maker" At Tidus.
---
"This is pointless...." Nick mumbled as she looked down at the COM-Link than back at the fog ahead of them.
"What now? You sit with an assassin.. a murderer like yourself." A demonic voice chuckled from behind. Nick slowly looked back to see the Judge sitting where Tidus once was. Slowly Nick lifted her gun at the Demon.
---
"Are we still sore about the village Hugo? You know I spared your life... your village was doomed because of their auctions, but you are alive because I found you to be fit to do so." The judge Whispered to Hugo. The voice echoed thought the cockpit.
"Now come back to me... I would so love to meet you in person. I know you have been dying to meet me little boy."
Dante:
Dante shivered from the feeling of the breath and the errie lights and laugh. He spun backing away from it at the same time and aimmed it right at its head. "My road will be long and I will even out live you, you sick freak." He double tapped into the freak, one towards the heart, one towards the head. He wasn't going down without a fight, he watched and waited for it to fall. He was going to end this ******** and move on with his life, he wouldnt let him or her take him.
Dreamer:
Titus looked up from her growl as what she thought would be Nick looking back at her; It wasn't in fact it was....no it couldn't be. Titus' brown eyes widened and she slowly uncrossed her arms. Almost gawking at the sight, mouth ajar
"J-oy?...." Her words where soft and barely made it out of her mouth, stuttering of the end of her tongue. But before even the word left her mouth, the image was replace. A horrifying one at that. It sent shivers escalating though her body, it was the closet thing she ever felt to fear in her life.
-No!No!No!....DO SOMETHING! DO SOMEHING! ANYTHING! YOU STUPID PUP!- Her mind raced as she tried to move her now heavy lead body as she stared at the limp body. She couldn't move! WHY! Her thoughts darted though her mind but yet she couldn't gasp a single one to move her body, let alone look to the vary gun Gun drew Nearer to her.
Ripping her sight from the corpse, she felt her cheeks become moistened as unknowing, silent tears ran from the craves of her eyes. Her eyes glued on to the barrel of the gun, she knew that gun...that Gun, she had carried that Gun,...she had derived it to Nick. Nick!? Where was Nick? She was just...
Titus didn't dare look at the corpse again her eyes remained attached to that vary gun...And it's aimed barrel...
"Gun..." The word slipped out of her mouth, she didn't even know she had even spoken, until the soft hum hit her ears. The word was so slight at it was the only thing that she could resister to say. A failed attempt to say Nick's name.
Thalion:
Hugo hissed under his breath, wrenching the controls back much to the gryphon zoid's displeasure. The large wings screamed as the wind tore through the bladed feathers. Hugo had taken control of his zoid, nearly blinded by rage at the voice filling the cockpit. Fubar screamed in protest but under the hardened fists of his piolet there was little resistance.
"YOU WENCH!" Hugo roared, sending his Zoid into a flip right towards the mass on its tail. He was still unfamilar with the guns but he knew very well of the bladed wings and claws his zoid posessed.
Sniper:
http://37days.typepad.com/37days/images/cheerios.jpg---
Blood exploded from the dark figure, but it did not cause it to stumble one bit.
It only laughed at his and his attempt to rid himself of the terror.
"Oh, my road ended a long time ago boy. I have found a new one to travel and I can assure you it will never end. " It laughed, fire shooting form its mouth. The mask it wore gradually cracked and chunks begun to fall off and disintegrate as they fell. Being gone before they touched the ground.
Behind the mask was nothing but thick black fog swirling about. Some of it begun to seep through the cracks in the demonic mask, sailing up toward the ceiling.
---
Nick paused as the figure spoke. Tidus, where had the puppy gotten to? All she could hear was the constant buzzing sound in her ears and the laugh of the Judge. Nick hesitated as she begun to tighten the grip on the trigger.
The sound made her right eye cut in and out. The image shifted from Tidus to the Judge in that eye creating a split image.
This caused her grip to loosen a little.
-think about this... this isn't making any sense. -
---
The corps changed faces back to what it was originally. Only this time there was a red glare on her right eye. It shown dimly through her shades. The gun remained in place, but the grip on it loosened slightly.
"You are hopeless... and powerless to do anything. What are you going to do now? Cause the death of yet another? It's too late for that... worthless, murderer and a liar." The demon laughed at Tidus.
---
"Such hateful words for a little child." It mocked. Fubar would find himself heading for a large dark mass, but what the fog did not reveal to him was that he was heading right for the Transport Zoid owned by Dante.
"Such a barbarian." It continued to mock and laugh at Hugo.
Dante:
Dante ducked out of the way of the fire. He must have pissed it off, and he smiled seeing the mask fall to the ground well that did something though it didnt seem to do enough. Maybe its heart and organs were else where, and maybe if he shot the darkness it would kill it. "Oh don't you worry freak, your road will end. Maybe that is my purpose in life is to end your retched road." With that he shot again at the dark mass that was forming. Right through the center of its head and then one more at each of its shoulders. This thing was messed up, how did the mask disintegrate like that and where was this black fog coming from? Things weren't adding up and if he wanted to live through this he needed to know what it all meant. He needed to figure this thing out and end this thing before it killed him.
Dreamer:
Titus' gaze dropped from the Gun to it's owner as she listen the words from the monster; part of her believing it, but another remained to what she was taught by Nick. She did think about raising that gun, and part of her would have done so if not for that talk. -hopeless, murderer, Lier,....no..I....don't...want..too- Titus' hand slowly creeped to her own Gun, as if fighting with herself to not pull the weapon. She could do it...it wouldn't hurt that much would it...she would be left alone again...but,...No! what was she thinking...she was in control...not whatever it was....
She let out a soft annoyed grow as she looked back at nick, her eyes to her's even if the shades blocked the view, she notice the red hue. And she made the choice...Though as hard as it was not to defend her self...no of this was making sense....Joy was dead...and she was in Blades pit; Nick's owner. if she wanted to shoot her...it hadn't stopped her before.
"Do it...." Titus smiled...Maybe she was going crazy...but it amused her in a way, because as she thought about it....and the words that escaped her mouth...if it really was Nick and she heard her She would shot her most likely shoot or get beat for even compromising with death. Maybe that is why she chose such words....
Thalion:
Barbarian..." Hugo hissed under his breath sharply. That word always brought his blood to a boil. His tribe had been a small one, living off the land around them. Just a few small plots of fertile soil that had been worked for generations out of the desert was the food source for the whole village. They lived by hunting, trading their 'exotic' goods to nearby villages. Zoids weren't uncommon to see but none from his village had ever pioleted one- perhaps with his temper and lack of ability behind the controls it was becoming more and more apparent as to just why that was.
"ATTACK IT FUBAR!" Hugo commanded, throwing the controls forward and slamming his thumbs down on the buttons alongside the control sticks. The gryphon's talons burst into a flaming glow, sending themselves right down at the target. "I'll avenge them... Every last one!"
Sniper:
As Dante assaulted the Judge its whole body begun to disintegrate into that black fog.
"You amuse me boy... We'll have to meet again, heh, yes. Some day we will." It laughed as the fog begun to clear.
It was than that her purpose was realized. By now the Gryphon zoid was less than a few seconds away from the Transport Zoid leaving no time to react. The Judge had played them all for one reason, a collision and a distraction.
Nick grunted as she nearly pulled the trigger, but before a shot could be fired, Blaze tripped as his side scrapped the side of the Transport zoid. Nick was thrown off balance and slammed into the eject button. Her seat was thrown from the Zoid along with her. She gasped as she vanished into the rapidly vanishing fog. Kagi could be heard taking off after her, but his noise too vanished along with his frame.
Blaze lat flat on his chin parallel to the HC.
"You, Hugo, are nothing more than that. Nothing. You can't even protect the ones you care about... worthless and weak. Ponder that little boy." And with that the fog was cleared revealing all three zoids as they all faced each other.
Dante:
Dante smiled seeing her retreating form, thats right she better run. He was high on adrenaline and other hormones then smiling at his victory. "Run you freak, next time I see you I'll end you for real. Not just wound your weird a**." He was happy she was gone and holstered the gun, looking at where she just was he noticed the holes in his bridge glass.
"Awww man they went straight through her and through my glass, now I have to fix this too." He walked over to te glass looking at the damage more closely when he felt Blaze scrap his Zoid and jarred him and the TZ. He cursed, they were messing up his damn HC and he didn't like that. HE then saw the other Zoid coming right at him and cursed again, this wasn't good. That freak probably had set this whole thing up, oh he was going to mess her up for that. He dove away from the glass though hoping to get away from te inevitable collission that was about to happen.
Dreamer:
Titus' gaze concentrate hard on the Gun as she watched for the slight movement on trigger. she was unexpectedly jolted to the side as the Zoids collided. Growl of frustration left her mouth only to be linked to a grunt of surpizment, as the pit flung open and Nick's seat rocketed from the pit unexpectedly, almost taking a part of Titus with it. Titus's arm found it's way to cover her face as the pit left, as if to protect it for any dhabi or anything of the sort. Her other hand fell firmly upon the the pit's inner to stable her self and save her from a fall; as Blaze's head dropped.
Thalion:
What!?" Hugo's eyes flew open as the illusion faded and another zoid came into sight. "FUBAR PULL BA---" He had little time to say anything else. The gryphon zoid pulled its claws back just enough to shield itself slightly from the impending collision with the other zoid. The sound of metal slamming agianst metal rung out hard as the gryphon slammed right into his mark, bouncing and rolling itself back into the sand with a trail of sandy clouds and broke bits of rocks in its wake.
"Krwreee......"
Sniper:
The fog vanished revealing no footprint of the Jury. The sand had erased them from existence. Along with the wreckage, in half buried in the sand, was the chair ejected from Blaze. The chair was darker than it had been. A closer look would reveal Nick's shades resting on the chair. Both lenses were heavily cracked with the right side having several pieces missing from it. There was a long stream of blood on the right side with heavy splatters on the left side, as well blood leading to a long blood covered chunk of skin pinned under the sand. It was smoothly cut from the top and curved to the bottom, which was buried under the sand. The skin was that of a right arm, whole. No where was it torn. It was thick as there were all layers there. And to make thinks scramble more out of place, Nick ( and Kagi) was nowhere to be found...
Blaze groaned as he kicked his feet back. His head hurt badly. Not only did that fog mess with his circuits, but is just felt weird from fog he had ran in before.
"Graw?" He called back to Tidus and, whom he did not know was missing, Nick.
The Judge's demonic laugh echoed over the desert like an eerie wind. It mocked at each of the members of that group of persons. Than, like the wind, it was suddenly gone and left the group cold and without answers.
Dante:
Dante cursed to himself, the window shattered on impact from the other Zoid and he got up shaking off all the broken glass on him and in the cockpit. He cleaned himself off and walked over towards the window, pissed off, now he really needed to fix the damn window, at least it didn't matter that he shot it before. He thought he heard a rocket or something just before he was hit but there was no one attacking so he didn't know where it came from.
He walked down and outside to make sure Aeris was still ok and strapped in, and walked outside. "Hey you alive up there? Mind telling me what the f*ck is going on here?" He looked at Blaze and set his hand on his nose and looked over the side of his Zoid and cringed, needed a new paint job on top of everything. F*cking freak wreaked his HC and next time he saw her, she wasn't going to be happy with him. He was going to kill her and then Aeris and her were going to rip her to shreds, especially her Zoid if she had one.
Dreamer:
Titus looked up from the wreckage as blaze let out his grown. Dropping her arm she looked around, where was Nick? Her squinted brown eyes caught the sight of the chair half buried in sand. Without saying a word to Dante and his question, She jumped over the gap where Nick's seat had been, Kicking off of Blaze's 'Nose'. Pasting up Dante and his question, As if she didn't even hear him. She didn't have a answer for him anyway. She didn't know what was going on.
Landing from the kick off, she quickly took off in a dash, chasing after the immobile chair. Like it was going to dissipate any moment. Her mind racing, not gasping a single thing that had happened. Where was Kagi?....He was always where Nick was.
Stopping at the chair Titus looked over the wreckage, noticing the blood and damaged shades. Titus hopped easily over the chair inspecting it, Where was Nick? Her eyes moved from the shades to the trail of blood, to the skin. Crouching down Titus gritted her teeth, as the past images of the Demon shot through her mind. Was she....dead?
A too familiar thick dread dropped in her stomach at the taught. Not again....
Thalion:
Fubar let out a mechanical groan, slowly shifting itself back to all fours though for the moment he remained crouched. His circuts clicked and whirled around- very simular to how a human's headache would have been. The gryphon zoid shook out its head a bit, rattling the driver inside the cockpit.
Hugo hissed as he came to, slowly putting a hand to the side of his head. Thankfully he wasn't bleeding but he was almost certain that he'd done something to his wrist. He bit down on his lip to contain another grunt as he moved his arm back to rest against his chest. He'd twisted it oddly in his attempt to pull back combined with the impact. Thankfully that was the worst of it.
"What happened...?" He groaned, daring to open his eyes and blink against the blurred lights and figures against them.
"Kwreee...." Was Fubar's groggy answer.
Sniper:
Blaze groaned as he got to his feet and took a step toward Tidus. That's really all it took to get right next to her. His Large toe only five feet away from her. Nick has this done to her many times and wasn't scared of being stepped on. Blaze was careful.
"Arrriiissss..."He hissed and looked over the area trying to scan for any sign of Nick.
Dante:
Dante followed over there to the chair at a jog to see what was going on and raised an eyebrow. Where was Nicky? She couldnt have jut disappeared, could she? And that skin thing was nasty, he didn't even want to know who would do that. Then the thought came to him, that freak probably did and took Nick. "Tidus, we have to hurry if we are going to find her. No telling what that freak is doing to her right now." He looked up at Blaze and nodded hoping that he would just go into his Zoid while he talked with Tidus and figured a basic plan for this. This was going to be a pain and they needed a plan and to act fast.
Dreamer:
Titus still looked to the empty chair unmoved by the closeness of Blaze's foot, as the familiar feeling of losing someone, a teacher, a friend, an keeper dropped deeply to her gut. She couldn't be dead. Nick; she was tough, and Kagi he wouldn't let that happen...would he?
Titus straighten up, taking a step, she reached out to pick up, Nick's prized shades. Folding them together she still neglected to look up at Dante.
"And go where?..." Titus responded unemotionally almost harshly, as unknown coldness lined her words.
" We need to take inconsideration of the ones we can help now....That is our first priority" Titus still didn't look up as she slipped the glasses in her side pouch. It had seemed as a soldier like personal took her over.
Titus finally tore her gaze from the chair to Blaze. There was the other to think about, the one they could help out now. As for Nick, She didn't know what to do...And she was the one who wanted to find her the most.
Nick was lost and they had no leads. Where would they go?
Thalion:
The gryphon zoid groaned a bit and started to pull itself up from the sand, shooting sparks out of the joints in his shoulder. The display screens fogged over into a storm of static as the rider, for the moment, struggled to get his barrings.
Everything seemed to have sped up again. During the crash everything had blurred, slowed, and distorted. The shock of everything overwhealmed the biting pain that was soon to make itself known in his arm.
Sniper:
Blaze stepped back enough to lower his head next to Tidus. The cockpit hatch opened slowly as his head lowered creating a soft hissing noise.
(( Guys, go ahead and skip me for a bit ( Skip around Scye... just skip around... ). Not much I can do until Blaze is fixed. ))
Dante:
Dante smiled looking at Tidus, it seemed she did have some kind of feelings and mercy. "Yes it should be but we also need a basic plan in place so we dont lose their trail. I can get these guys fixed in no time as well as my own HC." He started to walk over to the other Zoid and stopped for a second and whistled real loud towards his HC.
Three mini Zoids came running out from inside and ran over to him. There was a reindeer, monkey and a grun mini Zoid that quickly ran to him. He knelt down and picked them up, "Ok boys get to work on the Gun Sniper here, I am going to go take a look at the other Zoid maybe work on it. After your done with him come over to the other Zoid." He set them at the base of Blaze and continued to walk towards the other Zoid. The minis started climbing Blaze and began their work quickly.
Dreamer:
Titus Looked up from the chair and at Dante to see his smile as he spoke, The grin only caused a glare to cross her brown gaze and frozen unemotional face. -Trail?!...What Fricken Tail!-
She yelled angrily in her head, as she looked briefly at the given mess and lack of trail.
"Baka...." Titus she growled under her breath shaking her head, as she moved over to Blaze.-You know nothing....- Placing a foot on the side pit; she hopped into the seat-less pit and crouched down. She then began to Rummage around, as if looking for something.
-Where did she put it....-
"...." Titus let out a sigh as she place a hand on the metal exterior of the still well kept First-aid kit. Grabbing it's handle with a steady hand she hopped out of Blazes head, allowing a hand to slid across his exterior as she marched over to the second Zoid. The touch was so gentle and filled with unspoken remorse of what she felt. Never did it once reflect, but with one wrong word or action it was hard to tell what she would do.
Thalion:
Fubar shook its head out once more, the screens inside began to blip off and on between the static blizzard. Inside, his piolet was being shaken around quite a bit, perhaps for the better. It gave him something else to focus on aside from the sprain in his wrist.
However, the gryphon didn't seem to take too warmly to Titus approaching it. The wings flared out and it gave a loud mechanical roar in his direction as it began slowly stepping back away from it. With everything that had happened, he had earned a bit of a right to being defensive.
Sniper:
Blaze hissed as the Minis begun to crawl around on his metallic face. It was not very pleasant and he would fund a way to get these vermin off of his body before they could do whatever it was they were going to do.
He also had to keep an eye on Tidus as the other zoid did not seem to like her approach. It was a promise he made and intended to keep.
Dante:
Dante kept smiling as she was obviously not very bright on the tracking side. It was one of the things he learned to do, especially just knowing computers and machines. "There is always a trail honey. You just have to look close enough to find one, and usually the lack of a trail, is a trail itself." He nodded, he already had a decent idea how he might be able to go about looking for this thing later. The logs on his HC and Aeris should be enough to give them an general direction.
"Umm you may want to be careful, the Zoid doesn't look too happy. Which is completely understandable with what just happened." He looked up at Fubar as he followed Tidus. Daiyu on his shoulder was definately very nervous and shaking with fear. Everything was happening so fast around them and here Dante was his normal self, not caring at all.
The minis hopped right into the cockpit after Tidus left and went to interface with the Zoid and computer. They were going to do a system check to see what needed fixing. But while in there they tried their best in talking to the Zoid. It was very basic english and very basic communication on through the computer. "No worry, we fix, we make feel better."
Dreamer:
Hearing Blaze growl, Mixed with the Boy's babble and 'Honey'. Titus stopped abruptly as Dante fallowed her, she wasn't stupid, she knew the other Zoid was a bit 'riled' and it was only natural....Titus was feeling the same way and there was a few things you didn't say to her or do to her right now, let alone act as if everything was going to be okay...it only ticked her off more.
One, criticize and insult her judgement. Two; question her actions. Three; and this is the big one, call her a 'pet' name.
Her hand shot quickly to her gun and she flipped abruptly around drawing the gun to aim it right at Dante's head; It shook a little in her grip, reviling her angered emotion as her glare warned him to watch his words. She stood out of his reach and It was that kind of look every woman gives a man, telling him to back off and shut up.
Not saying a word she raised the gun to Blaze's Pit, aiming at the mini's Unexpectedly as she raised the weapon, she fired off the set number of rounds at them as they worked.
"Call them back..." She growled, shooting her glare back to Dante before she turned and marched back toward the other Zoid holding a tight grip on to her gun as it relaxed at her side.
"Stand Down...." Titus spoke loudly holding a authoritative tone, stopping she gave the Zoid reasonable room as she knew not to approach it as such. Finally she even more so seemed to have that soldier look. " I am Titus C. Wolf of the Zoidian Empire. special operative of the Rank: Fenrir. What is your status? I assure you no harm," She spoke ignoring Dante and his reaction as she face the other Zoid a few yards off, holstering her weapon, she stood tall and held her arms respectively to her side. Knowing her words likely meant nothing after what just happened, but it was a obligation and a response
Thalion:
Fubar backed up at the gunshots, the metalic hackles rose up all along it neck and crown. It seemed to have more of a will of its own than a normal zoid should have. Currently it was in a terribly defensive state. With its piolet injured inside, it reacted the way a wild animal would in protecting its young. Even if Titus meant well and was able to help Hugo, he didn't seem to register that.
In response to her demand the zoid only roared, backing up slowly.
Hugo leaned forward, cradling his arm close to his chest. It was swelling up quickly around his wrist, never a good sign. He looked to the screen in front of him, finally catching his bearings. "..uh..." he looked around a bit, smacking a few of the buttons in front of him. Fortunately, the speaker was already on, "D-don't shoot! I'm Hugo! This zoid's just...it's trying to protect me is all." He didn't know the woman's name, or what her rank was, or the empire- any of it...
Quite frankly, compared to many of the cultures his was rather primitive. His garb reflected as much- or what was left of it. He'd never even seen or heard of zoids before the attack on his village, they'd been simple folk living off the land by hunting and farming what they could.
"Status...uh.." He looked around, "...hey my arm's kinda swollen...do you haveanything to splint it in?"
Sniper:
Blaze didn't even flinch as the Mini zoids were shot from his face. It was a small dent and could easily be fixed. He looked up as Tidus spoke to the gryphon zoid. His own his and grunts added to the assurance that the woman would only help the wounded pilot and that he should trust her.
Blaze did, however, say that he should keep an eye on the male figure.
All this was messaged by grunts and signals that only zoids can understand and their closely boned pilots.
Dante:
Dante raised an eyebrow looking at Tidus, here he was trying to help and he gets a gun pointed at his head. He looked back over his shoulder at his minis and snapped his fingers. They knew that meant to quit and come to him. He essentially had enough of this crap and listened to what they were saying before. "I have plenty of stuff to put a splint on that. If you guys need me you can join me in my HC." He turned and walked away towards his Zoid and HC. Screw these guys if they didn't want his help then they weren't getting it. He would try to find Nicky and some information on the enemy. Unless he was asked though he wasn't going to share the information he gathered.
The minis scurried over to him and used him as a body shield between them and the girl and the Zoid. They didn't want to get shot again, they were only trying to help and doing what Dante said. These people weren't nice that was for sure. Once they made it back to the HC they scurried into their little homes and waited for orders.
Dreamer:
Titus from the point, compleatly innored Dante as he walked off the mechniqual scurrys of the minis was asurance enough that he actually did as he was told. She was starting to understand why Nick got so ticked off by dissobencance, It was just Frickn' Annoying!
Letting out a breath, she compsed herself and distached her from her pervious thoughts...well tried to, her strict stance reflected her anger and copping skills to the shock of just having a compainion dissapeer out of nowhere. Itkept runing in her mind, strangly enough: what would Nick do? The answer came simple: 'what she was trained' right? Deal with what you can now...Help what you can now.
She didn't know Nick that well yet, but something told her that is what she would do...Could titus actualy look up to her in a since, besides height?
As The Zoid reacted, Titus stopped in her step and crossed her arms waiting for the pilot to control the zoid or for it to calm down. "I understand, but you have to control your zoid before anything can be done..." she stated the obvious, trying not to sound to crule to the newcomer, but her mindset dealing with everything was another thing right now.
