It came to my attention when my fiance commented that we were going to be a military family.

How do I raise a Wiccan family in the Military?

IE: Samahain is a very big holiday for us, but I don't think the school system is going to be very kind. I want to raise my children proudly to be who they are, not tip-toe around things to make it work without setting off alarms.

We are a Wiccan family in the military (USAF) and you would be surprised how many others there are! Yes, you do get some very closed minded people to our beliefs, but you get that in all walks of life. Some bases even offer Wiccan services.
Right now, our daughter is just coming up on her 1st birthday, so we haven't had to deal with problems at school yet.
Which branch of the military are you going to be part of?

Navy.

My son is two and my daughter is 4 months tomorrow (today is the 28th)
I worry sometimes, and Kevin tries to remind me that I'll be okay and that we'll figure out a way, but I love looking into the future, and sometimes, in my visions, I see bad things.

It's natural to be worried when entering a new stage of life (and the military certainly has it's fair share of worries with it) but in my experience, things usually do work out, not always in the way you expect them to, but they seem to work out.

My sister often tells me that the worst anyone could do is make me feel bad about how I raise my children.
