I looked once more at a picture of Joe and I and sobbed "How could I just let him go?" He just left for tour, and I already miss him. I thought about how he said he loved me. I didn't even say I loved him too. I just smiled and sobbed "Don't go!" I could have kicked myself for what I did.
I heard someone knocking on the door, so I went to get it. There, standing before me was a vampyre. A Tracker. I screamed, when he marked me, and fell. I couldn't catch what he was saying because of how dizzy I felt. All I heard was "You have been chosen by Nyx"
I woke up on my brother's lap, and saw my dad pacing around the room, with the phone in his hand.
I asked "Rithik..what just happend?"
He paused, and then replied "You fainted. We came home, and you had saw that you had been marked"

"He's trying to get Vik here so that he can take you there since dad doesn't know where it is"
