Hello all!
So here it goes, I was in the hospital during the beginning of this month for ketoacidosis. I was removing my pump and when I pulled out the site the canulla was bent! The doctor said this was probably the cause of my getting sick.
I use a Minimed Paradigm pump and have Quick-set sites ( they are circular with the blue caps over the needle). While in the hospital the diabetes educator told me i should use the Silhouette because it is angled and doesnt kink as easily. I am really comfortable with the QS but want to know what other people are using and how they feel about their sites. Please just say whatever about the sites you use, if you have heard anything that sounds better or worse about different sites...etc.
Thank you!

I'm on the pump and I use the silhouette but I feel mine kinks quite a bit too anyways. I normally use my legs and behind for my injection sites as when I put it in my stomach it falls out a lot, both sites work well though even when its kind kinked up.
I've been told to use my arms but it terrifies me really and also the thought of changing from using the silhouette as the others go straight into you. The only problem for me really is the sensor, whenever I use that I bleed for an hour and the only spot I can use it in is my leg.
