is fish meat too? because i asked my dad and i'm eating a fish like shrimp and what not and is fish basically meat too only from he sea?

Yes, if you weren't aware before. Fish is meat. Many fish and creatures from the sea are similar to to animals on land. Tuna for example are warm blooded in that they can regulate their body temperature.
Octopi are intelligent and curious creatures, and squid are now being found to be gentle and playful now that they are being studied away from fishing boats where they are stressed.

Yes, fish and shrimp are certainly meat in my book. They're made of flesh and can feel pain just like any other animal.

this seems so obvious....WHY is there so much confusion on this subject?
They're not Fungi.
They're not Plants.
They're not single cell organisms.
Fish are animals, and therefore should not be eaten by people who claim to be veg*an.
I don't see what "being from the sea" has to do with it....does the fact that they're not land dwellers make them less worthy of recognition?
