Basic info about the subforum:
This subforum is for RPs based on MOVIES, TELEVISION SHOWS, AND ANIME.
IF you want to RP about a book converted into a movie, you should do that in THE LIBRARY. Not The Movie Theater.
Example: You can RP about Star Trek but you cannot RP about Lord of the Rings here.
If the movie was turned into a book, like 2001: A Space Odyssey, you may RP that here.

Generally, I don't watch a lot of anime. Or TV. Or movies.
Unless they're sci fi.

I've watched every episode of Star Trek TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY, and ENT, as well as all the movies multiple times.
I've watched every episode of Stargate SG1 and Atlantis.
I've watched all the Babylon 5 stuff there is to watch.
Etcetera.
I do volunteer work at an observatory IRL. I'll be in college next year majoring in astrophysics.
If I see any discontinuities in an RP I will be a little miffed if they are the result of negligence on your part. On the other hand, I think that changing things around for the purpose of your RP is totally fine.
