( Rose )Rose sat on the small dock of the lake, her feet dangling over the water, watching the sun set. rose loved sun set.
Being half vampire had it's advantages and dis-advantages. Her favorite advantage was that she could be in the
sun for an hour or so without being hurt by the sun.
Her favorite time of all was sunset. She always felt like she could connect with it.
Her mother was human, but she was changed after having her. Now her family was almost completly nocturnal, except for Rose.
She never really fit in in either world.
She wanted to go somewhere where she fit in. She had odd powers that the other vampire children teased her about.
She'd ignored them. But always in the back of her mind it botherd her.

Rose woke shortly before sunset, as usual. She dressed in her normal gothic lolita attire, and walked the short distance, to the lake. She saw other girls along the edges of the lake each night. She thought they were nothing more than girls from the town preparing to leave.
"Hello.." A voice from behind her said. She stood up lightning fast and turned arround with the same speed. "Hello. who are you" Rose asked.
"I'm lilly. I noticed you come out here every night arround sunset. could you perhaps be half vampire too?"She asked
"Y-yeah.. I'm half vampire. My name is rose."
"Well rose, it's getting dark. My parents don't know i've left. See you tommorow then." Lilly smiled and walked away. Rose, too, headed home.
"Rose." Her mother said when she walked into the kitchen/ "are you hungry. I made smoothies." ice, ice cream, blood and fruit... yum... She thought sarcasticly. Though she could drink blood, and needed to every once in a while, it was not her favorite thing. "no thanks mom." she said. "i'll make my self something." "Okay Dear!"
