A pokemon mmo!

This one has actually been out for a couple years, and while it's still in "beta", the team working on it has ramped up their efforts lately.


Plus sides:

- Sprites and gameplay like fire red and leaf green!
- Kanto AND Johto
- You can have any pokemon follow you!
- It's a ******** pokemon mmo!



Negatives:

- Battle system not fully implemented (no special/physical split, status effects other than poison don't work, most moves that aren't purely attacking fail...)
- Small server capacity (they're working on a new server)
- Lots of random down times



Something tells me that if they can keep it up, in 2 years this will be one hell of a game, and everyone here will wish they had played through at least the first 8 gyms before it got uber popular.

I found it to be a pretty simple process. Now getting onto the server... that's a whole different issue.

I tried it a year ago and it wasn't great.
But I'm glad to hear about the improvements (especially with the sprites; it definitely made a difference playing without the proper pokemon sprites). I may have to try it out again :3
